I wouldn't say the comics are better they're just complete fantasy where Marvel tries to put a semblance of scientific realism. This was a good story but many plot holes. I do like the fact that DC has taken off the training wheels and made the stories more adult themed and graphic.

If Dream is supposed to be _the_ Dream of the Endless, from Neil Gaiman, one of the essential aspects of the Multiverse, so far above Darkside it's not even comparable.

People say this should be made into a movie but the way I see it, it should be made into a game because there's so many mini-bosses that get in the way to fight the big bad Barbatos. And it would be a long game with many different levels and characters.

@@56cea57 Agreed, but then, so are *most* stories where Batman interacts with anyone outside his own rogue's gallery and poses a legitimate threat to them. He's an especially smart, especially fit middle-aged man; there is no possible justification for him being able to fight *anyone* who can fly (or move at all) at high speeds without crashing horrifically, among a thousand other powers that should just completely no-sell him.
The only ones of these that seem at all justified in existing in the first place, much less actually winning, are Dawnbreaker (it seems like he was directly powered by the dark god the entire time) and Murder Machine (he's basically just the product of a runaway Weakly Godlike Paperclip Optimizer that only *thinks* it *used* to be Batman). At any point where a decent-tier hero is anywhere with Line of Sight on the batman who laughs, stabbing him in the face faster than his brain is capable of sending an electrical signal one centimeter is an entirely valid option.

Hey man, just gonna let you know, it may be that you'll never see this comment hell its on a video that's almost 3 years old. But my family just finished going through some hard corona virus moments. We didn't suffer loses but for my parents it was incredibly terrifying for me. Rewatching all your vidoes and hearing the voices you make made this easier. My parents don't speak english very well but hearing how you talk about and for these DC characters they love, made them come alive again. I cant thank the medical staff enough for keeping them alive, but again I cant help but thank you for helping them and myself through the entertainment you give us. I like the idea that he's so fixated on Batman that he feels he _has_ to be the opposite.
Batman is lawful good. He has his own set of morals that he will not cross, and does things in service to the benefit of others(personally I think it's the intersection of both strong personal morals and a belief in law that is important to law vs chaos, because everyone has personal taboos or will obey laws that don't inconvenience them and disobey laws they find morally repugnant). So then the Joker is chaotic evil, doing everything he can to prove that the paragons of virtue are just as corrupt as he is, trying to dash their morals upon the rocks and prove that there is no vow too sacred to be broken.
But in the moral reversed earth(#3 I think), Batman is lawful evil(I'm just assuming good vs evil is flipped). I'm not sure if that one has a personal code that he follows, but he does use the laws as a bludgeon to get what he wants, and ensures that the law is written to undermine those against him. There the Joker is chaotic good, doing everything he can to screw with the corrupt system Owlman created, in service of those who are beaten down by it.
In the white knight, Batman has went off the rails a bit and has stopped caring about innocent lives or massive damage in favor of pursuing vengeance at all costs. This Batman seems chaotic neutral, as he has given up the concern for the innocent people that can be caught in his escapades, and it's gotten so bad the police can no longer accept it as merely "extraordinary means to deal with extraordinary crimes". The joker becomes a lawyer(ran for mayor? Haven't seen that video in a while) and uses the law to try to bring Batman to justice.
So I submit to you that the Joker is Negative Neutral. Whatever Batman becomes, he goes the opposite way. And should batman disappear? Well, each time that happens the Joker retreats into a normal life.
So facing evil batmen is the only chance the joker has to be good.
When all the Dark multiverse Batman came in saying “I am here!” Gabe me chills I can’t wait til they make a animated version 💯

I primarily collect manga, and after that I'm a Marvel guy, but as a metalhead, the title of this story arc just called to me, and it has been one of the best impulse purchases I've ever made from the book store.
The way they introduced this whole story with Joker actually being serious got me hooked. If joker is tied up with something involving the Gods, the Guardians and outside entities you know the story will be LIT

That got kind of confusing at the end with music ships and detective chimp but Batman and Joker teaming up were cool.
Evan [REDACTED] yeah.. the initial idea for the crossover, and most of the origins were really well done, but it at least, in my opinion, should’ve focused more on the fact that these were all different versions of Batman who had their one bad day twist them into something different, and how they each could face their JLA counterparts - case in point, the different Batcaves each Dark Knight had tailored to fight a certain League member. It’s like fighting the Crime Syndicate or the Tower of Babel storyline, but more interesting since it deals with different Batmen.

MCU is times better than anything in the DCEU but it got nothing like Batman TDK or Joker. It's just another level of film quality. Maybe it's because these two are barely comic books movies tbh but depth, character development and meaning will always beat fantasy stories no matter how "epic level" these can be.

@@thebutzel9752 no, multiverse is right, multiple universes=multiverse, no matter the number, though Omniverse isn't wrong, it's just not what people would normally use, it kind of almost gives the idea of the "verse" that the multiverse itself is in, you know? (Marvel multiverse, DC multiverse, and the amalgum multiverse, all sort of 'exist' in an even larger Omniverseal gradient with DC on one side, marvel on the other, and amalgum smack dab in the middle [.......that would kinda make our universe the 'omniverse' that the comic multiverses dwell in lol] )

The worst part is perhaps when Batman dies the joker goes normal and when the Joker dies batman goes evil. That really shows who the sane one in that relationship is.

DC is edgy as FUCK. It is a unique thing that DC has. The only reason I like marvel better than DC is because I like happy endings and shit like that. While DC is over there raping everyone's innocence, I wouldn't be suprised if DC made it canon to have the good guys lose tragically and just end everything like that.

I really LOVE Harley as a hero. I loved her SO much as a villain, but when she is a hero and works with other heroes, my love for her grows so big idk why, i wish she would start a clean slate and try to do good. I would be so happy if i ever found a story just about this.

what i liked about the metal series is that it is proof that batman can not only beat any super powered out there but can get any power he so desires/needs...but the main storyline batman chooses the moral high ground of no powers because......that just wouldn't be fair

@highrollerlion every hero can end timelines. The point of the evil Batman and dark multiverse is to show you that each member of the league can end anyone if gone rogue and planned.
There are evil versions of Superman that ended everyone as well.
There's universes in the dark multiverse were even Lois lane killed Batman.
There's another universe in DCeased and Batman is the 1st hero to die from the infection.
So this Batman worship consider it easily debunked.
See what I like about this series is that it shows us why Batman can't have any real super powers. As a billionaire human genius he does good and fights crime, the very second he gets any real power he immediately starts power tripping and killing everyone.
