    A degree in history is reading and writing intensive, a degree in mathematics is math intensive, a degree in language, say Spanish or French requires a comprehensive understanding of the language. Computer Science same deal. Business and psychology are the easiest degrees to obtain, as the material does not take much in the way of brains to comprehend. Business is an especially easy subject to master. It can get a little harder if you get into accounting, but that will be worth your time unless AI destroys that profession as well.

      If you attend schools that charge for how long it takes to graduate instead of charging per credit you can save a ton. For example... graduate in 6 months.. maybe $4k to $5k. A year... 8 to 10. But when you get the cost that low, anyone can cover that with scholarships and grants.

    I'm a tad bit confused on something. You mentioned the way you prefer is to just accelerate your programs and do your degree hacking through the schools program and not use any third party self-study programs and transfer those credits over. However right at the end you were saying that the way you do it quickly is to make sure you do a bunch of self-study then test out of your classes. So which one is it? Is it both somehow?

    • @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671
      @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671  4 месяца назад +1

      You self study, and test out of your classes from within the school. Not through 3rd party. You can use the schools system without relying on them to teach you the info. Basically figure out what you need to learn, learn it... and test out using the schools exams. I like it a lot more than the 3rd party approach, especially if you want to keep doors open for grad programs or higher level jobs down the road.

    • @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671
      @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671  Месяц назад +1

      Possibly, if you've started the enrollment process at WGU. But to be honest... Since Sophia is only $99/month... there are easier ways to come up with the $99 than scholarships. To win money you need to apply to lots of scholarships, then you have to wait for your applications to get processed, then see which are approved, then wait for the money... I personally wouldn't go through the process for just the $99 subscription fee.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but after watching a couple of your vids, it seems like the message is "do the fast track courses that these universities offer". Not if you do it the schools way. But if you test out of all your classes you can go at your own pace. It's a lot easier.
      I did it in 9 months, I've seen as fast as 3. My diploma is sitting on my shelf. Believe it or not, it's totally possible and I'm helping people do this every day.

      It depends on if the past credits you earned match what's required for the new degree. But absolutely.
