I just love that Piertotum Locomotor scene! The music, Mcgonagall's speech and how excited (well, maybe not excited given the circumstances but you know what i mean 😅) she is after using it. I just love these movies so much and i thought your reaction was brilliant! What will you be reacting to know you've finished Harry Potter? 😊

yesssss! I love how she got giddy to use the spell and see it come to life. im going to miss Maggie smith sooo much. she was a brilliant professor mcgonagall! as for what comes next 🤔 I want to keep that a surprise but its going to be a trilogy. 🤭

R.I.P. to Maggie Smith. I hope to be as half as a badass as her one day. Also to Answer your question, Goyle (or Crabbe in the book) used FiendFyre which is incredibly hard to control. So they just weren't skilled enough to handle it.

only Hermione completed the 7th year (with Ginny). Harry, Ron and Nevil were accepted into the Aurors' department. Ron left after a few years to join George in the joke shop. Nevil too left to become Professor Sprout's assistant then became the Herbology Professor after Sprout retired. Nevil and Luna were never an item. Nevil married Hannah Abbott and Luna married Rolf Scamander, the grandson of Newt (Fantastic Beasts). George married Angelina Johnson

wow! so the movies were just trying to pair up neville to luna. i know they don’t always follow the books but it would have been nice to know all of that by watching the movies. thanks for telling me those details, love it!

Oh, man.... seeing Fred lying on the floor in the Great Hall dead is heartbreaking, especially seeing Ron break down in tears. (Hearing that Harry had to sacrifice himself to give them a chance of defeating Voldemort and the Death Eaters didn't help that grief.) Also, I was at the midnight premiere of The Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 3D. The scene where Mrs. Weasley took out Bellatrix got a massive cheer from the audience.
7 points I've made or seen in the past regarding Harry Potter:
    1. The prophecy Professor Dumbledore mentioned in Professor Snape's memory that mentioned a baby born at the end of July was partially true. There were actually two: Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. They were born in the same month and year, but Neville is only 1 day older than Harry. (Neville: 30 July 1980, Harry: 31 July 1980.) Voldemort had chosen to target a then 15-month-old Harry, thus marking him as his equal. Neville lived a life free of that fear with his grandmother, despite the constant painful reminder of his parents being permanently admitted to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries after being tortured into insanity by Bellatrix Lestrange.
    2. In the scene where Professor McGonagall steps in to protect Harry from Professor Snape....if you notice, he never raises his wand to actually attack her. He actually deflects the spells hurled at him at the two Death Eaters behind him, the Carrows....the very same pair that Neville said were forcing the students to practice the Cruciatus Curse on first years.
    3. Voldemort's death after his battle with Harry wasn't supposed to look like he got snapped out by Thanos, and it wasn't just them isolated in the courtyard. In the book, Harry and Voldemort battle for the last time in front of everyone else, resulting in Voldemort dying as a mortal man once Neville sliced off Nagini's head.
    4. Harry didn't snap the Elder Wand in the book version. He mends his original wand (the one he got in Philosopher's Stone from Ollivander's) with it, then returns it to Professor Dumbledore's grave.
    5. I give HUGE props to Narcissa for straight-up lying to Voldemort after Harry confirmed that Draco was alive. It shows that neither she nor her son wanted the Death Eater life.
    6. That one goblin who stared in shock as the Ukrainian Ironbelly burst through the floor of Gringotts seriously looked a bit like Donald Trump.
    7. While hiding out at Grimmauld Place with Ron & Hermione, Remus shows up and tells them Tonks is pregnant, and while hiding out at the shell cottage, Remus tells them that their son Teddy was born and names Harry his godfather.

      oh my god, your response is amazing! here goes my best for you;
1- I actually do remember reading that from the books. I always had sympathy for neville as well as harry. they both had "lost" family in some ways y but at least neville has his grandma.
2- I did actually notice that prof. Snape never tried to fight prof. mcgonagall. I notice the carrows got knocked out but silly me, never thought Snape had done it intentionally. lol
3- interesting, wish I remembered that from the book.
4- I respect harry leaving the wand with Dumbledore again but ultimately I think it's better that the elder wand was destroyed. imagine if that got into the hands of another future dark wizard.
5- yes! absolutely! narcissa was someone who earned my respect even though she did it only as a mother trying to save her son and not really caring for harry's wellbeing or fight with Voldemort.
6- LMAO!! you are right, he kinda does! I can't unsee it now...
7- Aww, that's sweet! I can see harry being little ted's godfather and taking good care of him.

Suggestions: Airplane! (1980) and Blues Brothers (1980). Both is comedy. To contrast emotions you hade with this film.

Good idea! I saw airplane once as a kid and it was very funny although I don't remember too much of it now. I'll look up the blue brothers, I actually don't know that one.

The difference between magic and magick
The word “magick” was created by aleister Crowley, the founder and occultist of the thelema religion. He added the “k” to distinguish his craft from illusionists and magicians since he did not perform “tricks”
