We did feel the same on this. We considered moving them inside to be visible but there needed to be at least some airflow unfortunately. Perhaps NZXT should develop an H700i with a smoked glass front panel? Haha
That sounds like a upcoming mod/video you should do. I bought the H700i after watching this video and Kyles as well. I'm really happy with it. But I wish NZXT offered 2 ports for rgb/led on the i-device.
Was looking for a NZXT everything build. Looks good, thanks for sharing. I know that the clearance of the GPU bracket is quite tight but I'd have loved to see a custom NZXT backplate for that GPU. And perhaps some cablecombs.
I've Asus TUF Z390-PLUS GAMING (WI-FI) and it's only one USB 2.0 internal header and I need at least three, two of them for PC case NZXT H700i and one for Corsair Hydro Series H150i PRO RGB 360mm Liquid CPU Cooler. I'm stuck now because of only one USB internal header on my motherboard. What do I do now. Any suggestion, please. Also there is a 4-pins USB header on that motherboard. I want to find out whether that 4-pin can be used somehow to connect 8-pin female connector.
Hey! I have a question. I just finished my build. I have an H700i case, a Z390-E motherboard and a x72 kraken cooler. My motherboard only has two USB 2.0 pins. The case has front panel usb cable and the usb for the controller (Only has four cables red, white, green, and black) And my X72 Kraken also needs to use a usb header. I did what you guys did in the video of connecting the x72 cable with the cable of the controller that came in the case. CAM does not detect my cooler. Any help?
@@zlmexigamerlz1467 That is what I was wondering too. But the thing is that the hose reach from the AIO would have to be on the far or close end and the hoses may not reach all the way over to the back left side of the case where the graphics card is.
Hello sir! Beautiful build other than the rgb being hidden by the front. I have an important question that I have not been able to find the answer to. I was wondering if it was possible to use a x72 instead of the x52 that you used for the gpu while still having it be able to fit in the case. I am using basically the same set up as you but I want to use two x72's in my build. The issue is that I believe that because of the power supply shroud, that the hoses for the front mounted radiator would not be able to reach the GPU with the g12 installed. If you go to the video at 3:58 it may make a bit more sense. I want to use a x72 instead of the x52. But I don't know if the hoses will reach. If you are able to find out then please let me know! Thank you very much!!!
It is possible but not reccomended, as the logo will be obscure and in a different position than intended. Generally you can route the aio tubes around the ram slots or to your preferance. I use the h200i with x42 and have the aio route along the top of the case to the radiator..
Did you use two HUE controllers for this build? Just asking because I noticed that the triple fan package includes another one in the box. I'm working on a very similar build with two X72 Krakens so I would love to know.
I went to the pc store, and he mounts the x62 on the top just like you but in the opposite side the fans on the top and the radiator in the bottom does this will effect on cooling or anything else?
whether u push air through or pull air in its the same affect essentially, plenty of youtubers have done tests around this topic (i'd recommend JayzTwoCents)
hi i installed how do you show the radiator inside the case upper part to cool cpu i bought nzxt rgb fans i realized that the air flow is not pushed towards the radiator but inside the case can you help me solve the problem? thanks Francesco
Hi, I want to build a PC for the first time, but I am doubt about how configure the air flow inside the case. How can I know in which places I have to take new air and to where I have to put off the heat air? In this case, I see the fans are bellow the radiator for the CPU cooler, they are taking heat air or they are putting fresh air? Excuse my noob questions.
Pretty much have the same build, x72, 9700k, 2080ti ftw3 and the full black h700 case with the Aer fans, 3x 120mm up top and 1x140mm in the rear of the case. X72 is in the front fans facing out.
Thanks to you I bought the same setup. The only thing that is bugging me is that I can't connect the led strips and the AER RGB fans in the smart device all together, how did you do that?
The fans are all connected directly to the motherboard, not the Smart Device (and for speed control they connect to the Kraken splitter cables). The motherboard has two lighting channels of its own, so we connected four of them to one channel, and two remaining fans to the other. The Smart Device was used only for the LED strips.
In terms of fan speed or lighting? Fan speed I think should be fine - you can just set them to respond to Kraken temps - but lighting they will be different channels since the Kraken lighting channel only includes the pump, since the default fans are not RGB. Not sure if there's currently a way around this.
Any idea why my aer fans cant perform spectrum wave or multi color effects? They do breathing, fading changing color but like marquee or spectrum wave they stay in one color
Basically, a USB 2.0 header supports up to two ports or devices. Each port or device uses four wires. The Kraken coolers are only one device but they use a full size USB 2.0 header, so there are four empty/wasted slots. The mod simply takes the wires out of one header and puts them into the spare slots on the other header, and thus you have two devices on one header! As long as you get the wire orientation correct, this will work with any USB 2.0 device or port :)
Cool video! Is it better to cool the cpu with the x74 or the gpu? Actually, can you do that because of space? Which one is better, cooling both cpu and gpu with x64 or the gpu with x74 and the cpu with x64 ???
oh i get it now sry for posting that comment correct if i am wrong though----the hue+ device is not needed when the nzxt n7 mobo is included and the fans are connected to the mobo meanwhile the led strips are connected to the smart device that comes with the h700i case plz someone tell me if thats correct thnx......nice vid....u earn my sub and like

Temp of the gpu? Do you think I should buy a water-cooling 1080ti from gigabyte or just a normal air cooling gpu and install kraken gpu water-cooling? Thanks
We haven't stress tested this system but the Gigabyte card will have cooling designed specifically for its VRM and memory, while the Kraken relies on the generic fan only. That said, with Kraken coolers you can use larger radiators, so you should see lower GPU temps - remember to buy a card that's compatible if you go this route!
Installed G12 and x62 on Aorus 1080ti, no issues. Ambient temps at idle. Mid to High 60’s in Far Cry 5 Ultra at max clock on an x34 display at 100hz. Same case. Hope that helps...
The motherboard is being cooled by the fans inside the case, the water cooler used on the cpu/ processor, is needed to cool a high end cpu/overclocked cpu, if you buy a cpu less than $300 there is no point to liquid cool it, a nice 6-7 heat pipeline air cooler will cool it
you should put some RGB on your mustache, it's 2018 after all. great vid btw!
There is actually a video floating about the net of me sporting a set of RGB beard LEDs I received for Christmas!
Sometimes when I'm watching I pretend every verb in the script is a variant of mustache
Parts used in this video:
Intel Core i5-8600K
G.Skill TridentZ 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3,600MHz
NZXT H700i
NZXT N7 Z370
NZXT Kraken X72 cooler
NZXT Kraken G12 GPU bracket with Kraken X52 cooler
NZXT Aer RGB 120 triple pack
NZXT Aer RGB 140
Damn, great build, great moustache...you have a sub sir!
wasted RGB fans in front of case :(

What about doing a push pull configuration?
Cleanest build I’ve ever seen!! Great job!!!
Thanks John :)
props to having the actual nzxt build including the gpu
Nice one! I had same idea for my future built after seeing the NZXT mobo for the first time.
All I can look at is the mustache
that nzxt board is probably one of the best looking ones i’ve ever seen
Now that’s a true NZXT build
You had a nice choice of components!
I did this exact build except 2 krakens x62 and I have a vertical mount for the gpu (so you see 2 nzxt logos)
Crown Clown ive been thinking abt this idea, how does it look? I just might do that if it looks good
Can i see a photo bro... im thinking of making the same for my 1070
What is the gpu? any temp difference? pictures?

Does the g12 explain how you plug in 2 aios in your motherboard?
have a sub, good effort. and bloody good tip about the usb headers! Thanks!

You need more subs bruh! great video
That usb header mod did come in handy cause my corsair aio and psu were taking 2 headers for link cables.

Is it possible to install dual Kraken x72 in 700i case?
Yes (y) of course , kraken x72 for processor and one for kraken g12

what directions are your fans blowing ?
are all the uptop and back fans blowing out or in ?
so all the 120mm fans are for the radiators ?
is it possible to turn the aio tubes to the left side or the turning the logo so they are not blocking the ram view?

Question on the AER RBG Fans. Do you need the Hue in order to light up the fans? or what way? Thank you
Can you pls make a video how you poted all the things in there
Does the motherboard come with the rgb strip input or the hue+ or 2 is still needed to control?
How do you sync the RGB on this motherboard? What brand is compatible with NZXT's RGB software?
Does anyone have the specific parts list of this build? Primarily the GPU that's used with the mounting kit.
its more quiet that regular water cooler ?

So can change the ram color too?
any brand ram?
are there no vram cooling needed with the kraken g12?
no thermal paste for the GPU once you modified it?
Im doing this exact same build but with X62 Kraken Coolers, also with an i7 bc i5 and GTX 1080 ti
Thinking of using x62 too however with motherboard only having 2 usb headers how have you connect front ports, x62 and the smart box?
do you not need to thermal pad or alumnium heat sink the vrams on the gpu?
I've got an idea! Use a vertical GPU bracket so the GPU is next to the window because it's water cooled so it won't affect the temps that much.
Is it possible for you to put together a part list for this build?
Details here: www.bit-tech.net/features/tech/pcs/video-nzxt-n7-370-build-log/1/
What power supply did you use?
Does the case come with LED strips?
why the hell did you put the rgb fans on the gpu cooler on push configuration???? you can't see the rgb like that
think that one through some more. if he had them w/ Pull the RGB's would be facing the radiator, would look stupid there too

BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 cables. If you're UK based then Overclockers UK is where we got them.
Thank you. One more question - where did the Hue+ get installed?
It didn't. Hue+ is integrated directly into the motherboard so it has two independent lighting channels, so Hue+ wasn't needed.
