45 minutes 44 seconds in and the chain link fence goes down with Chris, and then he does a backward Summersault and doesn't miss a beat in the song- that moment was epic and it made me laugh. Thanks from another space in time, Chris, Soundgarden, and people at the concert. Love u.
My first time seeing SG. What a day! Showed up with no ticket, ran into a buddy outside that had an extra, got through the gate and the band started. I ran along the left side perimeter of the crowd, next to the blackberry bushes and managed to get a decent spot fairly close to the stage. Stayed there until Ice Cube came out then wandered back to see the Jim Rose Circus Sideshow. Watched the closers RHCP from the back so I didn't have to deal with the mob leaving.
I saw the Cleveland stop of this tour at Blossom Music Center. Lush was off the tour for some reason so The Cranberries opened. I know a lot of people love Dolores O'Riordan, but my friends and I had dropped a couple hits of acid and her voice was nails on a chalkboard. Anyway, just as Pearl Jam was taking the stage it started to pour, and a bunch of us on the lawn rushed the pavilion. By the time Evenflow started my friends and I were past the security guys and down in the mosh pit. We stayed there for the rest of the PJ set. Then Soundgarden came out. Absolutely one of the most epic performances I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of shows in my 55 years. The rawness and the energy was like nothing I've ever seen. Pure talent and love of their work. There will never be another like Soundgarden.

Thanks for the good memories! Craziest mosh pit I've ever seen--it steamed all day and into the night like a boiling fumarole of patchouli and sweat, people squeezing up and over each other like slippery watermelon seeds. During Red Hot Chili Peppers show that night, I fell over the front line and a security guard picked me up by the belt and threw me back into the hands of the crowd. Wish I could find footage of that, too. What a day!

@@DylanHutto Yeah it was driving me nuts trying to figure that out too, so I did some research and it looks like theres a big empty field north of the Pavillion where they had the concert. If you look up a map of the fairgrounds its referred to as the "lower bowl".
@@jrcrash4644 okay, figured it out, it's behind the Pavilion. The only place I found referring it to the Lower Bowl was a Facebook post from Kitsap County Parks pawning off free manure 😂 Idk why this was such a mystery for me for so long but we figured it out lol
This live show kicks ass!!! This brings me back to when music was played live, and no cell phones....and we actually listened to the music and had an f’n blast. Chris Cornell sounded the best I’ve ever heard him, and Jesus Christ Pose made my jaw drop. There will never be another Soundgarden, just happy I was alive when there was. Rest easy Chris! 🙏
They were pretty good then bc they were touring blood sugar sex majic. That's a masterpiece and when it came out blew everyone away. But that was it for them hard to believe been almost 30 years since last good album and they still have a big fan base.
@@jeffwolfe4058 well with Californiacation, by the way, and stadium arcadium it found appreciation with fans and then one hot minute is a thing... but no one speaks of that

What happened to all the beautiful lady's, the used to be everywhere. Only blue haired land manatees, wtf?? I'll say it again they were everywhere , at the store, on the way to the store, schools, offices, beach etc. All could enjoy the view, old young and in-between. What happened???
Whoever posted this, awesome! I was there with my father I was in 2nd grade! I still remember this day, we lived right up the street....thanks for sharing
Such a cold, wet day that day. A perfect PNW day for those of us that were there. Ministry played after Soundgarden, and opened with a Sabbath cover, "Supernaut" - it was the single loudest, crunchiest yet clear thing I've ever heard come off a stage.
Orlando. This set. 300 mics of pure LSD hurricane Andrew just off the coast of Miami and the uniquely creepy "calm before the storm" overcast skies Magical
God, I WAS THERE. I can't even describe the energy of that day. It had been raining. Shitty Pacific northwest summer weather. The pit was pure fucking MUD! L7 opened, Pearl Jam came on and opened with Even Flow and the crowd got DANGEROUS! A mad rush toward the stage and people were falling and getting hurt. I was close to the front and it was terrifying and exhilarating all at once! You had to lock arms with whoever you were with or they were getting carried away by the crowd. I've literally never experienced anything like it to this very day and I've been to hundreds of shows. Chris came on with that raincoat it was so fucking epic! The raw energy of these guys was CRAZY. It was such a fun thing to be a part of as a Seattle kid. I also recall the pit was pure death for Ministry, haha. We watched from the hill and smoked some bud. The Jim Rose Circus Sideshow was there too. (All you Gen-X Seattle kids remember...) RHCP were pure fire as well.We drove alongside their bus on the way out of the show, trying to get Flea's attention. God, those were the days! I still have my ticket.
I was too. And was holding my own in the pit until 10seconds in for Ministry. The swarm hit, everyone up front was pushed, I hit the ground and was getting trampled. My throat was slashed (not like dieing lol) but I will never forget being pulled up and felt like I was tossed in the air. Next thing I was on right side of stage going down steps while security was making sure I was ok. It was a birthday ticket. One of the best days of my teen years. I think I had just as much fun walking home that night. 😂
Matt Cameron = pure animal! Went to Loolapalooza '92 Miami - Soundgarden was definitely the highlight of the show. After all day in the south Florida sun, I did not even stay for all of the Chili Peppers' set once Soundgarden was over. BTW - it was just 2 days before Hurricane Andrew had no idea it was coming until the day after the show. By then only had 12 hours to prep.
I bought this at a record store in Tampa umpteen years ago without knowing its origins or what the quality would be like. Up until this description, I didn't even know it was in Bremerton and I've watched the tape many, many times. This contains my all-time favorite rendition of "Ugly Truth", among other moments and songs. I got to see Chris in his solo days from about 6 feet away in Koln, Germany, in a tiny venue where his voice soared effortlessly. He looked kind of unhealthy but I was mesmerized for the entire time. It was like seeing my personal god for the first time. I was in his thrall for the entire show and couldn't stop watching him. What a talent. After the show, I could've waited around--that's how small this venue was--but I was too afraid to face him so we left. I wish I had seen Soundgarden and gotten to tell this man just how much his music meant to me throughout my life.

The only place I found referring it to the Lower Bowl was a Facebook post from Kitsap County Parks pawning off free manure 😂
Idk why this was such a mystery for me for so long but we figured it out lol
This live show kicks ass!!! This brings me back to when music was played live, and no cell phones....and we actually listened to the music and had an f’n blast. Chris Cornell sounded the best I’ve ever heard him, and Jesus Christ Pose made my jaw drop. There will never be another Soundgarden, just happy I was alive when there was. Rest easy Chris! 🙏
i forgot this is before they were household names, superunknown hadn't come out yet
Was there,Ministry and Red Hot chilli Pepers and pearl Jam were great too.
They were pretty good then bc they were touring blood sugar sex majic. That's a masterpiece and when it came out blew everyone away. But that was it for them hard to believe been almost 30 years since last good album and they still have a big fan base.
@@jeffwolfe4058 well with Californiacation, by the way, and stadium arcadium it found appreciation with fans and then one hot minute is a thing... but no one speaks of that
I was at this show. I'll never forget it.
Me too. I still have the audio cassette that gave out at the gate that features the performers.
Chris’ style of standing infront of a mic with a guitar will never not be iconic
I was at this show! 15 years old. I'll never forget the power of the crowd.... So happy this is on RUclips!!!!
the bass player great stage presence!!......and sounds fantastic!!
Great show, in their prime, home where it all started
The best of Matt Cameron
I’m so thankful that in 1992 someone was able to find a camera to record and preserve this this important music history!!! ❤❤❤
That version of Ugly truth is the greatest ever. So spontaneous yet mastered at the same time. Guitar and vocals are at their peaks.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes!
this rules. you people who went are so lucky!!
I know ill never ever ever forget it. I died when soundgarden and pearl jam got on stage together and busted out Temple of the Dog
That’s what I call a proper crowd!
I saw them at Lollapalooza back in 92. It was an experience. I was 17 and it was a great time for music!
awesome show Just randomly skipped to 10:18 for Outshined and Chris mentioned thanksgiving. We miss you man. Happy thanksgiving to all.
Thank you for sharing this. I never got to see SG in the 90's, just saw them for the first time this summer. I should have bribed a babysitter with more money back then!
This is truly Epic.
Hey man, come to Chris Cornell Fanclub. I love Chris.
Yes I WILL take a time machine to go back there.
So necessary is/was Matt Cameron, excellent rock solid drummer
Was matt on a break from pearl jam?
@@Runaddict1167 😁
I went to this concert....lived in Bremerton for years...
This was peak Cornell vocally, his prowess was through the sky wow!
I miss the days when there was natural talent in music and no cell phones at concerts!! Im 43yo and im so happy the age im at!! I would hate to be 20 in today's world in 2020! Great concert!!
What happened to all the beautiful lady's, the used to be everywhere. Only blue haired land manatees, wtf?? I'll say it again they were everywhere , at the store, on the way to the store, schools, offices, beach etc. All could enjoy the view, old young and in-between. What happened???
I can't get enough of Chris Cornell!!! LOUD LOVE to all my friends
Chris Cornell Fanclub, come join us.
There are few things more primal than this.
this is as good as it gets
When I think of the good ol' days, this is pretyt much it
Thank you i loved this show brought me back
Whoever posted this, awesome!
Im hearing this music again
Right fucking now
Thanks Chris, Kim, Ben, Matt, n Eddie
Rest in peace Chris Cornell no one sings like you anymore
One of my favorite Soundgarden videos. Awesome performance.
I was stationed in Bremerton in the early 80s while in the Navy, bet there were a few sailors in the crowd.
This is and will always be the best concert I ever attended.
I saw this lalapalooza in Pittsburgh, 18 days later I would be in bootcamp. Couple months later I would be on my ship in Bremerton wa.
This is the Soundgarden I was turned onto at 15, so damn heavy RIP Chris
all this is now history. Such things could not last long. It's over now. We gotta deal with it and consider ourselves lucky.
Orlando.
This set.
300 mics of pure LSD
hurricane Andrew just off the coast of Miami and the uniquely creepy "calm before the storm" overcast skies
Magical
what went down?
It’s hard for me to imagine something this cool happening in Bremerton haha
⚡️RAW POWER⚡️ one of my all time favorite performances.
Best Concert EVER!!!
Where exactly was this in Bremerton? I was there for 2 years in the Navy 97 to 99 but I never recall any concerts ever there.
42:00 finaly found this part my faborite part of my faborite bass ❤ ben shaperd is the best
End of Rusty Cage is dope.
To do Rusty Cage live with that break and NOT fuck it up means you are tight.
Will be forever missed.
