- Today's thrift flip is perfect for this season- easy to make and easy, breezy to wear! :) First, we'll find an oversized t-shirt at the thrift store. (Mine had a cute strawberry design!🍓) Then, we'll sew some coordinating knit fabric to the t-shirt to turn it into a dress! This thrift flip is a great way to stretch your creative muscles and give second hand T's a new life. It's also totally customizable to your style. Make a midi or a mini dress. Make it cute, make it edgy. I'm just getting into upcycling clothes for myself. As a super plus sized woman, it's hard to find cute clothes. I love watching vids and getting new ideas. I have a really simple shirt pattern from Simplicity that is just 2 pieces, front and back. Put them together and sew it up! easy peasy! I'm learning to take upcycled fabrics and make a plain solid knit shirt into something cute and way more interesting.
I also have an apron fetish lol, I love aprons! I really love prairie style clothes and aprons.
