This was an epic weekend! Can't lie, it's had me lusting after another 4mo Transporter for weekends away in the UK. Thanks for the shout out in the description 🥰
I’ve done loads of days with Land Rover doing this sort of thing but in a van….. just wow 😂 Kudos for doing it, goes to show really how capable they actually are with the right tyre set up too.
Even if this video was an hour long I would still have watched it beginning to end. Awesome. So glad I bought a 4 motion. Wonder how the auto gear box would have managed though !
That was an epic fun video 🤘🏽 150 bucks each tire? And how much were the wheels? They have grown on me.. thinking of going with the swamper look now too. Also liking the black bumper stick ons if u have a link please?
Love this! Looks like you did it without rear diff lock too? Amazing how capable they are, the DSG is a bit of handicap when trying to crawl but they will go places you really don’t think they could.
@@davidbeddoes2094 you can but the gearing isn’t really low enough to rock crawl. If you spec hill descent you can use that to help control speed as it’ll keep it in lowest gear.
Not something i wouldn’t do with my van i have a 4x4 for that lol but it show how good the 4motion is which would give me confidence in it for snow etc

Love the look of your van. Wheels and tyres make it look awesome. What’s the make & model of your rims? Can you advise who supplied them? thanks. Great channel!
Even though mines a 2WD i wouldnt take it off roading, a little dirt track to get to a park up is about it... Where did you get those front rubber mats mate?
love the channel.. but have quick question... I have a 2021 Multivan with diff lock and want to get moe suitable off road tyres. In their wisdom VW shod this with 18" wheels making AT tyre options limited. what are the rims and tyres you have one the transporter?. I was contemplating getting a set of 17" wheels to give me more options. btw do the tyres you have one there at the moment scrub..Cheers from Oz
Hi mate. I have 17s. Since this vid I have changed to gileda’s. If you are in oz. Reach out to kombi life. They import from the same place I get my stuff. And say hi from me 👍🏻
Just bought a VW T6 high line day van to replace my motor home …also have the same Engwe as you ..good value bikes BUT I’d suggest you look at the vids on RUclips as Engwe frames snapping under load ( hump jumping / bunny hops) wouldn’t want to see you in a heap wearing an Engwe necklace ( reckon that might sting a bit) 😆😆brilliant vid ..just subbed 👍
Please go down/up hills slightly sideways and not full frontal, that way you avoid hitting the bumpers and it is not so close. Worse driving at 7:10, you never go down full frontal like that, turn those wheels and go slightly left or right. At least at 8:10 it is done properly
@@urbanarkoverland Thanks for the response. I ordered 225/65/17 for my car and was afraid they would be too big, but they look great on yours. You make great videos, congratulations! 👌
