Holysh!t man that was funny. I don’t care who you are those things suck. Lol. Thanks for the shout out bro, it’s much appreciated. The light is beautiful and I take back what I said in an earlier vlog, it’s definitely worth the cost. In performance of course appearance. Nicely done dude, ride safe and keep the shiny side up.
Cheaper than the light I put in mine. ;-) I put in a JWSpeaker 8690 adaptive headlight and I am not disappointed at all. The stock light on the bobber is alright, but not really great. Now, you just need a dark evening to show off your new light. :-)
@@jay_fast I just got the new indian comfort seat for the bobber only got about 30 miles on it but compared to the orginal one its alot better... if you need the part number I will post it for you.
@@bobayotte2940 the new Comfort seat from Indian is 2884226-VNA its $250.00. But it's still better then the orginal stock, but not as pricey as a Corban...best advice I can give is see if they have 1 in stock and make them put it on a bobber and feel the difference before you buy it.
thanks for the install video. I haven't yet picked up my bike until tomorrow and I already bought the Pathfinder headlight. Like you said, the headlight is worth paying the extra money. It gives it a retro futuristic look that you don't get with any other headlight.
I had the JW Speaker one that lit your turns for you. It was better and brighter BUT started freaking out after only a few weeks. This came out at around the same time and it is bright and a definite upgrade from the halogen. It's not JW Speaker bright and has a crappy pattern compared but it works without freaking out. It also looks SO good in the bucket especially when you leave the key in park mode......
iamjtbe it’s my favourite looking light for the bike. I was also looking at the adaptive headlights from JW Speaker. The only reason I didn’t was I saw the FTr and knew I wanted that light. Then. They released it for the bobber. Win win. But I agree. It’s def not the best light for the dollar. But it’s solid.
Hey word to the wise, taping that cover onto the light makes it easier to get those bastard clips in and still keep the light aligned properly. It looks like the FTR light is made for the same cover (which makes sense) but trying to do this with another brand like eaglelight is a real bastard. Mines off centre and i keep meaning to fix it.... but the weather is nice
Very, very nice done, m8!!! I installed the Wisamic Halo Headlight from Amazon, cheaper than the Pathfinder, ofcourse, but the Pathfinder still kicks damn ass!!!!
I also installed the Wisamic as well, black with the Halo. It works a ton better too. The pathfinder looks awesome , it’s just that expensive price tag man. Saving money for other accessories like bags and a sissy bar.
Mississippi Motoman it’s great to see the aftermarket stepping up and supplying more and more options for owners. Also let’s you choose something that not everybody has👍 Seems like everyone has the pathfinder light now.
Jay Fast it’s an awesome looking light ... but mine was a bitch to install too with those bastard clips... same as you.. Anything to keep the rubber down though . The stock light was and still my biggest complaint and question mark. It is dangerously dim if you get caught out when the sun goes down.
Spend another $100 & get the J.W. Speaker 8690 adaptive 2. I love my Indian, but a lot of their aftermarket “upgrades” are inferior to other manufacturers’ products
Walter Savage I am inclined to agree with you. I’ve never ridden with that headlight. But I rode behind meatball rebel and he had one in his chieftain. The headlight was amazing. Always projected the perfect amount of light in the corners. It looked good and was super bright. That’s the way I was leaning till these came out. That being said. I just personally love the look of this headlight. So it wins my vote. But. If someone was after the best light. I’d say you are right.
Jay Fast yeah I love the look of the Indian headlight too. I pretty much love all things Indian & their iconic graphics. You obviously have excellent taste lol!!....& I really enjoy your videos. Oh Canada 🇨🇦!!!
Coldsnap FadeAway I’d have to disagree. Where did you get this info? No scout has ever had an LED headlight. I know it’s technically called the pathfinder headlight. But this is the same headlight found in the FTR.
@@jay_fast Because the Scout Pathfinder headlight was out before the FTR was released. I know this because I have a Scout, and I've bought this headlight.
Coldsnap FadeAway well I have a scout too. And I’ve also bought this headlight. I purchased it on Jan 30/2019. Yes. The FTR was delivered to dealers mid May/2019. At least here in Canada. But the official release of the ftr was early oct 2018. Anyways. The only thing you can really nit pick would be me calling it the ftr headlight and not by the name Indian gave it. The path finder headlight. Which I clearly call it in the beginning of the video. But. I still appreciate your view and your impeccable taste in motorcycles. Ps... I’m right you’re wrong 😝
@@jay_fast Really mid may? It was almost July when our Indian Dealers got them in my state... And yea, I have a 2017 Scout Sixty. It has a Crusher Maverick exhaust, Screaming Scout Intake, and a Tune. It's a blast to drive. My only complaint is that I have forward controls, so the lean angle isn't that great.
Coldsnap FadeAway nice. Great setup. Are you going to convert to mid controls? I swapped my rear shocks and went a bit taller. Helped out on comfort and handling. Went with the nitron r3
Hi......! Can i ask what front tire stand you are using ! Is this is mounted to the floor or just free standing! I love the led light just ordered ! Thanks be safe
ARCZI .P it can be mounted to the flor of a trailer or something but mine is free standing. Very portable. It’s called a sport chock by Baxley trailer co. Www.baxleycompanies.com
CHAKA55 yes to all. If you search my videos you can see the install of my Vance and Hines grenades. You can also see my stock dyno run. As well as my performance tune. I have one video of just the dyno run. I have another video of the dyno runs as well as me explaining what I did to the bike.
bia9977 well. I swapped them. But when I was trying to edit I was missing a bunch of footage. But now that I’ve done a few where I disassemble the front end in other videos I can forgo that missing footage and tell views to reference the other videos. They are joker machine duel rat eye. Quite like them. Still need to do the rears.
@@jay_fast Thanks! I bought one of the $50 Amazon specials and while it looks great and is brighter, the plastic face has faded and has a milky look in a very short time. If I spend money on the Pathfinder headlight it should be glass.

Light looks extremely brighter than the stock one, now just to see what it looks like at night, great video.
I can do that

Nice! That’s the direction I was heading till I saw this light. You really do get what you pay for!
That intro is the best thing I've seen on RUclips XD
Ha. It started out as an inside joke between some buddies. And it just kept on giving

Nice! Like you, ordered mine months ago but chickened out on the install and had the dealer do it. Looks 1000x better
It really does look better. 👍
Hahaha rolling. I replayed that intro about 10 times. I don't think I've ever heard someone make that noise before 😂
Ha. Well same. Every time I click to respond to a comment the video restarts. So I’ve heard it many many times now.
Ya, got to have ! Probably won't be long before the aftermarket replicates this one closely.
Ya. Be interesting to see what they come out with!
Light looks great and the video was bad ass.
Thanks. Now I’ll be able to guide my way through the night to Cali.
Thats awesome. Love what your doing to the bobber man.🤟
Jorge Gonzalez thanks. Appreciate that!
Great video dude. Very helpful. Just got mine the other day so will be installing tonight.
Tekhed454 nice. It’s a great light and looks amazing I think you’ll be really happy with it
@@jay_fast Although I wasn't quite as fast or efficient as you with the spring clips, (haha) the install was rather easy. And yes it's a great light.
Man those clips are giving me so much trouble! I've been repeating your video for the last half hour lol
I do them in a cross pattern. So think like a clock. 12 then 6 then 9 then 3.
The last is always the worst. But you can get it!
Looks good. Love the halo on that light.
Thanks. Ya I just fell in love with the look of the light.
Nice work Jay!

Great video sir! Just ordered mine.
