Good video I enjoy watching your project. I'm rebuilding a Coleman camper myself very relatable wish I could post a picture here but I don't know how.

When it is done are you able to pull it no problem?

We we're given an 88 coleman shenandoah. It was a total rebuild so we're doing the same. I'd love to chat if you have any helpful advice for newbies. We're keeping the original base and keeping one of the slides.

A couple helpful hints, look behind the walls and make sure there is enough support. We wanted to originally keep the sides that were there, but there was not much to work with underneath. I am not that worried about weight on this build, so I am using alot of 2x4's but if weight is an issue stick with stronger plywood and 1x1's if you can get them. We gutted ours down because there just was not enough support to build everything on top, and it actually was better because of all the damage on the floors. One major thing I can say, is double check as you build that everything is completely square. We saved the old door opening on ours, one side is completely square, the other where the door is bows in alittle bit. I will probably cover that in another video. But basically the door opening is deceiving, when I built it, I put the studs in probably half an inch too far in, so that side is not perfectly flat. For what I need, it doesn't matter, just annoys me. :) Also, level the camper as best as you can when you start your build.

We are lucky that the previous owner redid the floors with marine grade wood. As for the sides everything so far is square and strong. I think we're going with aluminum studs as apposed to wood to save on weight. My husband is a mechanic and has experience in building and roofing and my dad's an engineer. Hopefully all together we will end up with a great camper. Can't wait to watch more of your videos!

Hi, is this something you can go on the road with? Have you had any trouble if so (getting pulled over or stuff breaking inside/outside)?
Reason why I'm asking, it's because I would like to remodel my 92 jayco..but the tent I don't feel safe with.
Was party pooped half way into my plan, being told that I won't be able to drive with it..if it's not flat down? Because it would be registered as a popup camper. ':(
Thank you so much in advance :)
Great video. Thank you for the share.
