Jarno is the type of person to play EA SPORTS WRC for the first time but it actually isnt for the first time as he is level 2 in the game.

Probably impossible, F1 licencing might be very strict with what they can and cannot do.
If codies can add that builder concept to myteam for f1 24 then the game will literally be amazing
i have a feeling they are trialing that so maybe f1 24 will have it 👀
@@praesodymium Hopefully, but then again it’s codies and EA and they don’t really take the fans’ feedback into account. If they do add it it’ll be a major breakthrough however they do need to add more as well as that builder concept

Online is the bigger problem see what problems they had in Esports and league racing where big money is on the line
Also in career mode if you're a slow driver then you just put the ai to like 90

already love the menu with the goated menu music from F1 2010
Your whole driving and specially at 12:46 seems to point that you drive based on the visual and not on the co-driver notes. There is no problem on that as you are an alien and due to your background in f1 esports. But in rally there is a massive component which is to anticipate by relying on the co-driver notes, like some say 'You have to trust(the co-driver) and send it!'. Thanks for the video!

Never played a WRC or any other rally game before but playing FH5 expansion got me the urge to pre-order the new WRC game

That camera view is also my favorite in games because it lines up perfectly with my wheel, and cockpit
Hopefully the customisation of the car can have elements transferred to the next F1 game like what your steering wheel looks like and more control over where to put sponsors
F1 24 should have F1 Car Builder and F1 Team Builders!
This is the first time I'm actually excited for an upcoming game in years.

The sound is much better than previous game imo. I havent played both, but i base this on how they sound in your videos.

This game actually looks incredible! And with CONTENT, which is so rare in the racing game / sim genre.
Public opinion went from super cautious to super hype as we get more footage and I’m so happy. I really hope they nail VR, I have several top 100 times using my quest 2 Logitech broke boy setup on DR2😅
It looks too cartoonish, oversaturated and too bright. They even have the same fog effect from Dirt 2. It doesn't look good.

Stoked they finally support VR, rally sims in VR are epic, the sense of speed is insane! Dirt Rally 2.0 has been awesome but is pretty old now. Was hoping the graphics would be a bit better but not too bad I guess.
lets not be hasty and see if they even release it in a reasonable amount of time and how good it is as i heard unreal engine not the best for vr implementation.

This is the fourth in game test vid iv watched. I’m becoming more and more convinced EA may be on to a good thing. The car handling appears very realistic. The sounds might even top DR2’s!
Codemasters have the EA budget to work on WRC.

Those Moments are taken from real things that happened over the history of rallying - do a search for Colin McRae 1992 Scotland and you’ll see videos of him driving this damaged Subaru. Apparently devs will add more of them as interesting things happen in real WRC seasons.

I don't expect it, but if people in a club agreed the game over all has too much grip I'd love it if it was possible to reduce "global grip levels" by a slider or %. DR1 had waaay too much lateral grip, I could save anything by just inducing a slide. DR2.0 was less, but when you then jumped over to RBR you'd just slide off if you did anything wrong.
I think Dirt devs go the "too much lateral grip" path because of casual players, for whom doing big angle dirt slides and using realistic longitudinal grip of tires, is super problematic. Both because of view angles and difficulty to control and understand such behavior.
At first it is satisfying, as you said, makes many mistakes easily correctable, but after a time, pushing for the limit gets boring, much more luck based and repetitive.
Top players, instead of creating perfect controlled slides, will be throwing the car around hoping to fit into tiny gaps at stupendeous speeds, leading to many crashes until a perfect result is reached.
We'll see how this is going to end up working for the title. Dirt 3 was super fun to play around with, especially in party modes. Hopefully this one is also going to end up timeless classic.
Also, rally school looks way too complicated for a rally school, hopefully in final version there will be more simple things and more technique explanations than just timed challenges.

The game looks brilliant. I bought the official game a couple of years ago, but I couldn’t cope with the pathetic force feedback relative to the f1 game, I hope it has improved.

18:27 - look at your entry speed for a 4 right into 4 left into 3 right, you can't drive rally one callout at a time. In other words, Samir, you are breaking the car.
Tracks look identical to Dirt Rally 2.0. Same style. I was expecting more creativity from the developers. Tracks from the WRC series from the prior developers were awesome!
