I have to make a BIG recommendation on putting the laminating sheets on your paper. Put the laminating sheet down on your Cricut mat sticky side up and then lay your paper slowly and evenly on the laminating sheet. Comes out PERFECTLY and much quicker.
@Jeana Small it actually didn’t always with the holographic laminating but only once or twice. I would recommend cutting the laminate to within the black outer line. It worked better that way.
@@leolego2 Yes it does if you actually do cold laminating on stickers. The video shows the application of sticker to paper. The tip above is to add paper to sticker. In other words....she puts the laminate down face up of course. Then she lays her design paper face down so the laminate is sticking to the top of the stickers when flipped over to be cut in the machine. It's basically a slightly different approach to the same or think of it as both different personal preferences to the same out come. Top of stickers are laminated with water proof cold laminated material and then of course cut out via a digital cutter. Sorry you couldn't visiualize what DaniGem was attempting to explain. I myself actually have a slight different take on it. I almost always lay the laminate onto the sheet and slowly remove the backing while at the same time smoothing the laminate into place so again this is just a personal approach that works for me. Each to their own but all might be worth trying if you are new to the process.
@@danigemd9662 that’s what I do. It takes a bit longer but it works! I feel like my holographic clear sheets add a slight tint of yellow to my stickers. It’s extremely faint and almost not noticeable .
I agree, this is the best sticker tutorial for the Cricut I have ever seen. Tfs and taking the time to do this! Will be watching more of your videos for sure!! 😁
Thank you so much!!! I just got a cricut and I am looking at starting an Etsy shop. This was the perfect video and it taught me everything I needed to know!!
Thanks for this. You did a great job of clearly articulating how to do this. I just got a cricut machine and want to make stickers for private use but had no idea where to start. 👍
Omg last night it took me like almost 2 hours to add photos to design space and edit here and there. Then when it came to adding the laminate, I was so dumb not to watch tutorials, my holographic paper just started sticking to my sticker paper and curling and next thing you know, it all went downhill except one sticker at the corner 😂
Nesting images is a common practice among professional printers as well. You get the most space from the paper that you have. The proper term is gang printing. Home printers might call it 2-up, 4-up, and so forth. So a 2-up is producing 2 exact copies of the same file on the same side of the paper with scale adapted automatically to the size of paper you're using. 4-up is the same principle with 4 identical copies of the same file. Some printers may have a way to enter custom "x"-up where "x" is the quantity that you enter that is equally divisible. Wider format and large format printers have this as a common feature. But when you can buy a house or a large format printer chances are you already know this :)
I cannot say thank you enough. I started selling stickers and I tried to get them to cut out right like 7 times and everything was messing up i was so discouraged until i watched your settings for the paper and ugh you saved my business
Great video! A tip for you that I just learned myself, when pulling off the extra, turn your mat upside down and it works easier. (Like how you did when you took the stickers off 😊)
OMG I watched so many videos, and none of them helped me. And then I watch yours, and all the good things I got them from you. Thank you so much for this video! btw I subscribed because you are the best!

thank you so much for this video! I want to design my stickers and sell on etsy so this was very helpful. First I’ll need a new computer, printer and a cricket machine though 😅
You can always send your design to a sticker company to make the stickers for you! Also, I would recommend redbubble to any beginning artist/seller. You upload your art and they print on demand and will ship out the product for you but you get a percentage of the sale and you're out $0. Good luck girl!
That was a sticker I used to sell in my shop that I designed on my ipad using Procreate with my own handwriting. I've been thinking about selling my handwriting as a font/digital download- should I? 🤔🙃❤️
@@CreativelyErica ok so I just tried that... my sticker is light/pastel colors, and the bleed is black. It cut almost perfectly, but I can still see the bleed part on some edges

Thanks for the detailed review of the process. So, if I understand correctly, the Cricut "knows" where to cut based on a white border you've already laid down around each one. You don't have to give it an offset or bleed width, right? If that's the case, that's pretty cool since it's really easy in Photoshop to lay down sticker borders.
Hello, I enjoyed this video. I am a Cricut newbie. I would like to make stickers and decals. Will any printer suffice? I would like to purchase a better printer in the future. Just want to know if the printer I have and the color ink work for now
Thanks for watching! I started out just using an old hp desk printer that used a tri color cartridge and a basic black cartridge and still got mine to come out great. So I would just do a test run and aa long the clarity is there, they're not pixelated, or have print lines from the printer, you're good.

You're so welcome! Thanks for watching! I do have another tutorial that goes more in depth on the designing process. I basically just explain that I draw them on my iPad and upload to cricut to cut.
If you're just cutting out regular vinyl like most car decals and have a cricut, you can cut up to 2ft long (1ft wide of course) with a long cutting mat. If you're wanting to make an actual sticker with an image/design in it, unfortunately you can only print 6.75"x9.25" with the Cricut print&cut.
I'm VERY new to this but does that paper already have the back of the sticker on it? like what you would peel off to stick it to something? do you have to laminate it?
I use an app called procreate so I just write whatever I want then outline the sticker in white and it's good to go. You could also download fonts to your computer to use if you didn't want to write it yourself.

How are these stickers? What are you sticking them on if the back is not sticky?
The backs are sticky. You have to peel the backing paper off to reveal the stickiness (just like with any other sticker).

Does it have to be a inkjet printer or a regular printer?
Hi, which paper should I buy if I want to make waterproof, freezer, uv resistant stickers? Thank you for your help.
Hi! I'm wondering what printer is best for printing stickers. With my printer they come out looking very dull
How do you keep it from cutting each letter individual? How do you make the white or border outline all around it
I upload it as a whole image after I draw a white border around it (on procreate) so it won't cut each letter individually.
Where do you get the cute images?
I draw/design them myself on an app called Procreate on my ipad
How do you keep them from cutting out the inside of the sticker?
Those look great! Love the colors.
I'm VERY new to this but does that paper already have the back of the sticker on it? like what you would peel off to stick it to something? do you have to laminate it?
What printer would you reccomend?
After you laminate, how do they stick to stuff? Do you use transfer paper?
Only laminate the top side. The bottom side is sticky after you peel off the sticker backing.
This is an awesome tutorial, thanks so much!
Thanks so much for watching!
What printer do yall use to print the stickers?
This was a super helpful video, thank you!! And bless you for listing everything in the description too!

Thanks for the video. Do you have any advice on how to print words on stickers with a white border?
