The Color Purple re-envisioned is about being seen in a world where invisibility of black talents, skills and abilities are marginalized, discounted or overlooked. This remake is a REBIRTH and a message from our ancestors to keep "Hope Alive" that is and is a reflection of Black Greatness that cannot be erased from History. That's because this movie is a reimagine based off the 2005 Broadway musical play and Fantasia played Celie on Broadway.
