Ronaldinho's older brother, Assis, was also a football player and was considered a good player in the late 80s and when asked about this, he used to say that the one who was good was his younger brother (who at the time was just a child aged 8 or 9). Later, already playing for Gremio's youth teams (one of the most traditional teams in the south of Brazil), many players from the professional team used to go and watch Ronaldinho train, at the time aged 12 or 13, due to his high skill. .
In 2020, Ronaldinho and Assis were arrested in Paraguay for carrying Paraguayan passports and were detained for almost 6 months. During this period, Ronaldinho participated in a football championship among prisoners and ended up winning the tournament. But this man was a complete spectacle when he played, you never knew what he was going to bring out of the bag, for me he is the most talented and skilled player of all times he was the greatest when in his prime. Sadly he also loved to party alot and that prime did not last too long, still at his age now u can see how skilled he still is.

i remember the champions league final in 2005. Arsenal vs Barcelona. we were 1-0 up for most of the game until we had our keeper sent off. we managed to hold Barcelona back for a little bit but in extra time ronaldinho scored 2 in row from the kickoff and shut us down. our team in 2005 was still basically the invincibles team . Ronaldo couldnt have done that, messi couldnt have done that but ronaldinho did it effortlessly and it remains in my mind to this day
Of course you see things of Messi in him. He was Messi's menthor when Messi started playing for Barcelona´s first team and Ronalginho taught many things to Messi. In fact, Ronaldinho could had been the best ever if he had had a good work ethic. No one has ever brought so much joy to football. He only had 4 or 5 good years in PSG and Barcelona combined but those years were so good that he could be considered a top10 of all time and, if he hadn't been so unprofessional in his lifestyle and had taken football seriously, it wouldn't be crazy to put him even over Messi.
