    I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the new Triumph Scrambler.
    I was initially taken with the looks of the bike, never before having actually ridden a Triumph.
    I put a deposit down in April 2024, and took delivery in June 2024.
    After riding the bike for a few weeks, I really like it, and enjoy all the great features of the bike.
    The torque and power, and the comfortable riding position really make the bike.
    It’s a bit heavy, which I am getting used to. The suspension is a bit stiff compared to my KLR650 and CRF300 Rally, but for a bike of it’s size that’s to be expected. Down here in Texas that exhaust heat is a real factor, but it is not a deal breaker for me.
    Our winters here in Texas are erratic, but, I’m hoping that the exhaust heat will help out in the colder months.
    I have yet to take the Scrambler off-road, but am looking forward to it. Everyone says that it’s very capable off-road.
    Thanks for a great, informative review.
    Happy Trails!

      What’s up brother, Gen 3 klr650 rider here. I really like the scrambler but have not ridden it. Did you trade in your KLR for the scrambler or do you own both?

    Good vid with regards decating there is a procedure to follow after fitting one start bike don’t touch throttle let it tick over until fan comes on switch off restart and the engine management system will reread and it will be fine I done that with my 2019 t120 no problem.

    They took a stock version on the Baja 1000 race - and it did very well. I would say that it is a very capable bike off road....Just too nice to thrash. The XC not as good as it doesn't have the travel the XE does.

    Super bike! I'd prefer a bigger tank but thats the only slight niggle. (Mmm its 16 perhaps a bit harsh)
    I wouldnt be returning it to the garage. There would be floods, an internet black zone, a plague of frogs etc

    I love my Steve McQueen model XE.
    750 miles and find it is superior to the vast majority of motorcycles out there.
    This is my 53rd bike to own in 16 years.
    My Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is now up for sale because I prefer the Triumph so much more.

      I got #481.changed the ugly mirrors to the TECBIKEPARTS silver ones that go in the end of the handle bars. Way better look and I can see behind me now.

    If this is the 21 model the cat is no longer under the leg as in the 2019-20 version, it has been moved to the back hence it should no longer generate excessive heat.

      @MOTOUK1  2 года назад +1

    Thanks for the vid, I’m a new subscriber and now in a dilemma. I currently have a speed triple 1050 and wanted to get something a little less aggressive and had been considering the speed twin, but I’m 6’2” and 16st and a few people have said I may find it a bit small. I’ve always liked the scrambler 1200 but would you consider it as a one bike only alternative to the speed triple?

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  2 года назад +1

      Hi Martin, firstly thanks for the Sub, and I’m same height and 95kg and feel the speed twin would feel small and under sprung for your weight. The Scramble XE I tested here blew me away, I could live with this as only bike yes and love the classic looks. I am awaiting the scrambler XC as that’s a little lower but there’s a slight delay to get that bike. Recommend go sit on the scrambler test ride one. I am riding today the Tiger 900 GT Pro which I like also and for our height is a super bike really for the money. Video dropping tomorrow’s on first ride and spec.

      Depends if you like a transforms look or a classic one. I need to see the 10 in the flesh before I can comment but initial it doesn’t look finished. Let’s see, oh I can’t because Yamaha are not attending Motorcycle live this year :( oh well soon be in dealers 👍 test the Scrambler, as you know I own a 10 and loved the scrambler so much

      @@MOTOUK1 I do like the retro look but that cp4 engine is just something else. I couldn't stop smiling after I test rode one at my local dealer. If yamaha would ever make a let's say XSR1000 (retro styled mt-10) I could have the best of two worlds 😁

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  2 года назад
