Hope you enjoyed it everyone! Works been killing me but wanted to ensure I got it out on time! Let me know what you'd like to see next in the comments!
I will try this build. It seems the best so far for zoro, but I'm still not feeling it completely. I think I need to sit down and make my own version of this.
Omg I can’t believe my eyes finally a good zoro build i might actually tear up😪 thank you so much good sir,i went on RUclips looking for good videos but nothing i asked and reddit(bad idea got bullied) and then just gave up but as soon as i saw this video in my recommended i got so happy thank you so much my good sir i genuinely cant thank you enough, oh and you asked what future builds we would like and i was wondering what if you tried to make Brook also from one piece?
I'm very glad you enjoyed it so much! Reddit is very hit or miss, yeah. At least you found something to enjoy in the end! I'll most assuredly add Brooke to the character list, we'll see how the Patron votes go! Thank you very much!
oooh boy I was waiting for this one, another great build! Definitely did not expect this multiclass option but that´s pretty nice, actually fits Zoro well.
Dunno why I never thought bout trying Warlock/Eldritch Knight. I've always tried using battle master with something else. Glad this popped up when I got home from work.
Glad you enjoyed it! Offers some really fun combinations and decent sustain via short rest spells and features. Let me know if there's anything that sounds especially interesting!
Thank you, I'm glad you like it! He was a blast to make. I just put out a new video for a Technoblade build that's fairly similar to this one as well, with more versatility focused on weaponry instead of spells (though some of those too). Hope you enjoy! Thanks for the comment!
You should note: defensive duelist only works if you have a finesse weapon in one hand and nothing in the other, this means you cannot use it while duel wielding.
I'm not sure where you're getting that information from, perhaps a homebrew rule? But going by the information I looked up it says nothing about such a stipulation. "When you are wielding a finesse weapon with which you are proficient and another creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to add your proficiency bonus to your AC for that attack, potentially causing the attack to miss you." Perhaps this was changed in a later book I'm unaware of, but that's straight from the player handbook. Or perhaps I missed something?
I actually made a home brew katana just for this build Edit: you know you also made a good flavor build to cause he doesn’t have many spell slots so he likes to sleep a lot
I really like these videos! I wanted to say I hope you make more of these and I suggest a uchiha member from Naruto but maybe a healer class from some other show would be better!
How about Alucard from Hellsing? Also, a simple way to improve the build: Either have Warlock spells that don't use Charisma, or Eldritch Knight spells that don't use intelligence. Defensive Duelist and shield are also redundant.
Alucard from Hellsing sounds like a great idea! I'll add him on to the to-do list, thank you! I did focus most spells taken to be non-stat based. But definitely not all of them, due to the effects that Zoro dishes out. Anything shockwave or control-based like what he tosses around is going to have an ability score wall, unfortunately. The best way would be changing the build fundamentally, and not taking any control spells and focusing entirely on self-buffing and non-stat buffs. But that would fundamentally change the build, as one of its main goals *was* control. On a side not, it's not redundant in my opinion. Shield is *any* attack for a flat +5 but does drain spell slots, Defensive Duelist is strictly melee attacks but can *eventually* get a higher bonus, technically. But generally, for most players, the AC bonus is lower until quite high level. But doesn't burn a spell slot. Since few campaigns get beyond level 5. Let alone into the double-digits.
I firmly believe you can make a build whatever honestly, but I do try and fit them into the character a bit. I'd hope people to change this and just use the build as a guideline though! D&D is all about creativity and expanding on one another's thoughts after all. Thank you very much for the comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Let me know if there are any characters you'd like to see!
This… makes a lot of sense… i would have gone for a battlemaster fighter, maybe with some barbarian to increase damage and resistance? But Eldritch knight/hexblade warlock makes MUCH more sense!
There's always many ways to make a character after all! Would love to see other builds in the comments, its always fun to see other people try their hands at it! I like the cursed vibes though, gives the build some additional casting versatility.
@@lucajustluca8257 Plenty of homebrew options for swords that would drain the user in return for power as well! Could be a fun curse that drains hit-die in return for adding damage to the swings!
Variant of any background is something that you personally customize and is allowed in any standard game. It'd be odd if you didn't have access to such. Can you tell me about the situation a bit?
Natsu is already on the list amusingly, whenever Patron's vote on him so shall the day be he manifests. But for now I'll add Yami on too, thanks for the recommendation!
Also perfectly viable, but any could be. That said I took it specifically cus Zoro isn't really that smart of a guy imo, and the 13 didn't feel like it should go into Intelligence. Still, I could easily see, for a pure-build design choosing to go that route instead! Glad you enjoyed the video, thank you very much!
It's been a *very* long time, but I can certainly add both to my list! Once patrons vote on them, they'll be out! Kind of excited for it, gives me an excuse to watch the series again after so long!

Hmmmmm.......... this makes more sense than a Collage of Swords Bard.
That'd certainly be an Interesting take on it!
Is there a way to get variant athlete on dnd byeond?
Just throw it together as a homebrew yourself, it's what I do for all of them. Pretty easy to do!
This is such a dope build I never even thought dial wielding with double weapon bonds that’s so awesome

Can you go over his starting equiptment and stuff like that?
I have started going over some key equipment, but that varies far too much from game to game.
Yeah true. Zoro doesn't wear armor, but would you start out with some, since it's offered in the starting equiptment? @@HeartLockHex

DMs hate this build since you always derailing the plot by getting lost

@@HeartLockHex huh, I guess my memory is playing tricks on me, you’re right, my apologies. Maybe I was thinking about a separate similar ability.
Great vid! I’m just really confused where the 1d6 + 11 comes from for attacks.

Thr keen for 3 swords

Kind of up to you! Studded leather or breastplate is my usual go to for characters with dex though.
