    I work for the railroad. They always told us that if a tornado shows up. Don’t go inside a building, go inside a locomotive and lock the door. Those things are stronger than a tank. I’m surprised the side window broke. The front windows are bulletproof. They are about five layers thick. I literally seen rife rounds stuck in them.

      I don't understand how callous people have to be to see the freak of nature that is a tornado, known for killing, injuring, and violently uprooting the lives of so many and walk away from the experience focused on the fact that they hear women screaming and crying and see it as solidification of their misogyny. Never mind when the video people comment under tends to show their now destroyed house and/or neighbourhood.
      I feel like this is a nice tornado video simply because these guys were in the right place at the right time (in a 500 ton literally bulletproof freakin' vessel) whilst watching a relatively weak tornado. I like how you can observe it almost like an animal at the zoo at first.

    200 tons of steel protecting you and keeping you on the ground. Probably one of the best locations to be during a tornado. The light rail cars were probably not in good shape.

    • @SonOfKerro
      @SonOfKerro 2 месяца назад

      Honestly. The biggest problem is a piece of debris coming through the window. 200 tons of steel is able to survive around 220 mph. But also around that point there is a high chance for the locomotive to actually topple over. Not lifted but simply pushed over. Jeez this is long. For a locomotive to be lifted off the ground would probably require 350-400 mph windspeeds which are borderline IMPOSSIBLE.
