Fantastic review! I flew RJ many years ago before they had Dreamliners. It was very underwhelming back then, but it seems as if they have improved quite a bit in the long-haul segment.

Amazing,i go every year once or twice and right now im in the lounge waiting for the flight to Amman to visit my relatives!
Great review Jack. As for the onboard catering you will find that conventional airlines would serve more than a "sandwich" when flying from Europe to the Levantine area. They would classify flights as long-haul. Of course some airlines have currently suspended their Amman flights owing to the ME conflict.
Flew with RJ many times from North America to Amman. Love this airline.

Great review! I flew from Amsterdam to Bangkok (via Amman) on 2023-06-14 for only 282 euro (ticket was booked just 36 hours before departure). My experience was like yours, great food served, great airport in Amman, first leg in a noticeable older plane, second leg a nice Dreamliner... 7/10

12:22, Wow, $378 for a 1 way flight from Paris to Bangkok via Amman is very cheap. In comparison, Last June, I flew China Eastern airlines from Ho Chi Minh to London via Shanghai (Same aircraft type and flight number that you flew to Shanghai, but flying in the newer cabin and it's good), it's $390 and it's cheap.
RJ and China Eastern isn't even a comparison for me. As I mentioned, I would happily pay $100 more for this ticket.

they dont even have a320neo or a321neo
The economy here in Jordan is going from bad to worse. Ive traveled mostly with RJ because they give basic needs: good food, clean seat/tables and bathroom, polite staff, landing is always smooth, you can ask for alcoholic drinks eventhough its a muslim country. As a Jordanian, the things with high quality in this country are the weather, and the food. Everything is overpriced and scams are increasing due to the bad economy, and the governement cant control the scam businesses opening reguralry. With what Jordan has, this airline is doing its best and its not bad. The screens dont always work, somtimes are slow, theres no wifi on plane, but you get safely to your destination well fed and well slept,,, unless theres a baby on the plane, which can happen on any flight.

Screen not working? Are you kidding me! 5 hours flight without entertainment its a shame!
The Turkish Airlines flight is 5 hours long and the screen does not work. This is normal
