    Looks good! upgrading the lights on these trucks are a must. I replaced the headlight bulbs on my 19 colorado last year with LEDS. This last weekend I replaced the front turn signals with LED switchbacks and replaced fog lights with LEDS, I went with all Lasfit leds

      Thank you! What do you think of the switchbacks? I’m kind of on the fence about upgrading them, since the amber bulbs don’t bother me too much, but it would be nice to have all LEDs and relocate the driving lights form the low beam projector into the turn signal area.

    • @birdlegs846

      @@GrazGarage The switchbacks are ok, they do add noticeable light to the road but nothing shocking but the amber color is super bright while blinkers are engaged. I think the people that have vehicles without fog lights would really benefit from switchbacks.

      Did u have any issues with the day time running lights? I just installed the sealight LEDs in my 2016 colorado but now my running lights are not working.

    I always wondered why people don’t unplug the connector first from the light while still in the housing so you can use one hand on that connector instead of pulling bulb out first, you’d have more leverage.
    Thanks for posting, you gave me information I didn’t have before.
    Great video
    Cheers!!

    I just put LEDs in low and high beams. I learned that they need to align vertically or beams of light will not be accurate. This is easy on the high beams as you can see then through the lens cover, not the low beams however. This is important for the lights to work well. Good video...thank you

    I’ve got a 2018 Colorado and it’s not as easy as people are making it out to be. The fog lights are really easy. The low beam and high beam are easy on the drivers side but the passenger side not so much. The dust covers are aggravating to get back on!

      @@username-zg7lw they weren't as bright as I liked for the headlights so returned went with X2 performance series. 3 times the price but 3 times the brightness in my opinion. Still have the sealight T10's for the interior and they have been flawless so far. As far as the truck goes it's the best I've ever bought and I've owned all makes and models. 🤙🏾

    I used the Oracle lights for my 16 canyon. I like them They seem like good bulbs. I've had the worst luck on my G35 though. Thanks for the cool vid! I had already upgraded all my bulbs but your vid was helpful for the next time!!!!

    beautiful truck. I have a black 2019 and just got done putting a lift kit, aftermarket tires and wheels. Next step is the lighting. Eventually I'll go under the hood for a supercharger.

      @GrazGarage  3 года назад

      Thank you! Lift and tires are definitely on the list for me (maybe when this set wears out, I’ll make the upgrade) 😁
      Lighting is a must with these factory halogens. You’ve got yourself a great setup going! Let me know what supercharger you go with. They make a few kits that look pretty good 👍

    Have you or anyone watching used these and the sealight S1's to compare? I just put the S1's in and can't tell if they're any brighter ahead. The light is definitely cleaner though.

    How to upgrade my chevrolet colorado 2013 model headlight

  • @michaelc1422
    @michaelc1422 2 года назад

    I recently installed these in my Colorado in the highbeams. The diodes point to the left and right as they should, but the light is thrown down at the ground and not out in front of the truck. Any idea why that is?

    • @keithmcgregor2546
      @keithmcgregor2546 Год назад

      I replaced my low and high beams, and had to adjust them a couple times. The bulbs should be perfectly vertical in the housing. Any angle deviation will cause the lights not to display properly

    I have a 2018 and almost immediately changed the headlights and fog lights. I never had an issue with the radio as most have, but I do have interference with the backup camera. Do the Sealights play nice with the backup camera?

    • @GrazGarage

    • @arlenegetsinger45
      @arlenegetsinger45 2 года назад

      @@GrazGarage Good to know. Thank you. The only other issue is the fog lights. I did go with the projection, but found that the OEM halogens have more of a 'span' that I like. Found fog lights that hopefully will span rather than project.

  • @birddog6827

    I installed some auxito LEDs and my back up camera has lines in the screen and is all glitchy. Have you had any kind of problems like that?

    • @GrazGarage
      @GrazGarage  Год назад

      I haven’t had any issues with my backup camera resolution or having the picture glitch out on me. I’d maybe try to return them and get another set to see if it continues. I’m not sure what would cause that interference, but it may be worth a shot getting them swapped out to see if the batch you installed were the problem. Best of luck!

    • @GrazGarage
      @GrazGarage  3 года назад +1

      So far, it’s been about 5 months and I don’t have any complaints. No issues with overheating, radio reception, or anything like that. The white color really upgrades the truck’s look and helps with visibility over the halogens that came stock.

    Are your headlight housings projectors or reflectors ? Just asking cause I'm looking for a good set of leds for my 2020 f150 with reflector housings . I hear that led works better with projectors.
    And also great video. Very detailed. Thanks

    • @GrazGarage
      @GrazGarage  3 года назад

      Thank you! So, my low beams are projectors and high beams are reflectors. I’ve heard that comment as well, but haven’t seen anything drastic in the different performance between my low and high beams. Both the projectors and reflectors cast the light down the road fairly well. Hope that helps!

      I have not had any error codes or dash lights come on after installing these lights.
      My truck is also only about a year old and has around 6k on the ODO. (Maybe in older trucks or the older the LED modules get, they may have issues, but so far so good for me)

    • @GrazGarage

      I would assume the same about the fanless ones. Because I kept my dust covers on the back, I figured I’d go with the fan route. Over 4 months, no issues on any overheating or lighting performance.
