Some people don’t understand that as a farmer you have to have a stress reliever and that is what those horses are for you all. To those who have never known operating a farm on a tight budget we send our congratulations. To the rest of us who know how to make ends meet on a tight budget you are what makes this world work. We love you all!
Well said!
It is a lot of upkeep keeping everything running even on our little piece of land. Good luck!
Plus she has a business, youth groups, church groups etc... and goodness knows all the normal household stuff to do. It's doggone tough and I don't know how she keeps it all straight. ❤
Everybody's on a tight budget we all figured it out how to do this thing you're speaking of. Stay positive it'll get easier for you. You'll just learn new ways and it'll be easier
The ones you're thinking of they're the 1% they don't watch these kind of videos
Your pickin' and praisin' sessions are just a small taste of heaven❤👍🏽☝️
You get your ups and downs on the farm thats for sure....that was lovely on the porch playing and singing...stay safe and see you on the next one
As always Meredith thank you for sharing the farm life with the Bernard's! God Bless Ya'll and your friend. Be safe, Be well and Be happy!! Have a great evening Ya'll!!
I hate having to pull and pull on any motor and it doesn't start! I can relate! I sure give you credit to keep going! I enjoy your videos!
I'm happy that going to church is part of your busy life! God is always with you!
Busy Lady. GREAT VIDEO. Jen is such a wonderful friend. Be safe Jen during your travels back home. God Bless !
Y’all make me smile! Thanks to Jenn as well!
Meredith put a big smile on my face when I seen your video pop up. I really enjoy watching you and your family. Thank you.😊 love the horses beautiful. I loved this video.❤🙏
Love those old songs. Thank you for sharing. Blessings
My husband said the sparkplug is made from glass & gets very hot. Sometimes water gets sprayed on it which can cause it to Crack. There you go.😊❤ Such a beautiful ending to this video!
Thanks for sharing the video Meredith. Glad your friend got to visit you.
It is a great time when someone like Jen comes to visit the farm. Glad you had a great time with her. Where is the old red these days. Have not seen it working. Love your beautiful family and the guitar singing and the banjo picking.
Great harmony to hear the gospel in song. May you all be blessed.
The REAL rural America at it’s finest.
LB has a good arm! Every time I have to start one of those pumps, I wonder if anyone makes an electric starter!
Glad you and Jenn got together. Bet yall had fun! I just love sitting on the porch picking. Wesley has gotten so good! Have a great week!
❤🎉 Wesley is awesome on that banjo !!! 😊❤️🥰
Beautiful end of the video. Love the music.
Thank you for sharing!!❤
I’m watching the episode when 3 yo Zachary came to the farm with his family. I sure hope you’re doing this when your kids have babies because LB will be the sweetest grandad! ❤
Good evening from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures and your farm
Your videos are beautiful please keep on making them
Love this video of Jen visiting you all!❤️
A little spray of starting fluid into the carb will start many small engines. Works for me often!
Meredith.
You are a beautiful farm wife, so do not change and it is good for your friend to come and visit you. Thank you for sharing your family farm life video. Please take care of yourself.
Richard
Sweet family. Love ya'll.
tell Lawarence that sea foam is great for gas engines and diesel machines, maybe a new plug will help. you folks need a mechanic to come in during winter and maintain all your ecquipment
I just take the Hair clippers and mow all my hear of and when it grows back in i do it all over again.
Good family and friends 👍👍🙏🙏💖💖
I was hoping to see farming. Hay was cut but never saw it. Got a few seconds of spraying. All the problems were easy fixes But never saw anything being fixed.
Why don’t you draw the water from the river? Wouldn’t it be much easier and would save your well water pump.
As always, such an enjoyable video! So great to see you and Jen getting to spend some quality time together. LOVED all the beautiful music at the end! Wonderful! 😊
Wholesome music…perfect ending to a beautiful day 😊
Thought of an idea.
Put 3 connected tanks on a trailer and take the trailer and leave it. You can connect the pump to the first tank. Perhaps you can even set 4x4's under one side to tip the tank to the opening.
Your videos can be so relaxing! Jen is a gem!
What a way to end the session, pick-n and grinning. Two songs that have always warmed my heart and bring a tear to my eyes, “The Star Spangled Banner “ and “Amazing Grace “. Thanks for warming my heart strings. Y’all couldn’t have asked for a better end to a not so great day, Picking and grinning!
I can't believe you check to see if the motor had sparked and not the smart plug. Wow 😢
Wonderful video , and the porch concert was a great way to end , thanks for sharing and God Bless
Warm Summer nights around family and friends. Singing to the sounds of banjo and guitar. Such is the life of a farming family.
that vehicle needs to see the salvage yard lol.
Great video. Austin did great job learning the guitar.
Love the banjo and other string instruments ❤❤
A hard day at work, but a relaxing evening with family and friends on the porch. All well and good at the end of the day.
Thank you, I enjoyed the ride along. Be safe and God Bless you and your family
Sissy and Wes are getting so grown up. Seems like it was just yesterday, when I first started watching your video and they were so little. Time goes so fast.
Awesome video Meredith!
Keep a can of eather or brake clean handy.
My husband and I love your videos. We can relate to your normal. Love the music on the front porch. Our two oldest children learned to play around 23 years ago. Let them know to never be ashamed of their God-given talent. It is very neat to go back and watch videos of when they first started playing. Let Wesley know that I knew that he was playing "Cripple Creek" on the banjo. I heard it many times when our son was learning to play the banjo. ❤
Nice hair cut! ... I agree Wesley I don't go to a Barber either. It's too expensive....good job playing on porch!
There has to be multiple Barber Shops, not salons, in Danville.
that was great
You can buy a set of electric clippers with different attachments that snap onto the blades to control length of cut, makes a haircut almost fool proof lol.
You guy's deserve at least one full time guy. That's a big property to work by yourselves.
Thank you that was awesome Meredith, God Bless you and your's. ❤🙏
Hey Meredith, you tube tutorials are great for teaching you things like how to cut hair.
Meredith, Good to see Jen in this video visit. I know farming keeps you very busy. Loved the end of your video with the music, and singing.
I think I've already said it on this channel? Music is food for the soul...it definitely has an emotional effect..love the channel!!
Spark plugs can get wet. So they don’t spark in the gap. Sometimes you can leave them in the sunlight and they will dry out. The insulator is made mostly from aluminum oxide the same stuff deodorant uses to keep under arms dry.
Really awesome video great music ❤
I love th☹ose small motors they oughta put one in every gym!!!. Usually have something like ezestart emblazoned on the side
A easy way to check small engine start problem. Spray carburetor with small amount cleaner into inlet
Try pulling starter rope, if it starts it’s a fuel problem. If does not start it electrical. There maybe water in the bowl of the carburetor
Great show Meredith,,glad you all are well ,,say hello to your friend from Nebraska for us hillbilly’s
Great capture of the cold start but I had to fast forward through the donuts... love them but on 20 carbs per day... stay safe...
Good evening from Great SC. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Farming is such a noble way of life.
Thanks
Very good video, on the farm something always breaks down.😊
glad you had a good friend visit you and your familys farm its a wonderful blessing to have a friend like her ..by the way she did a good job with wesleys hair ..i was so tickled to see austin playing a guitar god has really blessed that young lady ...as always im praying for you and your family meredith ...thomas in north central missouri
Great video❤
Your friend is the best, and the music suits your family.👏👏👏. Hope you have a great bean crop this year. Take care.❤
even when your days are challenging your beauty comes through and i enjoy the videos . your beauty comes through no matter what
That Westley is such a handsome devil. I was wondering if he'd kept up with his stringed instrument skills, and clearly he has. I was surprised to see Austin with a guitar. She seems to have a handle on it also. Your friend fit right in with the family.
Amen!!😊
More of that banjo please, Wesley!!! It sounds like you are progressing well!
You don't have a corner on the " farming problems" !!! Always someone with bigger problems !!! We are all blessed by the BEST!!!! Thank you Jesus !!!!! Eddy
So where is the burndown?
@@artm5294 it's what they're spraying (or at least what they call it)!
Use Non-ethanol gas in small engines & those problems disappear. Plug probably had a coating of gum on it
great vid. Jen has a beautiful voice.
Awesome video. Blessings
That one tractor gets a work out.
6/7/24 - Wes can pick that banjo ? Enjoyed video , Have a great weekend. Chas.,SC
Picking and grinning.
Great music at the end everyone ! Mer, you could cut hair. Give it a try
Happy Thursday to you and I love your sunglasses
Spray the carburetor down with carburetor cleaner, and then put seafoam in the gas😊
Good evening Merdie and Family and Jen
Glad your friend made it to the farm and visit with Y’all ❤
Nice little music session ❤
Y’all take care Always 🤠❤️😘 Love Y’all
Nice!
Awesome ending praise be to God. God bless each and everyone oh Father!!!
Awesome video Meredith
I love the song Amazing Grace.
Enjoyed the concert and Wes is getting good at the banjo. Hope y'all are doing well
Great video God bless you and your family
Keep it up, we, here look forward to seeing your videos. I'm getting my, sometimes with me, granddaughter who can weld with the best, and was top cattle judge at school, to watch. All those rural skills, and she's doing a nursing degree. (Probably in the hope she'll snare a farmer 😊
Please buy some rubber gloves for working around the sprayer.
A beautiful time with you friend ❤❤❤❤💖💖
Well thank you for sharing meeting your friend and thank you for the video
Wow!! I loved your ending of the video!!!
This was an amazing video!! If you only had one item, than you would only have one thing to work on and worry about breaking down, but the more you have then the more things cause problems 🤗 No matter how much time and effort into maintaining things, you will always be assured you will eventually have a break fown !!! I think Jenny is awesome 🤗🙏
It ain’t just the Barnard Farm it’s every farm something going to break or not work and it comes in 3s!!!🤷♂️🤷♂️
Do not stress your memory on filling the water container...with a permanent marker write on the container the approximate time to fill with water....take care
Try using paint to label your water tank "time to fill".
Paint pen works too. Use it to make date and hours on filters, oil, fuel , etc
What did you think of crumbl cookies ? Personally I don’t think they are worth the cost , I can make them -- 6 cookies $24
Nothing like picking and grinning on the porch,, we used to do that a lot more than we do now great fun,,,, $30 for a haircut!!
❤️❤️❤️🙏
This might be awful to say 😂 but when i now see a beautiful 🦋 I see the end result of a caterpillar 🐛 chewing my veggies and flowers. 😂
Awesome stuff Mer! 👃👃
