He then gets even more experience in the seven minute battle with Wesker and Jill, so it is safe to say he understands his opponent. All of this together is why Chris was able to win, granted he was assisted by Sheva Alomar. With all this in mind, I genuinely believe no other character, such as Leon, would be able to best Wesker, as they don't have enough experience to predict and dodge Wesker's attacks or make him angry enough to lose focus. Wesker also would not toy with them as he has no vendetta against them. The only other characters I can see pulling this off is maybe Jill Valentine, as she has a similar history with Wesker and some enhanced abilities from the T-Virus, or possibly the combo of Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin if they get MUCH more experience.

He is so durable that Chris Redfield, who punches boulders with no issue, will shake his hand like it hurts after punching Wesker during the "counterattack animation." I keep hearing people say “Oh Chris had plot armor that’s how he won 🤓🤓”
Now I will agree Chris had SOME plot armor but the reason why Wesker didn’t just speed blitz Chris is because it’s apart of Weskers personality he’s a narcissistic douchbag who won’t let the opportunity of humiliating and toying with him and it completely makes sense why because Chris is the person he hates the most in the world for example the plane fight when he points the Samurai edge at Chris while he monologues Wesker is basically making fun of Chris and his old STARS team during what could be the failure of his plan and due to Weskers giant ego and cockiness he lost.
It’s also the reason why I think Wesker would negative - diff Leon because Wesker doesn’t care about Leon as he only cares about Chris and has no reason to hate Leon so he would just blitz him
Then u need to learn that chris is human at last and punching that boulder was not some human thing but still u say that i agree chris had "some" 🤓 plot armor thats not "some" plot armor that's alot and second thing yes it's wesker's personality but in the end he would have defeated chris if that plot thingy didn't happen so yes he won because of plot armor
@@Yorichi-c9n Alright if you wanna get in the physics part of the boulder which is such a nitpick on your part there’s multiple videos debunking that moving the boulder is in fact possible but again this is the only part where Chris had some plot armor but that’s the only canonical part in the game where he had plot armor
@@samuelun2521UUMMMMMM.... no, this is by FAR not the only part Chris had plot armor. Heck, Wesker's refusal to kill him was plot armor. Chris surviving that uppercut all the way back in CV was plot armor. Chris surviving being kicked through a metal door hard enough to tear it off its hinges and throw both him and the door twenty feet, and not even having a slight limp, is plot armor. Chris surviving being kicked in the face had enough to throw him fifteen feet through the air is plot armor. Chris surviving a plane crash from above clouds without a scratch is plot armor. Chris surviving and fighting inside the lethal environment of an active volcano is plot armor. Josh and Jill somehow knowing where the jet crashed and arriving just in time to save Chris is plot armor. All of that is plot armor. The only way Chris survives at all is plot armor lol
@@melissazietz1241 All of Wesker’s refusal to kill Chris was not plot armor like I said before it’s his ego he hates Chris more than anything and is a reminder of all his past failures so he wants to ruin Chris just as he ruined Wesker.
Now as you mentioned all the damage Chris has taken, I personally don’t like counting this as plot armor even though it’s technically plot armor it’s just such a common thing in RE universe that I’m pretty sure the anatomy of the characters in RE aren’t the same as us since Jill gets punched through walls, Leon walks off punches from the damnation tyrants into a wall, Ada can survive giant falls without breaking her ankles and the list goes on, RE has always been goofy asf when it comes to the resilience of characters to the point where it’s obvious their anatomy is not the same as ours.

So yeah the only points when Wesker *ACTUALLY* wanted to kill Chris was at the end CV where he gets his whooped but at the end of CV Wesker gets cocky and monologues, Re5 basically ensuring they don’t get to him by sending his army, the plane fight but again he gets cocky and monologues and the volcano fight.
I don’t like to bring up the whole plot armor of how much damage they take and their feats since Christ sake Leon literally solo’s an army of infected and HEAVILY ARMED enemies if that ain’t bullshit idk what is but again this Resident Evil we’re talking about, one of the goofiest game franchises that has ever existed the logic in RE is not the same as our world.

You might not want to count it as plot armor, but it's definitely plot armor. And yes, they all have it, but that doesn't change the fact that it's plot armor.
Wesker not killing Chris is PIS, not really plot armor. And I always found it incredibly lame that Chris wins not because of his own merits, but simply because Wesker isn't trying. Such a lazy piece of writing by Capcom that does a huge disservice to both characters. Wesker, because it makes him look like an idiot and also robs us of the chance to see what Wesker is _truly_ capable of, if he goes all-out; and Chris, because no matter what, people will always be able to say he couldn't win on his own merit, and he only won because Wesker wasn't trying to kill him. That's lame, in my opinion.
Plot armor has infinite potential
