Baki as a whole has been my inspiration to loose weight and work out! 😌💪🏻 I can’t wait for the new season but at the same time I’m sad its gonna end soon.. guess its time to rewatch it again
there are 2 more series (like how the first 2 seasons and second 2 seasons on netflix are separated) so in a few years we should get them

Shout out to Netflix the Baki Dubs are getting better each season.
Honestly I’m really picky about English dub but Netflix Baki’s is among the best I’ve heard. The actor’s do a great job. Really natural delivery by the vast majority of the cast and doesn’t sound like they’re reading off a piece of paper. Also helps that the liberties they take with the English translation script are usually quite good (when Yujiro breaks through the glass to meet Pickle for the first time they change the line from the simple Japanese “I’m here” to “Honey I’m home” which for instance imo is a good way to show some flavor and personality on the part of the character by showing he’s being playful and that he’s not threatened at all despite everyone else being so serious about it.
That being said one of my few complaints is Kirk Thornton (who I usually like) as Yujiro. I feel like it’s a miscast as he usually plays rather soft spoken characters and his Yujiro sounds like a soft guy trying to sound tough. The VA from the original 2000’s series was absolutely perfect imo. Outside of that great dub.

Let's be honest, it wouldn't make much difference! Not only because it wouldn't work, but also because it would risk him copying the technique!
He most probably did when he continuously attacked Yujiro.
Good observation but let's put it this way, this will definitely damaged or even kill to a normal person but try this to a being who can end you with a flick and literally called an ogre it wouldnt really hurt him, this more to be like a poke.
One potential reason, is because as known, no matter who it is facing Yujiro, Every part of the body will say “run”. Who can think straight in such a situation?
@@JBrander I agree with you, he 100% did use it in his flurry of attacks against Yujiro, he used his own style of fighting unseen by anyone before, so pretty sure that move was in there but executed with seriousness and intent to kill since here it was only used for demonstration on an egg.

It's called self defence, the goal in a tournament may be to beat the opponent but the main goal of martial arts that always comes first is self defence.
