About Wesker's interest in Rebecca, have you ever thought that he saw himself in her and could be testing her to see if she would be "superior"? Like Wesker, Rebecca was an early genius, graduated in biochemistry at the age of 18. The whole story of Wesker recruiting her for STARS may have to do with him wanting to see how she would perform on the field based on that.
I think a lot of people jump to relationship hinting in so many characters when evidence is limited. It's done to every char in every show/game/cartoon, etc. I think people just like the idea of fantasizing over fact sometimes. The creator can literally go "No, they aren't and never will be--" and people will still disagree. Lol.

Ya know, I love him as a villain, but it’d be awesome to have like an origins game to play as him and go through his perspective on exactly what happened.

I'd love to see Wesker get his own game. To get his full story from his perspective. And no trolls Umbrella Chronicles doesn't count. Yes he narrated the game but he doesn't have as many missions as others in the game.

@@melissazietz1241 honestly I feel like we deserve that story but would you kind of want to ruin the ambiguousness of the backstory cuz wouldn't nothing be a really good way to encourage you to imagine much like you want to see the monster in a horror movie but when you see the monster it's a little less scary so I kind of feel like it's the same thing with the backstory for Wesker it's much more intriguing and mysterious to imagine what the backstory is but once you get the backstory it's kind of takes the fun away from it
@@silverink1824 But Wesker isn't a monster in a horror movie; he's a person with a background that is sad and interesting and really should be told, if only to help explain somewhat why he is the way he is. But Capcom could never do it because they've made the whole lore of Resident Evil so convoluted that Hansel and Gretel couldn't find their way back to where they started from. Wesker died without even knowing his real name, and that's kind of sad.

@@silverink1824 Perhaps through the story thread all the way to the end it's more interesting to not know, but by the end we should know his story. Since Capcom killed him off and has no intention of giving him back, it's just laziness that kept and continues to keep them from illuminating his story and the story of the Wesker Project.

Good point, yeah his death in the film was bad, even worse than bad, he died a shitter version of how Jabba's Rancor did in Star Wars. Its funny how the movie team thought a door was a good way to kill him, not a big explotion, not a Tyrant killing him, but a door
THEORY!: Movie Wesker was originally supposed to die in a different way, but the director/whoever decided that Dr. Isaacs should become the main villain, and instead of creatively writing around it, just swapped the character names around in the script. Isaacs suspiciously has cyber implants that give him Wesker-like reflexes and powers, and Wesker is suddenly killed by something that would kill a normal human. So I'm guessing these script changes happened, likely without much thought, way late into production.
The movies are good as them selves but you compare it to the game then they are absolute garbage

Wesker was 48 at his time of death in RE5. It says so in his stats on the Mercenaries character select screen. It may have been 2009 but it was before his birthday, making him 48, not 49.

Man, the one thing that keeps me thinking about Wesker having some feelings or at least some "special interest" for Rebecca is that in RE 1 he shooted her in the bulletproof vest ... in the BULLETPROOF VEST! he felt something for our dear rookie, or he was fricking blind (both highly possible). @@KatieLamb since we do not know the real story for RE 1, everything that happends in the game is a mistery, I'm just saying this about the bulletproof vest because I always read in discussions about the "Wesker x Rebecca thing" that Wesker did not have feelings for Rebecca since he shoot her, but they seems to not take in consideration that if Wesker shoot her, why he shoot her in the bulletproof vest?. So yeah, it is a posibility, since the real story for RE 1 is not clear at all, that Wesker didn't ever show up to Rebecca in the manssion, but for those who said that he hated her just for the shooting thing, they need to consider well about where does he shoot her.... I was watching The Chase (A game show we have in the UK) last night and one of the questions was:- Albert Wesker was the antagonist of which computer game series?
I immediately knew it was resident evil as soon as the question came up - the contestant and the Chaser both answered Assassin's Creed. Needless to say I was screaming at the TV!!

brett Smith I don’t mind, and Re2 remake was true to its original, unlike re3 which was just a Re-imaging instead. Re 1 does not need a remake, it is good how it is.

I always found that the RE:CV & RE5 Wesker was similarly violent. The Wesker in all of the other games like the Umbrella Chronicles & RE4 Wesker is much more cool and collective. A more level headed frenemy for players. I hope there was 2 Alberts and our badass in the suit is working with the firearms in Blue Umbrella.

That's funny kai, because I didn't know that the actor for Wesker actually worked for Geico, so in the beginning, when you said Wesker got fired from I didn't understand un till That one part when it was mentioned.

I will says good video many facts were accurate however Wesker was still apart of umbrella (didn't officially leave umbrella until the events of RE1 basically in 98 Jake had been born before then) and doing military work when he fathered Jake. a son he would never know about because Jake's mother broke up with Wesker and returned to her home country to give birth to Jake never telling Wesker about him and only telling Jake that his father never wanted to be around. Also it would have been cool to note that Umbrella Corp was declared Cannon which with the Wesker voice could very well mean that Wesker is alive and well. Not to mention the hidden voice file with in that game.

He pretty radically went from "cool collected villain always one step ahead" to "crazy bad guy with a god complex who wants to rule the world" in the blink of an eye .
That's why he's so compelling as a villain . He is smart , patient , and almost always outsmarts the good guys . The heroes always win in Resident Evil , but Wesker never really lost either until Resident Evil 5 , which never discredited him as a bad guy .
Plus , if Chris and the gang were to believe he was dead , he would have all the liberty in the world to put his own true agenda forward .
It'd be far-fetched but also awesome if we were to learn that he was somehow involved in the BSAA's shady business of developing Bioweapons as soldiers and that Chris has been playing right in his hand all along .
If Wesker ever returns in a future game/project, DC Douglas NEEDS to be the VA. He has the perfect voice for the character.

Well, the beta of 4 did become Devil May Cry. The final boss of Devil May Cry was similar to what Spencer would've originally become.
Albert Wesker has my personal favourite gun in video game history. His samurai edge is so damn cool.

I had heard about the phone call that was set 2 years after RE5 after watching a podcast with DC Doughs. I hope that they brought Wesker back he was one of the best villians that RE had. They could say that he created clones of himself in case the original died. the phone call could be hinting that or that he fake his death and a clone died in RE5 instead of him. They never explore it through. Maybe it will come up in future games. Re9 Re10 etc
Weskers gun actually does suppress the noise of the gun. If you play as him on the castle stage using the gun while a garrador is present it won't trigger him to attack you like any other gun.
Wesker's upbrining is almost exactly like MasterChief's from Halo, when you think about it. In addition to both characters posssing the sickest gear and the best voice actors, he's also one of the most badass characters of the gaming world. Would be awesome if Capcom decided to make a spin-off game solely about his evolution to the strongest Tyrant there ever was.

I might as well be the one to say it, Wesker's silencer in RE 4 does actually work, however it only works on the boss character, The Garrador
Furthermore, the silencer does not raise critical chance, that is the guns special ability at max power, referred to as the "exclusive upgrade". Removing the silencer will not lower the critical chance, but it will save you some inventory space
The best gaming villain and honestly the -eal main character of resident evil.

4:04 this may have been referenced as a death animation in RE5 in the airplane quick time event near the end of the game and if you mess up on one of them Wesker punches through either Chris or shevas’s chest (I don’t quite remember who it happens to)

I remember in RE5's Mercenaries mode, he's the only character to not shout their partner's name if they die. I think he says something else, but you can barely hear it.

Wesker is such a badass, but mostly goofy character, I love him a lot, he’s great. I guess I am bias since I’m the president of the Peppino and Wesker: Friends Forever Club, but I don’t care, Wesker is cool.

I have a detail I noticed in RE 5. When playing any Multiplayer game and you're playing Wesker he will have his glasses on, however any damage he takes will fling his glasses off for the rest of the match.

I think it was in RE4 ada's DLC "separate ways". But Wesker does know of Leon and he actually respects/admires him but also knows he's a liability and wants Ada to eliminate him asap.
