As far as I'm concerned, you won this last week. To hell with the rules, you'd smashed them into oblivion and were hitting their last airfield when the clock stopped. That said, this campaign has been fun, so I'm happy to see it back.
I was waiting for this, though I thought the reds might have called it since they go so trounced the last time. Great series. I think more of these kinds of campaigns would be cool to see even if they are made up.
Been a really awesome campaign. Really well designed and administered, the objectives made tactics really important. I agree, getting the ground and air AEW was the major difference, it just meant Bluefor could put even the Saber's exactly where they were needed at all times. And great flying by everyone, really enjoyable to watch, especially as it wasn't just an endless stream of BVR missiles being fired; there was a lot of skill on show to get missiles and guns on target.
Hello cap Just watched this entire campaign , what a campaign it was ! Great fun to watch , The back and forth throughout the campaign was great to see , the last episode was epic , what a finish for the blues ! Valiant effort for both teams. This era of aircraft I find are the most entertaining , if you do do another campaign , please do it with this era or similar , maybe a Korean war campaign ? Can't wait for more :)
On the subject of nefarious back-channel comms, when pilots are killed in seat or need to eject immediately, they probably wouldn't have been able to call out that they are dead? Those calls give a lot of SA that wouldn't exist IRL
@@grimreapers Fair call. Maybe just something to keep in mind as an unenforcable thing for your more relistic scenarios as dead men tell no tales and pilots in chutes don't have very good radios... 🙂. Wingmen can report whatever they want... Keep up the good work guys.
Hi Cap can you see if CH can model the Tuo Chiang-class stealth corvette from Taiwan its a really powerful Corvette that carrys supersonic seaskimming anti ship missiles. It would be really good for naval battles.
@@mfreed40k There's a theoretical solution for that. Unfortunately, it requires per-pixel optics, so who knows when, or even if, it'll ever become a reality.
If you truly want to recreate the possible dog fight in 65 and 71 action between India and Pakistan - you need to Google Wg Cdr Vinod Nebb (Vrc&BAR) my late father (lost him on 30th Jan this yr ) - you will find detailed videos of him narrating his actual action on RUclips as well
That was some excellent air to air combat. Grim Reapers making ACM look cool.
God I love watching the F-86 dance. It has been a real pleasure to see these older jets cut up the sky. I have very much enjoyed this campaign.
I never get tired of the Grim Reapers and the radio chatter. Good job boys.

Exactly, we wanted to keep it going for as long as we could but the Blues beat us fair and square.
The last landing was true GR style! LOL

These Cold War-era, rear-aspect only missions are the most interesting and entertaining ones GR does, IMO. Would love to see more!
Love the campaigns. Do more please Cap.
Sock's debrief story... lmfao. Incredible mission!
Cap did break the ”rules” though. Pretty sure he was dead when guiding at the end…
He’s the Boss…so its ok 😂
He’s was Strategically assisting, tactically.

Agree but hard to enforce it in the heat of the moment.

29:30 "We hear the choppers coming, coming overhead" this was a army marching song.
Great campaign and great fights by both sides 🤘
That was really bloody good. Love GR campaigns. Signore is ruthless in that Sabre!
Very exciting mission. Great action shots!
The Cap & Signore duo is always good shit. 🤙🏻
Well done Bypass :)
Thank you, Ken.
2 to 1 odds - and still Wins, well done boys!!
41:09 Impressive. Simba hasn't even practiced manual bombing that much, has he? Having a working attitude indicator helps, I suppose (F-5 doesn't)
Good series, enjoyable to watch. Great work! 👍
Loved this campaign, well played all.

Will ask.
What an amazing series! great finale
Loved this campaign, can't wait for the next one.
F-5s finally got their act together
You don't see that much negative AoA very often. Aiming looks fun(ny).
Looks like you needed a few Storm Shadow
lol yes that would help...
Those F-86s though...🤔
Video idea: Modernized F-4 phantom vs Modernized Mig-21
The perfect Grim Reapers end! 🤣
now now, I think someone was using his dead-camera to team assist...
Really enjoyed the series. Sabre is king
WAITER!!! There’s no fly in my video!!
lols. Soup needs more Germans.
Why didn't you guys use mirage iii
No mirage III in Dcs (yet).
Hello Cap! The title is supposed to be "day 7", is it not?
Thanks!!
@@grimreapers Great campaign. It was very entertaining to watch, thank you so much! Looking forward for more :)
Cap where has Fly and Violet been ?
Kortana too
Fly - had to go back to work
Violet - has got bored of DCS and is playing Arma
Kortana - has started a new job and is hard to get hold of ATM
@@grimreapers Yeap life will do that to us.
What Mikeymike1792 said!!!
This is played, ooops, i mean flown in VR correct?
Can be, I use track-ir because my eyes hate vr.
