I go to 3 or 4 foodbanks every week I can. I don't need it, I am a 70+ woman with means but I have family and friends who need it. Some are busy raisinf family some are in poor health and many are underpaid. I have the time to help them and feel no shame in helping others
I think videos like yours and those of Carolina Baird are a service. You encourage people to access services that are available to everyone. You show the kinds and quantities of food that is received and then demonstrate ways to make the best use of it. Wishing you a great 2025. Keep on doing what you do.

People that showed their food bank hauls are the reason we go to the food bank. I saw MamaBaird and everything clicked. I watch many creators now. It so helps to see what others do with what they are given. What we can't use or store is passed on to others in our apartment building. Keep doing what you are doing! Love ya!

I am really glad you can use the food pantry to care for your elderly grandma. We are on SS and know things can get really tight. Health issues can really cause financial hardship with the prescriptions and copays. I am not aware of any foodbanks in our area other than a little food box at local church put up by BSA Eagle Project. (Like a free library box.)

Also, if you get food from the bank you can make recipes and share with your neighbors. Keep doing you, I don't get some people. I have never understood why someone would watch food bank content and then complain about the person making the content. Would they watch the nightly news and then call and complain to the tv station that the anchor shouldn’t be standing while reading the news?!? It makes no sense! Jessica has clearly missed the fact that food banks lose out on funding and support if people don’t go. I grew up going to food banks, I had to rely on them for the majority of my 20s. The ones near me have income limits but I wish they would do a ‘come give a donation and get stuff’ because I know they end up having to toss a lot. I’d be able to help the food waste and they’d get cash to use however they see fit. I work 2 jobs and haven’t had the capacity to look into volunteering or dropping off a donation but that’s gonna be a priority this year.
Does Susan not realize that some people who benefit from juicing can't digest roughich but can receive the vitamins and such from juice? Like grandma? I love Grandma, so she needs to back off.
