  • First ride out on the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Xe. Thanks to www.bransonsmotorcycles.co.uk for allowing me to test ride this adventure bike/ street bike crossover. Is it the perfect fit for me? What better way to find out than a freezing cold test ride...

Good review, only seen this today. I brought that actual bike( yes this actual bike) a few months ago and love it. Ideal for thrashing around the local Cornish lanes. Really enjoy the V&H pipe, seat is terrible though.

This bike is a queen between this classic style off road big bikes. She’s a Beauty!
Full of character but has the main collection of modern gadgets that we find on the top class bikes. I see it as a bike to ride mostly on solo, but it can handle a passenger in the back and some luggage on the left side. It’s pleasant to ride on every kind of road. I’ve ridden for two years a BMW r nine. It’s well known that it is a naked bike too, and on highways never felt too much the disadvantage of the wind blast (on this type of bike unconsciously, we tend to ride on moderate speeds, because the wind becomes an issue), once noted the limits of comfort being defied, the rider adapts and naturally brings down the speed to those patterns where we feel comfortable. The bike does everything but the longer rides on highways it’s not the ideal route for a bike like this, if we want to travel fast.
The heat that comes from the exhaust is the price we must pay for the privilege of riding a bike that is a queen amongst a realm of very dull and all alike bikes that fulfill our roads. It’s like going out on a sharp suite and being annoyed by the tie we’ve got to wear. It’s part of the aesthetic and reputation of a bike that carries a strong sign of tradition and heritage in its design concept. It’s not only another common bike. It’s art what we are riding and not just another bike. It’s living tribute to a type of machine that became famous in the past and for me that’s a value to understand and to savor. That’s why I think this Bonneville style of bikes that Triumph proudly keeps manufacturing are not to compare with the rest of the bikes we have in the present, and still they ride well and they’re are modern enough to behave and prove itself as capable alternatives on the Market. That’s an achievement.
Man, this bike is a keeper! 👌🏻

Beautiful colour 😎👌 got to say I love mine and for me was the best decision swapping from the tiger 900 as for right leg don’t put it down lol 😂 that exhaust makes you cover your back brake ☝️

thanks for watching, its actually a very nice bike, they wouldn't have sold many of it was burning the riders i guess.

I have been thinking about getting one of these, mostly because it might offer some relief from the bomb craters on our UK roads. Also because I really dislike cleaning bikes and scramblers look alright dirty. I`ve herd, heat from the standard exhaust is fine. Thank you for the review.
