Hey, great to see this continue. Was almost a little worried about you there. Two things: 1) When Uriel is beating up Amenadiel, he says "Fury of God doesn't talk that much, he's a man of action.", so he knew something was wrong when Amenadiel didn't just show up and punch him back to Heaven. 2) When Uriel presents Azrael's blade, he says "I borrowed it from the Angel of Death when SHE wasn't looking.", so there ARE female Angels, Death being one of them. Excited for the next episodes, they are some really good ones.
People often think of Lucifer dismissing Amenadiel's fall but Lucifer is right, it probably is the best thing that happened to him, Lucifer doesn't see being a fallen angel as anything bad or wrong, he see's it as a badge of honour, that you choose to act according to your own agenda not that of God's. Lucifer in his own way is complimenting his brother on his fall, it also says a lot about Amenadiel's pride, Lucifer immediately told Amenadiel someone who he knew was trying to kill him, that he's started bleeding and can die, total upfront honesty, where as Amenadiel hides his power loss from Lucifer to prideful to admit his own fall to his closest brother
Lucifer had somehow gotten TV for himself and Mazikeen in Hell, and when he has periodically visited earth in the past and has also influenced some of histories biggest cultural icons so i guess you can say he is particularly well adjusted just not to his emotions as he never had any except for Rage, anger and pain

He plays the comedy brilliantly, but he can bring the dramatic scenes equally well. This episode is great, because we see Lucifer in the last scene totally broken by what he has been forced to do to protect both Chloe and his mother. It' the first time we've ever seen him this way, and it really is emotional. Anyway, to answer your question, yes there are female angels. Lucifer does have female siblings.
One great detail is how Luci see's the blood on his hands and immediately looks upwards, as if begging his Father for forgiveness, for the first time in his life he wanted to be forgiven, not for his fall, not for his rebellion, but for killing his own brother, one he didn't particularly dislike but Lucifer loves all of his brothers and sisters
@@aditi8774 He's actually a really loving person, one thing I've noticed is that through-out the show, people who know Lucifer who meet his friends, always mention how highly he speaks of everyone, and how he often gushes about them He constantly talks about how great all of his friends are to everyone he meets, which really shows how much he actually likes everyone although he doesn't let most of them know it.

I too wander what is the story behind Lucifer's Earthly wealth - which must be in tens of billions, not that he cares. His spending is outrageous as a norm - so he has all eternity to accumulate it but I wonder how he tags it to his identity... Angel seem to have autonomy to achieve what they understand is God's will and can self actualise the abilities they need to achieve what they want to happen - which is a totally cool paradigm. Love your reactions by the way - your dynamic is crazy interesting!!!

Late to the reactions to Lucifer. I usually watched reaction channels to music. Just wanted to mention a thing: God's greatest gift to all is free will. Lucifer made his choice, and must 'live' with it, as do we all. We are given the freedom to sin, or not. Man is born of it and the price for redemption is death. That price was paid at the cross. I don't want to come off as preachy, because I do enjoy the pretext of the show...as sheer entertainment with the devil as still being a divine creature who still 'doesn't get it.' He never does (get it) according to scripture, but this is the world of entertainment trying to humanize and cleanse satan for acceptance from man. It only works on the truly lost. Enjoy the show, as I have, but don't forget the context of reason from its makers.

the different approach of Lucifer is because he has lived among humans more than any other of celestial beings. it's clear after the conversation between Lucifer and Uriel, that this last acted on his free will, and God has nothing to do with what's going on. Lucifer is in love with chloe and he loves his mother, it's an impossible decision for him. they just mention a sister, Azrael. Uriel stole the blade from her, it was he said during the last conversation with Lucifer before the fight. this blade is too powerful, it can smite any human or celestial being from existence.
God and goddess have essentially the same powers it's just that goddess has been imprisoned and was cast out which is why she is weakened right now, I can't wait until you reach season 5 especially.
@@salvadorlevario it's always been quite funny to me that they all sided with God, and it was probably because of Lucifer. To afraid to be fallen like he was, to afraid to be shunned, the Goddess always seemed to be open about her love for her children as well as being more attentive to them where as God always seemed to be distant, cold and unloving which I guess probably made a lot of the angels side with him thinking they'd finally gain the affection they craved from their father.
