I have no design skills whatsoever, but it's so fascinating to me to see how different talented artists can take the same brief/idea but all are really interesting to look at.

I love that first design. The colours really pop for me and even though the handlettered logo isn't perfect, I feel like it would be an easy brand to expand on and make different designs without it just being a few colour changes. None of the other designs really screamed "tea" for me.
@@josefine1664 Agreed lol. They looked more like they're alcoholic beverages honestly, and if you don't drink alcohol, those colours wouldn't necessarily invite me
I thought they all did an excellent job! My only hitch was with the noon tea: the NO ON caught my eye first and I lingered on it trying to figure out what it was. Love these videos because they're so helpful for learning how elements work together in a finished project. 🍎
I really like the black/red/gold dusk design. It gives the warm, rich, moody, cinnamony feel you want from a drink in the evening. All great designs and interesting to see the different approaches.
Love these challenges. Keep these coming. It's great seeing all these very talented people and how their ideas come to life. Awesome to see. I am no slouch myself - I can open the Photoshop app....so there's that.
Great video as always. I am absolutely OBSESSED with these kinds of videos so please keep up the work! I love how one of the designs had an "apple" on it. 😉
I love all of them, except the first design in the dusk tea logo. All of them are beautifully crafted, and as a noob, they inspire me to not stick to just my instincts but also try different things and make them work. As I mentioned earlier, I'm a noob, but I think if I ever made a design for this specific prompt, my design would've definitely matched the one in the first. They're all lovely and inspiring.
I think you could have done an APPLE flavour too on the last one. I definitely agree that the last can was the best by far as the black added a modern twist without looking like an IPA because of the grey. However, I think the last can should have used a dark version of the colours used for the fruit icon on the background of the can, not black, so that each can stands out more on a shelf when it has different flavours. I also think the TEA TIME should not be perpendicular but all be in the same direction so that it is easier to read the name of the brand, but it is cool it was placed on the bottom left - that doesn't happen too often and adds an extra distinction that fits!
Your favorite was my favorite as well, just looking at the thumbnail! I could totally see it on a shelf with different flavors and colors. It would instantly catch my eye 🍎
I also liked Rich's design genuinely, wow I mean how much as a student I get to learn from you Will is amazing! btw I wonder what "APPLE" flavoured tea would taste like😄😋😉
Also on Rich’s design the Tea Time logo reads as hands on the clock. Very good designs overall. Martin’s is my favorite one, I can already see that one at the supermarket shelves.
Really great video and all very strong designs. One of the things I enjoy about watching these videos is having confirmation that my design doesn’t need to be bad to not be picked. All of these were incredible and it came down to personal preference like it is when you chose what colour apple you want to eat. Thanks for the video
I'm not a fan of Rich's design. I wouldn't notice it on (or pick it from) a shelf. I love the 2nd design. It would catch my eye & intrigue me. I would definitely want to try it. It's ok that it looks expensive, even if it isn't. People like the even the illusion of top shelf drinks, and I think this gives that distinction.
a serif typeface but the serifs aren't there... you mean a sans serif. Going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're referring to the higher stroke contrast
🍎🍏🍎🍏I’m just a student, my opinion is not relevant but for the first one all I could see was the T being a whale tail and the tea leaves around were the water splash of the tail. 😅
No thank you@@willpatersondesign. You inspire me to continue my design work every single day. Even though I'm not sure I'll ever be as good as I want, I don't give up anymore.
Hope you guys enjoyed the video! Let me know what you would like to see next :)
That green/blue colour is jade
Waiting for the Inspir😮 video
I hope chose me the next video❤
Can you make a video on contest between new designers like giving logo design challenges to new graphic designers?
saaame long time agoo..@@aronfischer8930

The rhythm of that logo is neat too because it feels like it goes in a circle but in a satisfying way

i get inspired when i watch your explaning of different design with the same brief ...incredible designs
I'd buy the first one.

Really like the last design, would love to see a daybreak APPLE 🍎 🍏 flavored version
Congrats to Alice for creating the only can I’d pick up off the shelf for a second look!
I love the first one in terms of beauty however I think the last one stuck to the brief better
Martin ftw! How did nobody discern the "Dune" typeface? Also gold reminds me of Midas. Martin has the Midas touch
The 4th logo is inspired from the movie dune .. same shape but in a good way
Was just about to say that

what makes the last design even cooler to me is the fact you could interpret the watch hands into the logo. all of these were great tho!
Martins look like you could make an animation where it turns from the crescent moon, to the sun and then the tea cup
Also on Rich’s design the Tea Time logo reads as hands on the clock. Very good designs overall. Martin’s is my favorite one, I can already see that one at the supermarket shelves.
My favorite one is the last one , and it’s plus hearing your accent while wearing that Brooklyn Shirt gives Zaddy Vibes 😍 !
💯
I'm really disappointed that you didn't see the clock hands in last logo
I'm stil in doubt did he see it or not. But the moment I realised it became favorite one.
Where is it?

The first one is the best. I wanna drink it already.

No.1 for me, I’d rip that one off the shelves in a heartbeat
Those are some great looking logos, very creative. I wonder how they would work for the Sn"apple" brand?
That was weird - I literally bit into an apple just as you said APPLE.
Super, Every design deserves praise👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Second Design was the best in my view ❤️
I liked all their concepts, but I was drawn to the first and last one the most. 🍎
the first one makes me think it says "Yea Time"
Loved them all! Think I would like to see an apple and cinnamon flavoured one 🫶
The last one was amazing just the problem is with fruits other than citrus, What would an apple look like?
Amazing. My favourite is also the last one
This Was an excellent project! All the submissions were top notch! It’s hard to pick a just one as my favorite! Apple! Lol.
Amazing logos! Though perhaps an APPLE flavor would be a cool idea.
All good design solutions. Last one the best though
'Will Paterson zooming 100x into your Design' doesn't exist, it can't hurt you
Those all had great apple designs and work well. Tough choice.

hi mate! me again. it was a briliant and inspiring video especially the very last part :) thank you for your effort ✌
What an amazing job these designers have done! I would have loved to have seen some apple tea cans! Maybe next time :)
This was really interesting for me, especially at this moment of my career. Thanks for sharing 🙏
The first one is awesome ✨✨
Those are the best videos for real I absolutely love them and it inspires me a lot thanks for this top tier content
Hi Will! I love your videos “I paid…”. Can you make a video with Greek typography? You make fonts in other languages?
τί λες τώρα;
I read it “no on” all the time
I liked the fact that you mentioned apple as the word for the day! I liked the first design - just sorry that it didn't have apple as a flavour! ;-)
I'd have done it with an illustration of a cup held by a hand with the pinky out...😂😂
I love Number 2 i really like it
I will for the first one with abit of tweets on the logo….
an apple a day keeps me away..
thank you will , i'm wondering how long to get approve in design bro? it's been 3 few days since i signing in to the website and still on the process
all Good! 1st 5th 2nd 4th and 3rd
its so amazing to see this, apples are great ;)
All designs are visully appealing
Nice vid. All the designs were amazing, especially the last one! Do you think an "apple" would look better on it? 🍎
I ❤ this series btw!
More to come :D
Love Rich's design, the clock hands composition of the logo is a nice touch!
Does this happen to be the same Alice that created the all custom Bonny’s Bounty? 😉
dancing apple!
It's teal.... APPLE
We need more reddit videos.

He did say to type “apple” right?

Can we have more time to look at the logos and less time on you? 😂 Sorry, I love you though
Great work 🍎
Thank you! Cheers!
No thank you@@willpatersondesign. You inspire me to continue my design work every single day. Even though I'm not sure I'll ever be as good as I want, I don't give up anymore.

Hi Will
These were really good designs 🎉👏🏾 and I could see myself drinking any one of these with a slice of apple pie.
Apple!

Prime has a really bad design. I dont think they even hired anyone maybe paid a middle school kid to make that🤣
