Can focus on numbers/statistics all you want, and how his career went, it doesn't tell the story and its not equivalent of actual overall ability. There are a lot of variables there. I've yet to see anyone like Ronaldinho, to this today. Not even close. Of course Messi is one of the GOATS and is up there, just different style, but still. Ronaldinho had pretty much every attribute at unparalleled level. Control, dribbling, tricking that is actually effective and not a gimmick, physicality, precision, amazing goal scoring ability both with power and technique, same with passing. He was pretty god tier at every aspect. You just don't see that. So many things he did that you never see and how well rounded he was, was insane. It's like having an MMA fighter that is super top tier at striking, wrestling and bjj. You don't really see that. There is too much fanboyism and tribalism in football to have objective takes in vast majority of cases, sadly.
