I did like the way , how you checked / measured the voltage rails on the PCH , then injecting voltage ! Amazing skills as always, keep it going ! The teaser at the end is the cherry on the top ! Cant wait for that :D
I'm glad you're back. (10:07 - 10:35) When I saw these ohmic measurements, intuition told me that: "game is over." Maybe I would have checked by removing the Super I-O and the Flash Memory and without them inside the circuit, inject voltage and check if the Chipset continues to run hot. If it were so; So that MoBo is in the 119th minute of the second overtime losing 3-0 and at the host's house. A fraternal greeting from Mexico. PS: First time I see that laptop manufacturer. I recognized based on the part numbers of both the IC EC and/or Super IO and the Chipset that it looks very similar (I would say quite a lot) to the Lenovo ThinkPad of recent models (in my opinion the ones with the best quality in their manufacturing, they are NOT cheap ). Since I was intrigued, I will take the time (ugh) to see the ThinkPad models that I find on the NRFix channel up to 4 years old. I just saw that you uploaded a new video but I have to go out with the family (it's Sunday).
German way of doing things! One of the best repair guy on the planet Earth!
Thank you very much!
nice video , glad to see you back Mike, coil measurement always good, will watch part two when able. regards Jim
