I've used them all and believe it or not, setting out on the table in the sun does better than bags or banana peels. Entire branches of tomatoes really does well when hung in a sunny area
Thank you for this great video. You are a natural teacher; listened to lots of vids to determine how to save my tomatoes that are about to become frost bitten, and your video is the only one that gave me all the info I needed.
Thank you so much for this information. Here in Massachusetts the nights are getting really cold and I was concerned about my unripen tomatoes. My daughter lives in on Kootenay Lake in B.C. and this will be helpful for her as well.
Thank you for this video! This was the first year I’ve had a high yield but they’re all green and a few that nearly ripened had split 😢 I’m in Oregon and weather is wonky with fall a sneeze away. Now I feel hopeful 😊👍

I like to see if I can get a second run in the fall in Texas where nights are starting to drop to the mid 70's. Some people think you should pull them up when they look like they are starting to die. Does anyone else go for this second run in the fall after keeping them alive in 100 deg. + temps then Miracle Gro around the bottom of the plants and cut off old mostly dead branches? It's worked for me before but summers just seems to be getting hotter all across the country. Please let me know what you think of you're going for that second run or pulling them up.
Only reason tomatoes won’t ripen on the vine, is it’s either to hot at night or to cold at night, nothing else! They’re are extremely temperature temperamental
@@LovinofftheLandthat was a funny comment. 😂 Any update on how the tomatoes ripened? I think I will go with the sunny windo and hanging on the vine. Thanks for the different methods.

Anywhere we can see the results? Looking on your Insta and hard to see what relates to this video.
Good first shot, that part of the garden is looking absolutely beautiful!
Great advice! Thanks very much...I'm going to try them all 😊

Aaah perfect I need this in Austria right now! Got quite cold and I still hope to get some tomatoes! (also: first!)
Do you plan on doing the update or did you and I just can’t find it?
Looks like he didn't update....
Any updates on which methods worked and which didn’t?
I don't really have a sunny window, do you think a grow light would work?
Thanks for sharing🫶🫶✌️🌹

Here in NJ our (sarcastic) squirrels like to chew them off green and place them on our walkway.

Is a tomato matured on the plant the same taste as a green tomato matured on a sunny window?
Green tomato salsa or salsa verde... shredd them put in freezerfor zucchini or spple bread fillers. Freeze slices for fried green tomato.

What is too hot and too cold? My New Mexico nights are usually in the 60 and I have yet to get a ripe tomato
I like that
No follow up to this. Does that mean it didn’t work?
Sounds like u need a mars bar 😂
@@susanc-c7817 Okay?🤷🏼♂️ 😂
No update on how they ripened...so this video makes no sense...
Nah, fry those babies up green. I pickle the littlest ones. You can also pull the whole plant and hang it up indoors and they will ripen slowly.
everyone has different taste in music.
I don't like THIS music, so I won't be back.
🤣🤣
