Yup. And I fell for it.
They literally killed all the hype I had for this game. But putting splinter cell on the thumbnail was a smart move and proves they are aware how much people miss the franchise.
it literally doesn't matter in 2024. the finals had all the hype in the world and died within a month. at least the devs here chose to delay the game to make it not a buggy mess and worth it for the few of us who will stick around

Yeah but they killed it to move onto xdefiant which is crazy. Division is already a known IP & had a stable basis to build off which companies normally love to do. Ubisoft is no stranger to closing stuff down as this points out. I wanted both honesty. Xdefiant is a great callback to old school CoD, but I'm gonna be super upset if they close xdefiant a year later when they closed Heartland for it in the first place.
@@iPlayiOSNo it was it's own thing. Division Resurgence is already out in sort of like a early access state. I had pre registered for it on Google Play but never actually booted it up when I got the green light to download it
Looks like I can't download Resurgence anymore. It may be back to just closed access at this point.

Now that The Finals is dead Ubisoft can release this and enjoy some revenue without competition for 6 months until everyone goes back to what they originally were playing and Ubisoft goes back to the only thing they've made that lasted, Siege.

Despite Ubisoft's reputation Im actually excited for this game - the devs worked on CoD4. They were pretty adamant on listening to player feedback and made the right call to delay when it needed more time in the oven.
I also was one of the people who got to play the betas and it was really straight forward and fun. I hope they took all the player feedback seriously.

For some reason i can’t play the game. After clicking on PLAY it just says modes disabled and doesn’t let me do anything. Anyone help?

How hard is it to just make a Splinter Cell game?
So, despite what we're all saying, they are. A remake (top to bottom) of the original game is in development since 2021. It will be stealth focused, using sound, light/shadow and non-lethal options in gameplay. They're bringing it back.

I think black ops 6 is going to be the best call of duty since black ops 2, hot take but if it's good then xdefiant isn't getting more than 24 hours of playtime this year
Absolutely brilliant trailer if you want the Splinter Cell fans riled up over the lack of love for that franchise.... if that wasn't the idea then not such a good trailer.
I cannot wait until our NDA's are lifted so I can give people my honest opinion on this.

Ngl, this should have been released last year. Would have had a steady community. I'm going to be playing of course. But with Marvel Rivals coming out soon, Overwatch 2 picking up steam. Hard to see this sticking a landing past 1 year

Preload it’s kind of self explanatory but just for you here you go(dumb people refer below)

I was lucky enough to be able to play this during a stress test (i think, or a closed beta idk) back in 2023, and... it was pretty rough, but i'll definitely give it another try now on May 21!

I’m not even gonna give this game a chance just out of spite. They tricked me with the Splinter Cell bait. I paused the video as soon as I saw gameplay and I’m closing the video after I post this. Games already gone from my memory.

I am so hyped. I hate hate cod because the developers are lazy and allow cheaters on console and PC to ruin cod. They put old maps in mw3 remake from the previous mw2 remake instead of creating new maps on cod. They put in broken weapons like double shotguns they are too op. Spawns are bad. Campers aren't punished. Riot shields with shotguns are op. I can keep going about cod and it being the worst fps ever at the moment. As soon as this comes to ps5. I'm done with cod forever. They don't punish racist on cod either not a ban or suspension. Thank you Ubisoft for giving us gamers hope.
