Yep, I like the ww3 type of conflict that World War 3 is doing, but I more like the, climate change, government collapsing, running out of world supplies kinds world. Too bad BF 2042 messed up this hard

Bf 2042 pre end of the round theme is unmotivating
@@357reasons7 well i didn't really liked the main theme of bf5, the rest of the soundtrack was really good but the main always felt that something was off to me, maybe because i was expecting something like a bf1943 kinda theme but in bf2042? The only thing someone can like in that soundtrack is the main theme, ONLY.

Battlefield 2042 story: Global economy failure, all countries are falling down, temperature are changing drastically, communications are done for, alliances are broken, mutual distrust within all countries, two global super powers fighting each other for borrowed time and resources, everyone is fighting for survival, and now the entire human race in danger
Battlefield 2042 gameplay: Doesn't fit with the theme and setting of the story
What could Battlefield 2042 could had been if DICE stuck to remastering the old mechanics and gameplay:

Hildur is a great ost producer but imo they shouldn't have picked her for Battlefield. Her OST style is very melancholic and dark while yes i'd say a few of the osts in there I very much enjoy. She's definitely more cut out for things like her previous projects. Being HBO Chernobyl and The Joker movie. Great osts btw highly reccomend.
Honestly I think they should have picked Ludwig Göransson Or Steve Jablonski for this OST

Way better than the official OST. Really fits to a dark gritty atmosphere which sadly the game itself lacks.
For me this just sounds like miscellaneous BF4 sound, not gritty

i feel like this theme could be used for like a “third assault” expansion pack menu music, like a sorry to fans and decided to surprise us with a few remastered maps from bf3/4 and when you open the game this was the theme to play

I like your rendition, but it's too BF3/4 for BF2042 to stand out.
It makes sense since battlefield 3/4 are connected with battlefield 2042 as a aftermath of all the events that took place on those two games.

@@giahuynguyenkim6389 Well yeah, it could had been better if DICE stuck with the original BF4 gameplay or remastered with other golden battlefield games. It could have been actually great to have BF3 suppressing effects, BF1 lighting, BF4 movement and gun mechanics, BFV bullet velocities, BFHL first aid kit and ammo mechanics where you can take those from a player without requesting, first person melee animations, realistic slide movement and effects, more detail, etc. This could had been battlefield 4 2.0 but DICE screwed up once again.

The only thing this theme (and the other theme you made) is missing is that build up punch that every battlefield theme has. The 2042 theme has it but it's obnoxious and painful to listen to.
ur work is better than what they came up with.. this whole game is subpar and proves that they are completely out of touch with the BATTLEFIELD identity

@@bagel_5902 yup, but bf 2042 had got 3 years in development, the problem that the old developers left the studio, and also they try to tradition the other games while they have special things in this series

@@bagel_5902 the thing is DICE was originally making this a Battle Royale only game hence why we have such huge maps and specialists. Then Warzone came along and DICE probably knew they wouldn't be able to compete so they scrapped the idea and made this game as we know it quickly.
