This worked perfectly for my artwork portfolio website. I have been wanting the ability to turn paintings on and off without having to delete them and then subsequently re-enter all the info. Thank you so much!
This is great! I’ve been just hiding portfolio items with code, but that obviously doesn’t address the pagination issue so I just hit that completely. Thanks for sharing! And you’re right, it’s so crazy that SS has never added this functionality.
I know! I really hope this is at least on their radar. It is such a glaring issue. This should do a good job of getting us through until they finally implement it though!
Hei Chris - thanks so much for that brilliant solution! But is there an option that my client can doublecheck the the case in draft mode, before i release it for everybody? Linke a preview link? Thanks so much - greetings Markus
Chris this looks awesome! Unfortunately, it's not working for me. Adding it hides all the thumbnails on my portfolio page unless I'm in edit mode and items aren't actually converting to drafts (hidden). I'm not sure what's going wrong but would love to add this!
Hi Chris! I also cannot believe Squarespace doesn't have this feature built in. I have just copied your code and it hides the draft item from the portfolio page but does not hide it in the pagination. Has anything changed since you first published the code?
Bless you for this. A real life saver right now.
I'm so glad to hear it!
You're a godsend. it's very neglectful that square space hasnt done this themselves. Absolutely ridiculous. but thankyou!!!
You are welcome!! I know I hope they add this feature soon!
This is really great. Thank you !!! 🤩
No problem! If you have any trouble with the code try adding it again. I have made a slight update on the blog post.

Incredible! What a great tool for all of us thanks Chris!
Thanks! And no problem Jai!

YESSSS! This is a game changer.
I love to hear that! I hope it helps!
Brilliant!
Thank you Carl!
Yes, it’s amazing that they don’t have a draft feature in Squarespace. It would also be nice if you could drag pagess from one portfolio to another
Totally agree!

Unfortunately not, they would have to be logged in to the editor so they can see the draft post.
@@SEWebDesign okay got it - thanks for your answer

Hi Kristine, can you send me an email with the link to your site? I will take a look!
@@SEWebDesign Will do!

I replied to your comment on the blog post as well, but please send me an email with the link to your site
It looks like I need to upgrade my plan to access the page header code injection. Is there a way to do this without upgrading my current plan?
I don’t think so. Since it uses JavaScript you will need the business plan or higher
@@SEWebDesign Thank you very much.
