I have watched about 30 reactions of this video can’t get enough of seeing people’s minds blown. The last beat is from Saoco the original video with the motorcycles is pretty dope. When I heard that beat it blew my mind. Cocona is hands down the best but the diversity is fantastic.

XG is simply a girl group, not a J-Pop or K-Pop girl group. Jurin is XG's leader, while Cocona, who recently turned 17, is XG's maknae. There are a total of seven members, all of whom are Japanese. Chisa, Hinata, and Juria are the group's vocalists, and there are videos featuring them as well: "XG VOX." They also have dance videos called "XG MOVE." They debuted in March with only two songs: "Tippy Toes" and their June comeback, "MASCARA," and are now preparing for their next comeback.

I watched the behind the scenes video for this MV. This MV and track was produced in Korea. They were speaking Korean to the staff, etc. They are fluent in Korean!
I would not consider them "Kpop" but they are not exactly "Jpop" either. I wonder what people think about Niziu. They are all Japanese but they are produced by JYP, a Kpop company. Is Niziu Kpop or Jpop? Either way, it's clear that a Korean company is behind XG. I don't know how to categorize them.

XG is a 7 member girl group. All members are Japanese but they were formed and trained essentially under the kpop system/model. Both of their releases so far have been in English but they’re based in korea but do travel back and forth to Japan. In this video all members rap in Korean, Japanese and English. They’re promoted as an international group but it’d be just as accurate to call them a kpop/jpop/global group. One thing for sure is their talent level is scary. Strong rap line, vocal like is unreal, and they dance like a dance crew. You should definitely check out all their videos.
They were actually trained/raised by Avex Artist Academy under their standards and only the last 2-3 years in korea. Their company is a subsidiary of Avex and their producer is also a former Avex trainee.
About the J-pop or kpop thing, their producer said in an interview that they are not a kpop or J-pop group, they define themselves as a global (or international) Hiphop and R&B group 👍🏻
