#creality #VFA #K1C
Thank you for your @Noizie Works interview invitation. As William mentioned, we worked on both the firmware and slicer to address issues with earlier K1 printers. If you're still experiencing any printing issues, feel free to reach out to our after-service team for assistance. We = can provide guidance on fixing the machine, replacing parts, or other solutions that will definitely make you satisfied.
That's great to hear Creality! There is a firmware that dropped today, will do some testing and make a update on it.
So a new motion system for everyone who bought and will buy a K1 now for Christmas, how are you going to solve it!
Does K1C perhaps stand for color? I love creality but need a multicolor filament option
I Love my K1 Max printer, was planning for the bambu lab, but desided for the k1 max becouse of the 300x300x300mm bed size and it was the right pick, after som 100 of hours printing its still working 100% out of the box
For the price and performance it's a nice workhorse for sure! The max didn't have the early speedy problems that you hear about.
The V3 KE has the same VFA problem below 180mm/s. 99% sure it's the stepper motors. I'm going to try some different motors to see if it goes away. I don't think they can fix this with firmware/slicer aside from avoiding the worst of the speeds.
Keep me updated
Wish I would have seen this video before I ordered mine! I print mostly function parts, so things with long, straight walls. The VFA is AWFUL on this printer, if i sold parts I couldn't ship these. I've been researching if there is a way to tune it out and there doesnt appear to be unless you rebuild the gantry system. I also think Creality knew this and shipped them anyway because the input shapers are mirrored on the X and Y axes. Almost want to send it back but I may keep it.
Whole lot of nothing...
What ? He said enough in my opinion
My god, I am so tired of Creality. I'm going to sell this K1 Max and buy whatever the next big bambu machine is, so tired of them releasing broken hardware and then "fixing it" by releasing a new one and saying screw existing customers. The ringing/VFA on my K1 Max is so unbearable I can't even use it for customers parts, they're just unbelievably bad.
Sadly can't say that you're wrong...
If they dont give us a Upgrade Kit for the k1/max i will leave creality forever.
I mean a 1000€ printer (k1max) with such issues....!
My feeling is they won't as it works good at high speed
@@NoizieWorks My K1 have VFA at any Speed
@InnokentyPro check belt tension and maybe loosen it a bit other then that you are sh*t out of luck and better off returning it
Switched over to Bambu , x1c - best desission ever.
@Teleon19 unfortunately for creality it's a very logical solution altough i find Qidi to be a very compelling choice to
My k1 max has terrible ringing.
K1C...X1C...carbon/camera/hepa filter...do you see any similarities?😅
Well... if you put it like that i mean...😆
Haha he truly answered nothing
K1C?!? Hope this isn't going to be another Ender with like a dozen different variants.
As long as there are significant updates on it i'm ok with it but knowing crealitys history 🤷♂️
…I’m almost 101% sure that K1 cannot be upgraded to K1C. Need to buy completely new printer if want to upgrade.
I watched as others replaced belts, idlers, motors, rods, bushings, and finally replaced XY with linear rails. No one step magic fix but the mechanical issues along with a controller that chokes on Cartigrapher made mine a pet rock.
@@airheadbit1984 definitely NOT software
They never did fix the VFA issue on the k1 as promised.
@@ricktm79 unfortunately not...
On low speeds it has massive VFA and on high speeds which are VFA free you have massive ringing. 20-30% vibration in input shaper on X, it's really bad. y is fine belts are not square, motors need upgrade too much vibration. they need a upgrade kit and a fixed version. currently my bedslinger with linear rails has much better quality but slower...
Yeah, we will see what there k1c brings for upgrades. This is the new ender of the core xy 🙈
if you print anything round on my k1 max 100-300 mm/s the vfa's are noticable enough it's sickening. my x1c on the other hand prints at the same speeds with none. Odd don't you think pictures of what everyone is complaining about looks exactly like what i'm experiencing. Basically k1max paper weight as the prints look like poo
Apparently the k1c fixed most issues so the max users are out of luck right now
Somehow marketing didn't think anything of it, right?
The 3D printer with Bayern Munich stickers / matching colors...in Frankfurt! They could have used Frankfurt as an example instead of a club that is not welcome there. Hard times for Creality I guess 😁
Is it just a software issue or do we have a hardware problem? What is your opinion?
He said they have upgraded the motion system on the K1C. It seems like they've discovered a hardware issue on existing models. I have wondered whether the teeth on the belts are causing some issue as they roll over the smooth pulleys by slightly displacing the tool head.
@@Mithrandir69 yup, we will probably see some difference between the 2 models. Guess we will have to wait and see.
@NoizieWorks I took another chance on Creality with the K1 Max. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to fix this machine to get a decent print out of it.
@@Mithrandir69 the extruder and hotend on these are the "good" type. Motion system is the same so i think the experience will be the same as the speedy. To be honest, i only do fast prints and if you push it a bit there is absolutly no problem with print quality.
It's more on slow prints 50-150mm/s that give some artifacting so right now my advice is to do a speed test and look when vfa starts to get bad and avoid these speeds.
@NoizieWorks fast prints are good for me as well, when it works. Having a hell of a time getting a good mesh with Klipper. But I also want it to print petg and tpu reliably, and you just can't print those materials quickly.
I wish to God creality would simply slow down and stop cutting so many corners.
*What about Klipper and the GPLv3 license issue?*
Hopefully they fix the warped bed issues on the K1C. The last thing I want to do is mod design flaws.
So it happens at 100ms speeds but not 200+ speeds?
In my case everything under 200 has artifacting, everything above looks great
Thank you
I'm between K1 max and X1C now, i wish Creality aftersale services is just like Bambu Lab. I guess i'm gonna wait for K1C and reads what the user feedback. 😅
So you don't trust them? 😅 yeah i would wait a bit to
I have a K1, an Ender 5 S1 with a Sonic Pad and a Saturn 3 Ultra, if I had to do it over again I would go with Bamboo and just bite the bullet on the price with an AMS.
@@simplesimon4561 yes i would go Bambu too. But the K1 Max bed size is holding me. I need the bed size, but with all the goodies of Bambu. 🤤
@@skelethornbro What about the Ender 5 Plus, you ever check that one out? Huge build area way bigger than the K1 Max. Obviously it's not an apple to apples comparison but you could probably get 2 of them for the same price as the K1 Max. Just a thought
@@simplesimon4561 of course if i only consider bed size but that will be downgraded most of the feature of K1 Max or X1C imo. I just learned that X1C (maybe other bambu printers too) also can skip objects while printing and that is the +1 feature that is useful for me if some print is failing. I need to dig more of those two models...
But in short, creality assumed that its machine has chronic problems and instead of fixing it out of respect for everyone who bought it, it will launch a new "corrected" version, I don't know about you but it's already worked out for me, I'll never buy it again.
First let's see what the difference is cause i'm not even sure they are going to fix it with the k1c.
You say it like they were good at releasing new products... They will release a new version with a few correction and 10 new problems.
At the speed this thing prints, combined with all the different materials, varied environmental conditions, getting the print surface to be absolutely Vertical Fine Artefact (VFA) free must be a nightmare! Do any of the competing printers have VFA completely eliminated?
No, bambu and prusa also have some vfa but it's real bad on the k1 at 100mm/s like allmost unusable prints that need a lot of sanding.
@@NoizieWorks and how is it at the usual 200/250mm/s?
@@robc3863 a lot better but on flat surfaces you can still see it.
@@NoizieWorks So why do they ship a defective product, I don't believe they didn't notice? I guess for the price this sells at no western company would churn these out, so we pay for what we get! Maybe strapping the machine down to a concrete block would help haha, are they going to be able to improve this I wonder!
@@robc3863 they will by selling another one like the k1c and let you pay for the "upgrades" imo it's probably a combination of cheap motors and motion system so basicly everything needs work 🤷♂️ the fact they sell the max with only 1 connecting rod for the y movement is already a sign of cost cutting. Belts running over smooth idlers is another one cause belts are not meant to run on smooth stuff at the teeth side. That said, 350$ for a core xy that works fairly good at high speeds is still a steal imo
I agree a big nothing burger also I'm not a fan of how they talked about all the ways this wouldn't be a problem on the new printer they are launching in December but had almost nothing to say for their existing K1 and K1 Max owners
Looking at the big price drops it's also not doing that well by the looks of it... I would be surprised if the k1c would be any better tbh
@@NoizieWorks Yeah I've actually spent more on my Ender 5 S1 which I bought back in July than the K1 I got a month ago. I can get a K1 for $350 and a K1 Max for $650 at Microcenter in the US right now and those seem like great prices compared to the Ender 5 S1 which after all the accessories probably cost me close to $700+, but now with Bamboo releasing the P1S for $699 the K1 Max is a harder sell
Goed geprobeert yves xD
😅
my k1 max is in the post so when I heard about the K1C I though OMG they have one with colour now.....Nooooo....But then I found out its a camera......Seems to be going in the way of the ender 3....Minimal additions and call it the new and improved and you can purchase the camera for £30 anyway so hardly warrants a new version.
Hoping Bambu labs have a good sale soon and depending on the price I might get a colour printer.
As long as creality prices the K series right it can be a good deal and the community will probably fix the printer for them like with the enders.
good luck on the closed source bambu and improving it and modding it. oh wait. you can't.
@@riskinhos They are both fine. The k1max beats it in the bed adhesion but has suffered from constant extruder jams, meaning disassembly and fixing (and printing extras like the top riser). The P1S had an initial AMS feeding problem but nothing since. They have also just teamed up with E3D to produce some upgrades but for me, I don't really need any upgrades at the moment as the machine works fine. Yet Creality have no upgrade on the constant sh***y extruder and we are on version 3 or 5 at the moment.
@@riskinhos What sort or mods are you talking about?
@mrfoameruk that's unlucky! The latest version seems to be working fine for most.
*K1 = Klone 1* isn´t it???
🤫🤫
Klone 1 more Clone
K1C C=corrected?
he said C for carbon or camera so basicly the K1 max without lidar
@@NoizieWorks yeah I heard, was just kidding due to the initial issues. Why does the addition of the AI camera eliminate Lidar?
@@whizzardno1 ah ok 😅 as far as i know the Ai camera only is used to see if a print fails(spaghetti) the lidar "should" calibrate the flow but from what i hear it doesn't work that well.
Never recommand such a brand, which never thought about innovating, only copy and assemble garbage printers.
And yet, they are very popular
@@NoizieWorks popular doesn't mean good right?
Ah man and I just bought a k1 max and hadn’t heard anything about this prior!!! 😡
Not a lot of "real" reviews on it but the trick is speed!
@@NoizieWorks I’m guessing tpu will not work well. What other filaments will be problematic?
@@dobyrne8565 all filaments run great it's just the low speed vibration being a problem
@@NoizieWorks in the video they say that can improve with firmware updates is there any other updates/upgrades that are out there? I’m brand new to 3d printing and this will be my first printer!! Thanks
LOL -- just placed an order for a K1 Max last night......ah well.
I ordered my Printer on the 27 nov. Today is 1 december. They didn‘t ship it away. Very poor customer service!!!
Seems to be hit or miss as i hear a lot of good to... To bad for you buddy! Have you tried facebook?
"Are you going to send me one?". 🤮🤧🤬
Dude it's a joke they are obviously NOT going to do that in fact they never answered any of my reach outs before and after i had the interview. Just wanted to see the look on his face.
I heard K1C = adding K1 Max features to K1. Anything else?
He mentioned that the motion system has a few changes like the extruder so basicly a smaller k1 max with some updates? Let's hope it fixes things and they are easy to swap over to the first batches
He said what are the differences.
Whats with a AMS system ?🥲
Bambu has 1
@@NoizieWorks i mean for the k1/max 🫠
Nothing is known about this yet, but I have heard that the Co Print ChromaSet is compatible with the K1 and the K1 Max.
