The earthquake had already started meaning the person in the pool was not going to go anywhere at that point since it’s MORE dangerous to attempt to get out 💀 literally multiple times throughout that quote it says the water around the pool creates hazardous conditions since it will cause the concrete around the pool to become slippery. Nice try though! Only in extreme cases should you be worried about drowning and that’s if you panic and are bad at swimming.

that was too hard so many Taiwanese were killed in that tragedy our neighbors house in Puli were collapsed hotels restauranrs and supermarkets were closed that was terrible
