I actually really like this new Wesker voice! It's a different approach, but it really suits his character! God, I'd love to see Wesker in a Resident Evil 1 RE Engine remake. Same with Barry, Rebecca, and all of the monsters (the Tyrant, Hunters, etc...).
I think it was established that the outbreak in Africa started thanks to Wesker using what was left of Krauser in the og timeline, which here its explicitly shown that theory is very much the case

Wesker to all character residen evil : shut up i dont intersting with you Wesker to crish redfild : seven minute, seven minute is all i can to spare with you . And end with CRIIIIIISSSSS!!!!!
I did notice it. But it’s only an ever so slight improvement. Barely noticeable if you don’t have the discernible eyes and ears for it. Seems they heard the criticisms, but still wanted to keep the direction they intended for this Ada in this remake. They want her to be stoic, serious and professional with only a hint of sas. In previous iterations, her dialogue seemed seductive, perhaps too seductive. In this remake universe they’re going for a more serious attitude for the character. More like a “I’m not here to play games, I’m here to do a job, not get all sexual and fill your ears with sexy remarks and be eye candy”. She’s a professional merc, in a secluded, rural, part of Europe. She’s an attractive woman, but she doesn’t need to constantly wear that on her sleeve, atleast not in the this particular job Wesker hired her to do where she’s surrounded by mindless parasite infested drones. Who is she there to seduce and get all sexy with? Her attitude and even her wardrobe reflects this more serious art direction. People were upset she didn’t have her Chinese dress, early on when Ada was first revealed but it didn’t make sense for her to be in that get up to begin with, not in this particular terrain and mission. In the remake she has a sweater dress, with leather boots, she’s got tactical gloves and gun holsters/gear on. She finally fits the bill as a merc, in rural Spain doing a job with still just enough sexiness and style, but not too much as to make it come off dumb and out of place. People getting all clammed up over her voice acting or the fact she didn’t have her classic dress out the gate, are just being childish and clinging to a silly caricature that the devs felt needed a change for their more serious remake atmosphere that they’re going with now. It’s the same argument with remake Jill, and her tube top, and skirt outfit that just felt out of place. These designs work for a campy horror like the original games, but for the purposes of the tonal shift for the remake’s timelines they feel outta place and ridiculous. Those outfits are there as alternative bonuses, but are not meant to be canonical in the remakes timelines. They’re a novelty from the original campiness. They’re trying to design their characters now in a way where they can be taken more seriously. Does it mean it’s better? Well that’s up to the viewer/players tastes, but you now have the remakes as well as the originals, two different flavors of seasoning to choose from. It’s not a big deal. I happen to like the contrast and variety.
The new Wesker is cool! But I will miss the old Wesker voiced by dc Douglas. This Wesker sound angry, unlike the re5 Wesker which is calmer and send shiver down people’s spines

Ha gotta love Wesker. A hot woman playfully says “Are you staying?” and he just brushes her off like nothing.
What a champ.
Volcel grindset
@DiegoGiordanoVieira33590i have a suspicion Jake’s existence was kept a secret from Wesker.
He's got his eyes on someone else *Rebecca* if you know what I mean 😅😅
Man prefers blondes (no I'm not kidding this is cannon)
@@theonlytnargmatt wesker loves claire. That is canon.
I do hope Wesker’s new VA hams it up a bit in the inevitable RE5 Remake, I want the cheese & suavity.
Given how powerful Wesker is, especially in 5, its funny that you consider the fact he could've gotten the amber himself, yet he let Ada do her thing, making me think he was enjoying dragging it out
Re5 remake totally confirmed
I'm really curious if they're going to do it because RE5 still looks relatively modern.
@@Madchimpz Until the remake comes out.
The graphics for RE5 still hold up great
I think it should wait until the code veronica remake comes out
No
I missed this bastard. "Complete local saturation", lol
Wasn’t it Global and not local?
I love this portrayal of Wesker being both Heroic and Villainous intentions....the 2-faced Hero/Villain of the series.
Wants to bring humanity to evolve into superhuman beings but will sacrifice them to achive that goal.
I really wish that albert wesker has his own story like separate ways ada wong, even if not as long as ada wong, and i think others resident evil fans will definitely agreed
Hear me out hear me out: A resident evil game with wesker as the MC but its given the same kind of gameplay as Prototype
@@Dukesparrow1999 Similar to Umbrella Chronicles where the game take place in 2003 but with remake Wesker for Umbrella's downfall?
The new voice actor was badass but nobody can top Richard Waugh's Albert Wesker
"SURE I'M NOT HUMAN ANYMORE, BUT JUST LOOK AT THE POWER I'VE GAINED!" - Code: Veronica
That line delivered by Mr. Waugh was so badass. It also has Vergil's power in it
Magnificent, don’t you think?
“Complete local saturation…”
Wesker is one intimidating dude and his voice is scarier now
To see wesker on the ground during the events of re4 is interesting you could make an anime or side game out of that idea easily.
You know there was a guy in another comment section that had a head cannon that Johnny cage from mk1 played wesker in one of his movies...looking at the move sets i cant unsee it.
I actually really like this new Wesker voice! It's a different approach, but it really suits his character! God, I'd love to see Wesker in a Resident Evil 1 RE Engine remake. Same with Barry, Rebecca, and all of the monsters (the Tyrant, Hunters, etc...).
Despite the controversy of it all, I would have loved to see more of this version of Wesker, even if they do a remake of RE 5 I would welcome it
Wesker got backuplan, if he can’t get the sample, take the dead body
He did the same thing is code Veronica
@@GeosRealityReport exactly what I meant
@@MaxBraver555 And for the longest time, people were speculating that's how he got the plaga, Krauser's body, and they confirmed it in the remake.
I think it was established that the outbreak in Africa started thanks to Wesker using what was left of Krauser in the og timeline, which here its explicitly shown that theory is very much the case
They really missed a great deal by not showing weskers red glowing eyes under his lens in the final scene...
Ada ain't stopping shit.. Wesker's motto has always been " Expect Nothing" always be prepared for changes..
0:34 Obi-Wan would be proud 🥲
I wonder if the Albert Wesker VA, Craig Burnatowski can yelling Chris Redfield in the remake of RE5
So I know the remake voices are a mixed bag but I am actually loving this Wesker. The old Wesker was a lot more campy and moustache twirling but this one suits the more grounded nature of the remakes.
Wesker’s emotion evolution.
1996-2002: 🙂😡🤨😂🤣😡😤🤣🤣😝😂😆🤣
2004: 🤫😐😏😏🤫
2009: 😏😏😏😏😏😏😡🤬
2023 remake: 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶😏
"Complete local saturation" lmao nice RE5 reference 1:34
damn why was Wesker smiling at Krauser like that
cuz he knew that krauser has a special plagas sample.....plan b is ada fails him or betrayed him
I like he says “Complete local saturation” when in OG RE5 he said, “Complete global saturation” wonder if that was a callback/reference. 1:34
it for sure was, cool fan service moment
Love this wesker voice.
He's just so iconic that a game without him is lame.
W wesker's voice actor
I hope you're joking.
@@melissazietz1241 that wesker is an iconic character or the voice actor being awesome?
Hell yeah.
Albert wesker will always be the best character in resident evil...
@@melissazietz1241 "Grrr... not everybody has my same opinion.... must be them trying to play tricks on me..."
Nice to see wesker having a little more involvement in the remake. Wish I could play it
Wesker gets Leon's dream scenario: Ada on a bed asking if he wants to stay, and he brushes it off like it's nothing.
7:36 excella is being foreshadow for the upcoming remake of RE5 xD
7:38 IS THAT OUR GIRL EXCELLA TOP LEFT
It seems yes
Yup
@I-need-2-win despite the hate I really like re 5 and I hope they make re5 much better than og and I want to see more screen time for Wesker in re 5
RE5 Wesker voice will forever be the best
So glad Wesker no longer sounds like Riff Raff from Rocky Horror trying to sound like Tim Curry.
Re5 remake will be one hell of a game
Very certain RE5 Remake is happening now.
How long has it been since we saw him for the last time? 14-15 years? Damn, time flies fast.
Umbrella Chronicles Wesker still the best.
I agree
damn right
I hope they keep this new wesker voice actor in re1 remake
I love how his theme from Resident Evil 5 plays. So badass.
Damn, I still love Him!
Would be cool if they added this skin into DBD
I would love to see the skin in DBD of both main game skin and the Mercenaries dress
Its a shame that DBD manage to bring to us a better adaptation than the actualy Resident Evil. DBD has better voice actor and character model.
@@deadly-hunter ikr
@@deadly-hunterAint no way u glazing dbd the models are shit
@@deadly-hunterare you drunk they killed ada's real voice
As resident evil veteran the only ada's voice actress that I recognize are ada's RE2/dark chronicles/RE4 & RE2 remake
Ada: Just one question
Wesker: I did not pay you to ask questions 😡
Also Wesker: Proceeds to explain his plan like a movie/cartoon villain 🥸
5:24 This the closest we're going to get to Wesker vs. Saddler and Wesker vs. Krauser.
Wesker being back is like a dream (or rather nightmare) come true.
COMPLETE LOCAL SATURATION
10:08 Resident Evil 5 OST - Excella and Wesker
Why does he sound so intense and angry all the time? He feels like a completely different character.
I thought I was the only one that thought that he sounds kind of labored the whole time
maybe because he's beyond insanity
@@magmality Idk, this seems way more aggressive than RE5 Wesker. he used to be so chill in the original RE4. now, he just sounds like he has breathing problems and bites people.
That's what happens when a tyrant impales you with its claw and you survive a thermal nuclear explosion
Yep, they've retconned his character's personality. Wesker is meant to be calm, collected, monotonous, and always believing he has the upper hand, even in anger. Now he seems easily irritated and anxious about failure. New actor is great, but it's a totally different character being played.
*”CHRIIIIISSSSS”*
Wesker to all character residen evil : shut up i dont intersting with you
Wesker to crish redfild : seven minute, seven minute is all i can to spare with you . And end with CRIIIIIISSSSS!!!!!
Can't wait to play this dlc
I am gonna miss D.C. as Wesker
wesker : Stick to the high ground. You have the memes.
I will not play RE5 without having a QTE where I punch a boulder, it’s a canon event
Is it just me or the VA of Ada did better job here than in the main game?
Honestly, she's still horrible.
Hahajaa stop the cap.
it's as forgettable as ever.
I thought she did much worse here
The new Wesker is cool! But I will miss the old Wesker voiced by dc Douglas. This Wesker sound angry, unlike the re5 Wesker which is calmer and send shiver down people’s spines
I'm going to miss British Wesker
It's funny how Wesker keeps appearing on the island while he has the boat, it's almost comical.
At 9:35 the top picture left corner, Oswell Spencer at the mountains during snow. Resident Evil 8 Village, Oswell to Miranda letter and the picture. You welcome.
Seeing Albert Wesker in Resident Evil 4 Remake is great again
As much as I love the ham and cheese of DC Douglas...this more grounded voice fits Wesker just a bit....still, Douglas does have the Complete...Global...Saturation.
He has a nice yacht
Wesker is one of the best characters ever made! Such a powerful villain
I just now saw something I can’t un see. Weskers model here more specifically his hair looks very similar to Ethan’s from 7 and 8
It probably explains why Chris wasn't up for sharing anything with Ethan about Mother Miranda.
Wesker looks like aged duke nukem
I wish he had a conversation with saddler
10:32
“ Fine. I will do it myself. "
Most of the island remains intact after the explosions? Jesus we might actually have more enhanced re4 BOW’s to fight in re5 remake than we what we had. Ngl, I’d love for Wesker to recreate regeneradors with his type 2 and 3 plaga somehow cause it’s effectiveness cannot be ignored with whatever new potential it will have.
Bring Wesker back!!!! One of the most awesome antagonists in Fiction!
Wesker sounds like a high school edgelord who has watched too much anime
LMAOOOOO
So he is accurate to the original lol
Ikr I miss his accent
Plz I cannot wait for more of this rendition of Wesker he is smoooooking
I love his voice, gosh
Such an effortlessly cool character in a cast of effortlessly cool characters. Brilliant.
