My husband and I just flew business-class from Amman to Chicago and agree with everything you said . Would like to add that flight attendants’s in-flight uniforms are beautiful (each one had a different one too) and the service was very attentive. Wine choices were excellent- primarily Jordanian wines, which are very drinkable and went well with delicious food. We had 3 services on the 12+ hour flight - full dinner, self-service snack and full lunch. And the amenity kit holder was lovely - we were even given a choice of 3 colors. A friend who was on the same flight in the back said even the food there was good!
Outstanding review, as usual ! I am so glad that you mentioned the stunning livery of Royal Jordanian Airlines. It's my favorite of all airlines. It's too bad that RJ went with the 2-2-2 seat configuration. I have been spoiled with all aisle access and especially suites with doors. I am aware some passengers feel claustrophobic in suites but the privacy offered makes them my favorite way to travel. The food you enjoyed in the lounge looked quite delicious. Thanks for such an enjoyable review and kudos to you for hitting 70,000 subscribers. The only place you are going is UP, UP, UP. 👍💯.

I toured Jordon for a couple of days in 2017 (wonderful country!) and we were accompanied by the 'tourist police'. He came to all the sites with us, ate with us and sat in the front of the van the entire trip. I didn't know they also provided air police too!

It could be the guy who took the seat next to you is the flight marshall in 'incognito', pretending to be an ordinary passenger secretely observing what you are doing. Hahahaha...lol.
Thanks for watching Michael. And interestingly Emirates 777 has a J product even worse, 2-3-2 with angle flat beds. But yes, RJ is never going to compete head to head with the ME3, however for regional travel within the ME, it offers a great product on their 787s.

I wouldn't be surprised that your new neighbor was in fact a flight marshal (I would find that odd that a random person just chooses to sit next to you no offense even though there were clearly other seats available )

RJ has improved a lot during and after covid .. Good to see this level of service on board. 👍👍👍 Also glad to see the RJ Crown lounge serving real hot meal dishes and Pizza and Ice Cream 🤯🤯🤯!!! as my last time in it was only Arabic Mezza and some small sandwiches and snacks. Defiantly will try it next time. There is another Petra Lounge which is very good classy one as well. I have access for all using my banks credit cards.

You really don't eat badly. I know you keep saying you need to lose weight, but you look fine to me. Of course, it's your body. All you really need to do s cut back or cut out desserts. Maybe a bite here and there. Lol BTW, I'm saying this to you as I would say it to my own son. I am a mom and grandma and there is nothing , NOTHING wrong with your weight. Royal Jordanian is worst of the worst in the world, honestly I don't suggest flying this airliner even for free, the flight attendance ( very mean) beside Royal Jordanian they took about half inch from each seat so they can squeeze at least 3 line row of 9 seats so that about 27 seats more so they can gain more money.. BUT the worst of the worst is the food ( very bad guys ) don't even eat. This is my honest review and experience.

Oh I agree, I think RJ has a certain charm to it, but i'd only fly on a longer flight with them if I was travelling with my other half. For solo flights on anything longer than this one, best to look in the direction of Qatar
It's not ok to film other people, especially at their seat...wow. It's very easy to make your bed. You recline from in the seat position, while seated.

There were many hijackings in that airline history so they make sure everyone knows they have airmarshals on

for solo travelers this is very much true, but for couples not, since you get a view while still sitting together

Royal Jordanian might have one of the best liveries next to the all-black Air New Zealand livery. The 787 sure looks sharp too!
