I'm not sure what it did when you made the beeping sound to get your dogs attention but it got my Morkie Luka's attention as well. Lol! He came to me and was sniffing around like what was THAT mom?! I’ve got a slightly different version (newer model?). My neighbors’ dogs are terrorizing the whole neighborhood. They’re bad all the time but when they get left alone it’s off the chain. They are literally 20 feet from my window and it sounds like they’re in my house. The owners keep apologizing but all they care about is smoking weed so after a week things get back to the way they were. This device works. Now when they’re barking all I do is open my window - they see me and run inside. I don’t even hit the button. The biggest issue is I’m not always here to train them or I lost track of where I put the device, and I sometimes have to run upstairs to train them. So I really need to find an automatic device….
Hello again family. I received my device today and used it on my neighbors dog. When I use the device The dog paused and looked around and then ran behind the garage and started barking. At this point the dog just runs from the sound, I guess that's a good thing only time will tail. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO REVIEW!
Thank you for making this video! I have a large German Shepherd, and take him on walks every morning. Today we encountered a loose French bulldog that headed directly toward my GS and started to harass him. I could barely control my dog, it was so scary. Thank God the owner showed up and was able to take their dog. Wish I would of had this, ordered one right now.
Just FYI, I have this exact device and it does nothing, zero to stop, interrupt or in any way deter our Dorgi from barking. Perhaps it is the breed. But this device does nothing.
I just bought this and used the cop beam mode on my neighbors American bull dog who tends to growl at us when we walk outside and he started whimpering.
awesome. I am pretty good at training dogs. I have had 2 pitbulls, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and a Golden Retriever/Chow mix and they all have been really good dogs and easily trainable for the most part. Except for the spaniel who always peed when she got excited lol. But aside from that she was a good dog. I have always had well behaved dogs. I rescued another Pit off the hot streets last summer. It was 104 degrees out and this little 3 mo old puppy had been roaming the courthouse where I was doing contract work at. ( I am a landman that does land deed research and does chain of custody, it can take up to a month sometimes to properly chain out custody of a section of farm land which is 640 acres) Anyway So I found this pup roaming around and everyone had said he had been running around for a month and people have been feeding him. I decided to rescue him because he did not need to be out in that heat with out proper water and proper food. Anyway hes over a year now but he is a big time barker. He will bark out of boredom and he also Barks when he has to go outside. This makes this difficult because when he starts barking I do not know if he has to go outside to pee/poop or if he is just bored barking. I want to train him to hanging bells off the door handle to alert me when he needs to use the bathroom and I want to nip his bored barking in the bud. I do not like using shock collars at all, and was at a loss of how to correct his barking behavior. I am glad I found this video. I will for sure be trying this. Thank you for the wealth of information.
@@trf.product.reviews I actually ended up getting a vibration, non shock collar that also can emit a high pitch beep that comes with a remote. I felt that was the better option in general. So now when he barks out of boredom or start chewing on things or I catch him digging holes in the back yard I can hit the remote which sends a very strong vibration to the underside of his neck and it immediately snaps him out of it. I also decided on the remote collar because I did not want to bother my other pit who is really chill and my rescue pit who is the problem child can not hang around him with out wanting to always play so I can use the collar to just isolate him and get him to stop. The sound device I felt might have been a problem for my other dog when they are near. I may still pick this up though as it looks like it is really good training product as well.

Just talked my step daughter into buying this. Her upstairs neighbor has a dog that barks all day, and especially at night. She complained to the leasing office, and even called the cops one time. Now her is being a butt hole since he figured out whose complaining, and puts the dog in the bedroom during the time she sleeps. Hope this works through ceilings.
I am interested in your comment, because there was nothing in the video that actually showed a dog barking and then stopping when the device was used. Have you found anything that DOES work - because talking calmly to my neighbour about her dogs yapping at me every time I go into my garden has NOT WORKED!!
Is it that they don't know how to stop the dog? Personally my neighbour wouldn't have to come to me. Id go to her and say 'hey. I'm sorry if this bothers you. I'm working on it " I don't like to bother people. I'm getting this before it becomes a problem because she is very soft spoken and a little shy (so she may not say anything).
If they're barking inside the crate, you shouldn't use an anti-bark device on them. Crating isn't for every dog and if they're persistently barking in the crate it's because they're very stressed. Removing their ability to express that stress isn't solving the stress problem, just forcing that stress into a different behaviour.
@@JimiInTheJungle It doesn't hurt him as such, but technically you are trying to train the dog under negative reinforcement!!, that's why the dog doesn't like it, or is "scared", so at a certain point you are screwing the neighbor's dog with this " patch". Could this help with barking inside of a crate specifically? I rescued a dog who doesn't bark except for inside of his crate
Ehhh, I'm not behavioral specialist but if they associate this with the crate, they're likely to hate the crate even more I'd think.
If they're barking inside the crate, you shouldn't use an anti-bark device on them. Crating isn't for every dog and if they're persistently barking in the crate it's because they're very stressed. Removing their ability to express that stress isn't solving the stress problem, just forcing that stress into a different behaviour.
Definitely not when dog is in the crate. Dogs don’t like to be confined unless transported but even then nope. Not necessarily humane
but wouldnt this be a reason for a neighbor to sue u .. it seems tht way especially considering how most people are ..
How would they kno?
Sue for what? There's no harm being done to the dog. If anything the owner should be sued for letting their dog disturb the neighborhood.
