Can you come over an do mine? I’m struggling with the V-Shaped metallic sticks, that comes under the matress… the screws are soo tinyyy. How are they supposed to give stability to a mattress…
Hi, THANKS ALOT for this video, gave me more understanding of what I'm ordering. It appears you used a slat already setup/coupled from a bag....what slat was that? Did you have to get two slats? ie for top bed and bottom bed? I don't want to miss a thing in my order. 2nd question if you don't mind: What's the maximum size of the mattress you think i should buy for the bottom bed given it has to be able to roll in and out easily when not in need? Cos i plan to buy a high bed for the top part. Thanks for your help Erik. (My sons namesake by the way and its his bed hahaha)
Hey Erik, can you say if the bed can be assembled without the slats for the pull-out mattress? I want to use the pull-out just for storage, not as a bed. I'd like to be able to store a large piano keyboard in it. Would it hold together without the slats? Or maybe just put slats at the ends, if they are needed for structural strength?
@@erikstodene4370 its arrived and it seems fine - it says it supports up to 100kg? In ireland adults sleep in single beds and its the standard single bed dimensions. I have slept in my previous single bed since i was a child until now at 40
@@traceymarshall5886 I hope it works out good for you! We work a lot in the forests in Sweden and we are quite large up here in the North. Also we like to share beds sometimes.....
Well deserved nap after hard work of assembling this bed

Im thinking of buying this bed for me...im 40. Im sure its fine. It says 100kg weight limit

Hello there!!!
Yes they come separeatly, go speak to your IKEA staff. They can guide you, therse a lot of options! Take care :)
What mattresses do you need for both beds
does it comes with one or two matresses?
Does the bed itself come with the pull out part or do you buy it separate?
Hi! What’s the width with the lower bed pulled out? Thanks!
www.ikea.com
Does the underbed come with a mattress or do you have to order one seperately?
Hello there!
All the pieces are sold separately, checkout ikea homepage.
hi if you don't mind, how tall are you and about how much do you weight? fro reference in buying it since I did see you slayed in the bed.
Hello and thanks for your comment!
The bed is 6feet 6 inches x 3 feet. Remember it's a kids bet.

The pull out bed does nothing for the structure. So you can put a toaster or a piano underneath. Thanks for watching man! :)
Hi is the bed good for adults?
No
@@erikstodene4370 lol thanks
Hi just wanted to ask if the slatted bed base comes together with the bed frame
They dont connect.
Hello, can you choose at what side the bed on the bottom rolls out? Or is it at one side only? Thanks for the video and for your reply 🙂
HELLOOOOOOOO Kiberly G!!!!!!!
You can roll it out at witch way you want it. Rollin rollin rollin.
Im thinking of buying this bed for me...im not a kid. Its a standard single bed size in europe for adults

What size mattress is that? How thick is it?
That is the MALFORS mattress. 200x90 cm about 3" thick
How long did it actually take you to assemble it??
This is me building the kids bed Släkt from IKEA in just over 2 hours. But you just have to watch 2 minutes.
How satisfied are you with the product? I’ve read some reviews saying that it squeaks a lot and I wanna know if it does?
Hello there!
There is better beds out there, remember that it's a kids bed. It doesen't squeek with a child in it. But iam wery happy with the bed.
@@erikstodene4370 im thinking of buying this bed for myself...it seems like a standard size and not a "kids bed"
Is it durable?
For a kid, yes!
Can’t keep up with the speed not helpful
Yea, sorry for that. And i even run the video slow :)
