I'm 60 my husband has a genetic disease and had to quit working at 56. For the last 5 years we have lived on his disability because I cannot leave him home alone while I work. I thank God at every meal that I found a food bank to supplement my store purchases so I can make a balanced meal for us every day. June better pray she's never in our situation because eating that "I' pride doesn't provide any nutrition.

As a food bank volunteer I usually see many, many families who sincerely appreciate the extra help they receive . So many regulars that are genuine & appreciate all. I have been on a break post surgery & very much look forward to seeing those clients soon. As a tax payer since my 1st job @ age 16 I am grateful to be involved in seeing how those $ help fund many programs. It’s simple. Don’t like what you see, change the program💁🏼♀️. I enjoy seeing all the things you use your hauls making. It’s inspiring & I do pass on ideas to clients who ask about ingredients they aren’t familiar with. Kindness has always been free! I’ve had a few trying experiences with some who seem less appreciative shall we say. Power of positive thinking! Don’t let anyone make you feel less than. I actually sorry for who left these Negative( from a hate filled heart) and uneducated nasty comments. I will continue to be a positive viewer & support your fellowship. That’s what your channel is ; inspiring to others who ARE grateful & enjoy the time you take sharing with us! Shame on anyone who so blinded by negative they try to dim your light. I need to say I LOVE your "if you can't say something nice" videos. because the junes of the world leave comments like that on almost every content creator who is just trying to live their lives while struggling to make ends meet. and with the current prices of everything those ends are meeting less and less the world over.
I work with people in poverty. When I start working with them they are homeless. I help them become housed and help them with stability. While they are working on this they need HELP. It's not begging and there is nothing wrong with needing a helping hand. What I find astonishing about this person's comment is that she stated the food came from a dumpster. In what world is it OK for any human to eat food like that? She was more concerned about what she could do for herself and had zero empathy for people who may have less than her. I do have a feeling they may have less money than her but they sure as heck have more class than she does.
This type of stuff breaks my heart in general because if you hadn't addressed it I'm afraid of the fact that someone is out there that is/was on the fence about seeking the help for their family may not have the courage to do so now. 😢 Please if you are reading this and you are struggling to make ends meet go! Reach out and know that there's absolutely nothing wrong with accepting the "help" because at the end of the day you are the only one that knows just how much you may need this extra boost at the moment. Food is a human right. You're beautiful my friend inside and out. I love you and i love this channel so very much. We are definitely family and will stick together through thick and thin! I will defend and stand up for every one of my family members. We will definitely survive because we have the food bank and the good sence to seek the help "hand up" needed to feed our families.

10/16 11:07pm. I have missed you. Just got power back...7 days. Hurricane milton...as food thawed we cooked outside...fed the unprepared neighbors 2 meals a day. I still lost a lot . But my house is standing. People are begging for food and gas even water. I'm so sorry June Jane jill jackie acted an ass toward you and your channel. At 78 you are still teaching me ways to save. I'm using a friends phone....this is Virginia in Florida. Please keep doing what you do....love your new blouse ...pretty lady.
