A cool detail on week 6 is how you notice spirit taking over the AI as you go down through the songs. For the 1st song, Senpai's main sprite and portrait are looking at the screen, and not at boyfriend. Since they are in a dating simulator, Senpai and the girls in the back are looking at the screen since that would be where the player of the game is. However in the 2nd song, spirit slowly starts to take over the Senpai AI. Before the start of "Roses" Senpai breaks character. He gets mad and looks directly at boyfriend in both his portrait and main sprite, which is something he is not normally supposed to do. So do the girls in the background, as they kind of have an upset look, and seem to be somewhat starring at boyfriend. And for the final song, when he breaks out of the Senpai AI character, his focus is directly on boyfriend as now he can fully do what he wants, and not be restrained by being trapped in an AI character.

Here’s some lore for the Spooky kids! Week two is supposed to take place after week 4, the reason for that is because as you said, they are at Girlfriends house after getting accepted by the family. But they still play cruel tricks on him. The reason they are at Girlfriends house is because it’s Halloween and they’re giving out candy, the Spooky Kids come to their house but not for candy. They said that “someone” told them that if they get the Girlfriend as their treat then they’ll get a special reward. That someone being the monster. But after Boyfriend and Girlfriend explain to them that they got tricked they instead had a rap battle with them! So the monster came to their house to get the Girlfriend himself after the Spooky Kids never coming back to him. That’s all the lore for Week 2 for now!

Week 7’s lore was revealed by Phantom himself on his recent stream. He says that there is suppose to be another week that explains why they’re at the military base. the Dad gives BF and GF airplane tickets to go on a vacation. The airplane ends up crashing and they both fall into a “desert”. I could only assume the desert is in Nevada and that specific week is when we fight Hank from Madness Combat, then after that, week 7 happens.

I like to think that the spirit in week 6 mistook girlfriend as the mom with the very little difference in clothing and Tankman stating that bf is simping over a girl wearing her mom’s clothes and I took that as gf literally wearing her mom’s clothes when the mom was her age.
For Skid and Pump in lore, Monster got them to capture gf by telling them that she's made out of candy and I'm not sure if this is cannon but cuz on a KawaiSprite art stream I believe that Spirit has been in the game for 15 years
3 months late but Red Snow is also a line from the week’s 3rd song Winter Horrorland, specifically “See your bones appear in dark *red snow* , drop further below”
"Pico actually STOPS a school shooting from taking place." Well... yes and no. Pico does stop the shooter but he also has the option to shoot at least two innocent people. (One of them asked him to do it, but the other was just some rando in the bathroom.) His body count from _Pico's School_ alone is anywhere from 2 to 6, with Hanzou and Cassandra being unavoidable casualties. The ending also shows that he is still armed and ready to do it all again. Pico isn't the archetypal "good guy with a gun". More like "anti-hero with a gun". Or "little shit with a gun". So Tank Man's comment isn't an _unfair_ assessment. I say all of this with love, of course.
To all the people who develop Friday Night Funkin': I have a good idea. Using a lot of the unused "attack" sprites, you could add a new button to the main menu, a battle mode. Upon choosing that option, you would be brought to a week selection screen, sorta. It's kinda like the week selection, but instead of saying week 1, week 2, week 3, et cetera, it says the name of the opponent. There would be no track display thing on the left. Upon choosing the opponent and difficulty setting, you would be brought into a street-fighter-style simulator, but in 2d. You can also use the bar and the icons for the health meter. Although, you would have to make a defeat animation for when the opponent is defeated. It's just an idea I have. You really don't need to program it into the game. Also, is Cassandra canonically related to girlfriend, daddy dearest, and mommy mearest?
For Skid and Pump week, I would say it's just how they do. In Sr Pelo Spooky Month episodes, they just go place to place randomly (creepy alley with a clown, teenager girl room, etc) and do random things. So they probably went into the same house as GF and BF and were like "It's Spooky Month! Let's Spooky rap!"
Monster sent Skid and Pump to defeat Boyfriend. As Skid and and Pump are children, they are very gullible. Monster told them that Girlfriend was made of Candy and could eat her if they got rid of Boyfriend. Skid and Pump accepted and tried to defeat Boyfriend in a battle but lost twice. Monster got annoyed and took over for the last song but was glitchy, but luckily got fixed whilst week 7 was being made.
Fun(? Fact: On Reddit, ninjamuffin99 confirmed that Santa being held hostage in Week 5 is dead. Monster probably murdered him judging the fact that he wears a Christmas hat pretty similar to Santa's (for not saying the same)

But they still play cruel tricks on him. The reason they are at Girlfriends house is because it’s Halloween and they’re giving out candy, the Spooky Kids come to their house but not for candy. They said that “someone” told them that if they get the Girlfriend as their treat then they’ll get a special reward. That someone being the monster. But after Boyfriend and Girlfriend explain to them that they got tricked they instead had a rap battle with them! So the monster came to their house to get the Girlfriend himself after the Spooky Kids never coming back to him. That’s all the lore for Week 2 for now!

Week 7’s lore was revealed by Phantom himself on his recent stream. He says that there is suppose to be another week that explains why they’re at the military base. the Dad gives BF and GF airplane tickets to go on a vacation. The airplane ends up crashing and they both fall into a “desert”. I could only assume the desert is in Nevada and that specific week is when we fight Hank from Madness Combat, then after that, week 7 happens.
I've seen all sorts of meme of people making a fuss about "Steve" getting shot by Pico, when it's much more likely that the real Steve is the one driving the tank in the background

I noticed something, the normal game over screen only shows Boyfriend's skeleton, clothes and balls in x-ray, but the week 7 game over screens shows Girlfriend's skeleton, clothes AND hair, the hair of Boyfriend doesn't show up in any game over screen, which means that Girlfriend may actually wear a wig to hide her horns instead of having natural hair to hide them

Well... yes and no. Pico does stop the shooter but he also has the option to shoot at least two innocent people. (One of them asked him to do it, but the other was just some rando in the bathroom.) His body count from _Pico's School_ alone is anywhere from 2 to 6, with Hanzou and Cassandra being unavoidable casualties. The ending also shows that he is still armed and ready to do it all again. Pico isn't the archetypal "good guy with a gun". More like "anti-hero with a gun". Or "little shit with a gun". So Tank Man's comment isn't an _unfair_ assessment.

To all the people who develop Friday Night Funkin': I have a good idea. Using a lot of the unused "attack" sprites, you could add a new button to the main menu, a battle mode. Upon choosing that option, you would be brought to a week selection screen, sorta. It's kinda like the week selection, but instead of saying week 1, week 2, week 3, et cetera, it says the name of the opponent. There would be no track display thing on the left. Upon choosing the opponent and difficulty setting, you would be brought into a street-fighter-style simulator, but in 2d. You can also use the bar and the icons for the health meter. Although, you would have to make a defeat animation for when the opponent is defeated. It's just an idea I have. You really don't need to program it into the game. Also, is Cassandra canonically related to girlfriend, daddy dearest, and mommy mearest?

In Sr Pelo Spooky Month episodes, they just go place to place randomly (creepy alley with a clown, teenager girl room, etc) and do random things. Monster sent Skid and Pump to defeat Boyfriend. As Skid and and Pump are children, they are very gullible. Monster told them that Girlfriend was made of Candy and could eat her if they got rid of Boyfriend. Skid and Pump accepted and tried to defeat Boyfriend in a battle but lost twice. Monster got annoyed and took over for the last song but was glitchy, but luckily got fixed whilst week 7 was being made.
