awesome thanks man. Yeah sometimes I just put in D5 so the mds doesn't come on. mileage goes down by 5 miles per gallon on Highway thougg

stock headers and stock cats. From cat to the back it's all corsa (pipes, mufflers and resonators)

I guess I would like to know if MDS drones at highway or interstate speeds which is 70mph or 112km as you are in europe I assume. Like with cruise control on....long trips I don't want to be unbearable
+Scott Petermann It drones, but not too much if you don't go uphill. I'll try to record the drone in the next few days and upload a video. On longer trips you could simply 'upshift' (padels/shifter) once so that the car is in manual mode and mds is disabled. This is how we do it most of the time if the MDS drone gets too annoying for the backseat passenger.
Should I get this or the corsa extreme or slp loudmouths?
Do you get drone when MDS kicks in? I don't want to change my exhaust have drone.....its annoying as hell....my car costs $52000....don't want to make it an annoying 52k car....lol
+Scott Petermann In MDS it definitely drones. It's not too bad if you are not accelerating/going uphill or driving at the edge of mds (about 144km/h). Easiest way to avoid drone would be to disable MDS.
It's a catback system.
curious does that have the original resonator or is that delete? or did the kit come with new resonator?

I thought corsa exhaust eliminated drone all together...one of your replies said the drone was annoying. is it bad compared to other exhaust you heard?
+rocjr91 We thought that as well. Could be that we did something wrong while installing it, but I don´t think so. Its probably meant to be drone free in 8 cylinder mode.
If you get used to it, you can live with the drone in 4 cylinder mode. While cruising at constant speed without going uphill, it's there, but it isn't bad. But if you go uphill or slowly accelerate in 4 cylinder mode, better press the upshift pedal for manual mode - especially if you have passengers in the backseat.
The 8 Cylinder mode is completly drone free - even the stock exhaust of our previous 300 SRT (MY2006) droned, but the corsa doesn´t. Magnaflow seems to drone pretty bad, Borla on the other way seems to be ok. Glasspack/Blastinbobs drone badly. Most aftermarket solutions seem to drone badly even in 8 cylinder mode. Some people may not notice that, or just don´t want to notice. Or they are fine with droning.
+Michael R in that case im gonna get it because if what u say is true it'll be great on the 13 Charger srt8 I just brought...Corsa was my only option for exhaust solely because or their "No Drone" technology! I heard MagnaFlow drone bad smh thanx a lot!!!

You are welcome. If you don´t mind 1-2l more fuel usage per 100km, I´d suggest to turn of MDS.
Did you hear a corsa sport live? It´s not as loud as other systems while off throttle and in low rpms. Still 1000 times better then the stock one and perfect if you use your car on a daily basis and want it quiet sometimes.
btw, did you see any performance gain or loss? or definite feeling of HP or torque with exhaustm
It felt a bit more 'free' in high rpms right after we installed it. The car dynoes at about 510 hp (no mods other then the Corsa and LPG for fuel economy) at the crankshaft so it probably gained a few horses, but we didn't do a comparisson on the dyno.
Even stock doesn't sound bad at all. I might get one of these because it's cheaper than a scat pack or daytona but better than an RT
its a good buy sense its technically a scat pack so you're saving money in the long run and not missing much power and torque.

Ima guess same 392 6.4 motor only real difference is the body style and the trans srt8 has 5spd the scat has a 8spd it was the scat before the scat pack in my opinion
Are you still in Germany? I have only seen 1 other SRT8 in the KMC area and it was white.

Michael R I got my Corsa exhaust in but nothing is open to get it installed.😔
