Thank you brother! In sha Allah I will. I'm just working on 2 projects right now that are taking up all my time. In sha Allah once I release them in a few months I will get back to making longer videos on RUclips.
Brother, I am from India, specifically from the state of Kerala in South India. My state is one of the places that Ibn Battuta claimed to have visited. There are numerous books about him in many Indian languages. I know of at least five books in my mother tongue, Malayalam, alone. Now, let's get to the point. There's no doubt that Ibn Battuta was a great traveler. However, I have doubts about his claims of having truly seen India. Many of his remarks about India contain fantastical elements that seem far-fetched. One of the Malayalam books I mentioned earlier, published by a well-known Islamic movement in my country, questions his claims. The book is titled "Ibn Battuta's False Stories." Moreover, the world-famous historian Ibn Khaldun, a contemporary of Ibn Battuta, expressed skepticism about his accounts. In his renowned historical work, 'Muqaddimah,' Ibn Khaldun himself states that he doubts some of Ibn Battuta's descriptions. A small portion of Ibn Battuta's description of India is cited in the book. If it is true, then Ibn Battuta portrayed the Indian Sultan as if he were a character from a fairy tale-an incredible and unheard-of depiction, even for Indians. It is possible that Ibn Battuta included in his travelogue stories he heard from others about the places he did not actually visit. This might have led to some mistakes in his accounts. However, it is evident that many such errors may have crept into his work. When I read the book mentioned above in the future, I will make sure to note it here. I have been watching your RUclips videos lately. You are doing a great job. May God bless you, brother.
the fact that he didn't die in his travels is what made him one of a kind
