Thanks for watching! It depends on the furniture. You have to guestimate on the size and the intention of the creator. Whatever you do dont over tighten, you will brake the wood.

Thank you for your feedback, the with is 50 mm and you can find it at your local upholsery shop. Somtimes they are on ebay.

@@debosfriend1 I have the same chair as well and as far as I know it's the capella chair by illum wikkelsø. I don't think they're from IKEA...
