Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 ownership Review
I enjoyed your review of the bike. This is Allen from Dallas, Texas, U.S.A., writing in late July, 2024. I picked up my new Scrambler 1200xe about two months ago, and have been riding it pretty frequently since then. The weather here has been hot, but bearable. The hot exhaust on the bike is certainly a bother in this weather, but, actually not too bad. I still have the stock exhaust, and I like how quiet it is. I’d certainly be inclined to mount that Vance & Hines exhaust on my bike, as the de-cat would probably make it a bit cooler. It doesn’t seem very loud from the audio of your review. I’m still waiting for back-ordered accessories for my bike, two plus months in. Happy Trails!
@@0HARE thank you so much for watching, really leans a lot, and for taking the time to comment. The Vance and Hines sounded amazing, I'd recommend it. Enjoy the triumph!

Brilliant
Excellent. Let's face it, there were always going to be breakdowns, mechanical or emotional.... I mean, it's a Helmet Head 11/10 Adventure Production.
Yep..wait for episode 2!
Simply the most funny epic video I’ve seen 😂 bravo my fellow Lord!
There's more to come!!
Good review, only seen this today. I brought that actual bike( yes this actual bike) a few months ago and love it. Ideal for thrashing around the local Cornish lanes. Really enjoy the V&H pipe, seat is terrible though.
Excellent... It's very pretty but yes, that seat is hard!!!! Thanks for watching!
The fully exposed radiator ruins the bike for me. I loved the ride and the sound, but at the end of the day I have to also admire the look. Too many choices out there to settle.
I guess it's always a personal choice at the end of the day and you have to go with your heart.
Some bike or another or summat..... your Lordship.

yes ive heard a lot about that's, might look into it...
Hmmmmm, what are some of the added benefits or traits that it'll create. Honest question, Z900RS owner. Just wanna learn more..
Beautiful colour 😎👌 got to say I love mine and for me was the best decision swapping from the tiger 900 as for right leg don’t put it down lol 😂 that exhaust makes you cover your back brake ☝️
thats true.... maybe im just an odd shape!!!
I’ve looked at these bikes and I think they’re a nice little bike takes me back to late 70’s when I started on bikes they were one of the top bikes to have in those days and still now a beautiful little retro bike for buzzing round the countryside great fun take care ride safe
thanks for watching, I loved it,,,
This bike is a queen between this classic style off road big bikes. She’s a Beauty! Full of character but has the main collection of modern gadgets that we find on the top class bikes. I see it as a bike to ride mostly on solo, but it can handle a passenger in the back and some luggage on the left side. It’s pleasant to ride on every kind of road. I’ve ridden for two years a BMW r nine. It’s well known that it is a naked bike too, and on highways never felt too much the disadvantage of the wind blast (on this type of bike unconsciously, we tend to ride on moderate speeds, because the wind becomes an issue), once noted the limits of comfort being defied, the rider adapts and naturally brings down the speed to those patterns where we feel comfortable. The bike does everything but the longer rides on highways it’s not the ideal route for a bike like this, if we want to travel fast. The heat that comes from the exhaust is the price we must pay for the privilege of riding a bike that is a queen amongst a realm of very dull and all alike bikes that fulfill our roads. It’s like going out on a sharp suite and being annoyed by the tie we’ve got to wear. It’s part of the aesthetic and reputation of a bike that carries a strong sign of tradition and heritage in its design concept. It’s not only another common bike. It’s art what we are riding and not just another bike. It’s living tribute to a type of machine that became famous in the past and for me that’s a value to understand and to savor. That’s why I think this Bonneville style of bikes that Triumph proudly keeps manufacturing are not to compare with the rest of the bikes we have in the present, and still they ride well and they’re are modern enough to behave and prove itself as capable alternatives on the Market. That’s an achievement. Man, this bike is a keeper! 👌🏻
you are right, i love all tose things about it, thank you for watching
Well said, sir. I totally agree.
thanks for watching, its actually a very nice bike, they wouldn't have sold many of it was burning the riders i guess.
I have been thinking about getting one of these, mostly because it might offer some relief from the bomb craters on our UK roads. Also because I really dislike cleaning bikes and scramblers look alright dirty. I`ve herd, heat from the standard exhaust is fine. Thank you for the review.
thanks for watching, its actually a very nice bike, they wouldn't have sold many of it was burning the riders i guess.
See your in Yeovil 😊

Nice Jaffer
G'day mate. I bought the SE model for my 65th recently, and along with the RE 650 Interceptor, I can honestly say that I am Finally content with the bikes I have in my garage. I had the ZI in '76 (second hand), and fell in love with road bikes from that year on. Cannot recall how many bikes I have previously owned in the last 50 years, but now I have the best of both worlds at my finger tips. Sedate humming along on the RE, and somewhat more spirited "playtime" on the RS. First time on your channel brother, and I appreciate your style. Great review, pity it was so cold and you couldn't really open her up, but I believe you felt the absolutely honest enjoyment of riding this brilliant back to basics bike. Kudo's to Kwaka for bringing the true sense of controlling the bike with your wrist and brain, and not a bloody computer! Greetings from Oz, and subcribed. Cheers mate.
absolutely loved this bike, I also had the RE 650 interceptor but it was physically a bit small for me, this gives you the true feeling of motorcycling, brilliant bike( as I might have mentioned). thanks for watching 😁
Theses bikes are the dogs bollocks . Snatchy clutch just grab it & you are gone one like like sh..t of a shovel. 😊😊😊😊
yep.. loved it. hang on tight, more to come, thanks for watching!
Would you buy it , the Z900RS?
well.... maybe... we just have to wait and see!, thanks for watching! 😁
First time viewer and great honest first impressions ive owned over 60 bikes in 47years of riding and i can honestly say i bought the se version and im so glad i did its smooth beautiful to look at and all you need and it makes me feel like im in the 70s again ,ive had the gxsr1000,hyabusa ,zzr1400 and they are all awesome but truthfully this bike to me seems just what ive been looking for a very long time well done kawasaki.
thanks buddy, and thank you for subscribing. It's certainly a bike that makes you think about why you got onto biking in the first place. I really loved it.
Mine is from 2018 20000 km K&N air & oil filters Iridium spark plugs Bread box out Akrapovic muffler ECU flashed SAI disabled Full Barnett clutch ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
nice, ill be looking forward to possible mods.. thanks for watching
Uprightness 😮
nicely done sir! I have the Z650RS as I dont need 900cc.... I think the 900 looks and sounds amazing and I wish Kawasaki had given the 650 the same treatment in the looks department. If I could have multiple bikes just like TMF that you mentioned, I would definitely have the 900, for sure
yep it looks amazing and really does sound good. Can't wait for some drier weather to see if i can give it a good outing. thank you so much for watching!
No rider modes now thats just what i like, great bike, great review you could tell you really did like it. Its on my radar that's for sure as it seems it is on yours.
Absolutely loved it... watch this space!! thanks for watching!
There's actually (2) rider modes, if we're being literal lol.. (1) full traction control AND wheelie control turned on, and then there's (1) mode dedicated for RAIN, and the last mode is all of those things turned OFF. So, three modes lol.
The sounds of this engine is music to my ears. If I were to buy it I'd ignore any cons only for the sound.
it does sound amazing.... thanks so much for watching..
I enjoy watching reviews on this bike, it's very handsome. Brings back memories, first thing I noticed was the time when seats were actually comfortable. The styling, right down to the period accurate font on the badges, takes me back. Yesterday was the same temperature here in Colorado, full face helmet, chin skirt and a balaclava keeps the face warm 👍
thank you so much for watching, yep should definately have worn more!!
I love it but woukd want that quad pipe exhuast!
Nice review.
thanks..!!
Great review. I got mine in '21, the first new bike I'd purchased since my GPZ900R (A2) in '86! It really is something very special .. and it had to be to get me back on 2 wheels after a long time away. I used to say that as a man of a certain age it gives me everything I need. But now I feel like I want ... 'more' (don't we always?), and am considering trading it in for a Ninja 1000SX. I now live in Missouri where there are still wide open spaces, very few cops and speed cameras seemingly don't exist.
thanks so much for watching. its a special bike for sure..... if you want more... go for it!
I have a yellow ball R/S and I took it to France , went all around Normandy and it was amazing, my advice is buy one you won’t be disappointed. Get a tank bag and rucksack your done 👍
sounds like great advice.. watch this space!!

thanks dude...
Excellent first impressions ride. Interesting to get a review from the perspective of a taller rider. I'm a similar height and have found a few modern bikes too small, even those much loved by mainstream journo's.
Loved it, it didn't feel small at all... Just a little windy!
