I have listened to DEE for a few weeks only now, I am infused with these songs. On continuous play on my laptop...24 hours a day. A wholeplaylist for Woven Hand and 16 Horsepower. I cannot get enough of this music. The raw vocals grab me somewhere deep inside. I wish I knew this man personally !
My favourite version (as of yet) out of all (`Black soul choir´ versions) I have heard him do. Feels so far away, yet very close... Far away from far away, we could say.
im trying to find a certain version of it....i have"the search for the wrong eyed jesus"....i have no doubt theres a better version, that 16 horsepower is in a tent playing it...not secret south...poor mouth but a real video of this song.

well spoken, even the dumbest man can find God, why do so mutch tend to believe what sin tells them to. I been there, i know. Pray please. Confess not to man, but to God and he'll heal. But yet i say this stuff and know there is so mutch sin in myself. Better burn me in life then afterwards. we need to come clean asap.
People who believe in invisible friends as grownups are generally nuts and DEE is no exception. But in a *good* way. He channels something primal that goes far beyond the rational and expected.
Ask Jesus, who is God's Messiah, to reveal Himself to you, to heal you,and to fill you with joy! (This has nothing to do with religion, but the beginning of a direct relationship.) Much love all of you!

Sufjan Stevens is good and everything, but he has no place being mentioned next to DEE.
And viewing mental instability because of ideological differences is generally a sign of an inferiority complex.
