This redesigned moc is FANTASTIC Robin! You clearly put a lot of time and effort into designing this, and it shows. I love how packed and stacked it is, how realistic it feels and looks, and just.... well done!
I think the gardener should be watching the guy getting eaten by his carnivorous plant. He obviously is the guy taking care of it and making sure it is fed.
The carnivorous plant could be called the Audrey 3, the plant from the movie Little Shop of Horrors was Audrey 2, "Feed me Seymour," or would it be "Feed me Robin?"
The Bonsai Tree next to the frog pond would really tie the style together. Like another person said flipping the pink and the bench would allow you to see in better. Over all just awesome!
Can you fill the top hole of Barry the carnivorous plant with a smsll technic pin and s 1x1 round lime green tile? Or even something crazier like a eyeball.
Wow simply wow! Well done Robin this is beautiful! However I think the blue climber doesn't quite look right. The plant doesn't link into the group so it's floating above the paving slabs. The tree on the inside looks amazing and is packed and stacked so is perfect! I wonder if you could add a butterfly to the tree on the inside and possibly to the outside? Looking forward to seeing the minis whizzing by!
You did an amazing job with this build. But perhaps there is too much pink in front so maybe you could find different colors of flowers for the ones by the doors.
Wow Robin Beautiful botanical gardens that you’ve created and I’m glad that you’ve added some butterflies because you know that butterflies are one of the most beautiful creatures we find in our gardens 🦋 🦋
Just my opinion but I think that the two climbing plants serve to obscure the beauty of the building and make it look too busy. I'm also not a fan of the Japanese pagoda for the same reason.
Amazing job Robin! I definitely would love to build this just like yours. I think this blows away the ideas set tenfold. It's just so colorful, and having the all glass dome is a genius idea. I did get a laugh when you were trying to cram the tree into the building. First thing came to mind was National Lampoons Christmas vacation. How Clark got the Christmas tree into the house and Helen asked if there would be room for the star.. 😂😂. Anyway I can't wait to see this in the Lego room. Keep up the awesome work!
It looks great! I love the climbing plants! I think the only thing I would do when you have your bigger space, I would consider switching the pink flowering tree and the “snake” bench. This would allow the scene with the carnivorous plant to be seen from both sides and will spread the benches out a bit. Great job!
I agree it is the most beautiful set ever made!!!! And yes, you made it even more beautiful!!! I love it! Perfect size! I hope you can find a beautiful spot for it in Bricknottingham 2.0!!!
Love it! Very grand and pretty, you made the original set that much better. A few additions that popped into my head; add a gecko to the tropical area maybe climbing up the wall, not sure what part would work but how about a tongue sticking out close to the man for the carnivorous plant and finally a scene outside with an employee trying to re-capture an escaped butterfly with a net.
Oh yessss!!! The finish is awesome!!!! Stacked and packed with the plants! I think the tree is a perfect size as when I have seen real ones it is like this.🪻🪴🌱 The little and big extras makes it a Robin Hood bricks build 👍. I definitely think you should keep both the climbing plants. Just 1 thing, when you put it in the city I think they should be a minifigure who gets angry 😡 that the mini cars are driving right by it?🤔 JJ F
You need to swap the character out getting eatin for a man with specs, to give a pop-culture nod to "Little Shop of Horrors" a fantastically funny movie BTW. I like both the "climbing vines idea" Great build!!
You should have made a small garden scene and placed it where skele-Robin was standing. Then placed Robin's hat on the ground. As the video progressed first his head could be placed under the hat followed by his torso and legs. That way Robin would have regenerated by growing out of the ground by the end of the video.
Well done robin. Really well done. It is a beautiful model. You did a really good job on the MOC. I will have to copy your crawling plants on the outside. That is a fantastic idea , keep them! All my MOC's are modular, this one I did the same as you, I didn't make it available to open. It is perfection. I am glad you didn't made it modular, I would have had to ponder your creation. Great job!
Robin I hear you mentioning a new structure or arrangement for your city. I also follow a guy here in Canada called “Bricksie” who has a large Lego collection. He was also running out of space, so he turned his “hobby” into his business. He set up a company, which acquired his collection and has just rented a huge space downtown to set up and expand his hobby. So any Lego the company buys is now a business expense and he is an employee of the company. Perhaps that’s the only way ahead for real expansion. Just a thought.
This is beyond phenomenal - strongly agree my favourite mod/moc of the set!!! Beautiful additions I love the creepers, but might just do the roses on the back and save the blue for another building in close proximity, might look good on book store apt? Thanks as always for the work you do. Such an enjoyable video and excited for bricknottingham 2.0 🤞🏻!!
Fantastic! ❤ Your Lego-fu keeps amazing me ;) Anytime I see a plant about to eat a person, I remember Czech film Dinner for Adele from 1977. So... If you are looking for inspiration for a name - I recommend that. Might give you some story ideas too ;)
Hey Robin. Amazing build. Maybe swap the Bonsai and the mushroom. The Bonsai belongs in the japanese Garden and maybe add a stonelantern. The Red of the mushroom would also more Pop ob the other Side cause its Not behind the also Red pagoda. Always fun watching you build.
Awesome build. I did something very similar. Idea? Flip the two clear curved roof parts around so that the hinges are towards the back of the building. Then put a 1x 6 tile on them to complete the front.
Love it! I think the selfy lady should be in front of the guy about to be eaten by Barry! She could be taking her pic not even paying attention to the fact that he’s about to be eaten in her pic!
7:32 Boris was the first name that came to mind for me... but Barry also works, they're both in the same vein. That is truly one Botanical garden!! It looks incredible!! Definitely the best double version of this set that I've seen!! My only suggestion is, could some gold elements be added somewhere on the outside, perhaps bars or clips or on the dome roof to make it look even more ornate! Definitely add the foliage on the outside, it makes it different like you said and makes it stand out more. Otherwise, its brilliant!
Is it possible to make the butterfly mobile spin by twisting the top bit of the dome with a piece change? I like the climbing plants. Maybe the petals of the sakura can have an interaction with the fast cars that will be in front?
When you add stuff to the new city, is that when you will modify them again because you said you would do like a second run around the city as in you improve builds you done in the past.
What if you use the smaller plant leaves 2423 to make a chain of them instead. You can then shape them up and around the windows to not block the views inside?
Sometimes less is more. If you pack and stack the exterior of the building with large plants and trees, won't it make it hard to see the lovely interior detail?
I watch every video on this channel and every build is a masterpiece... How does he do it? Gg Robin, amazing MOC! I agree with others in the comments: the "pinkness" of the door handles is mixing too much with the cherry flowers... Maybe a pair of white handles would be more coherent with the building architectural style? Idk...
troll hair for artsy "fake flower" desgin contest going on? Climbing ivy pieces? mechanic scratching his head trying to figure out why he is there with his tools and a landscaper at a mechanical set with his tools?
I think something nice like Alfred or Robert hope you select my name suggestions your my inspiration to build a Lego City I appreciate it Robin love your videos I can't tell you enough keep up the fantastic videos.

I think the gardener should be watching the guy getting eaten by his carnivorous plant. He obviously is the guy taking care of it and making sure it is fed.
To add to that, give the gardener a more mischievous face, he knows what he's doing.
The carnivorous plant could be called the Audrey 3, the plant from the movie Little Shop of Horrors was Audrey 2, "Feed me Seymour," or would it be "Feed me Robin?"
It would be. I forgot that plant had a name too!

I was just coming here to make a similar suggestion. The hole in poor Barry's head kind of detracts from his grandeur, I think.
It could just have a butterfly on it, carefully avoiding being eaten...
@@GodmanchesterGoblinladybug one by one round tile would be nice also
@@lynchzchiller1416 Hadn't thought of that. Agreed!
Wow. That is amazing. A great build, well worth waiting for.
Glad you like it. I do very much!
very wonderful MOC Robin!
It's lovely isn't it!
This turned out great robin. You always make some of the coolest Lego mocs out there.
Glad you think so!
Yes to both of the climbing plants on walls.
that giant green plant reminds me of the Plant from Little Shop of Horrors and that could make for a funny flower shop scene in your city
Oh my gosh I love it fantastic job
Love the owner's look andI say keep the climbers Robin!
This is so beautiful! I Love it

Thank you so much. I love it too!
Wow Robin
Beautiful botanical gardens that you’ve created and I’m glad that you’ve added some butterflies because you know that butterflies are one of the most beautiful creatures we find in our gardens 🦋 🦋
Agreed, although I have a big soft spot for bees, especially bumble bees!
Just my opinion but I think that the two climbing plants serve to obscure the beauty of the building and make it look too busy. I'm also not a fan of the Japanese pagoda for the same reason.
Oh I love the red of the pagoda. That's staying for sure!
What a fantastic building; this has been the best adjusted version I have seen 🎉
Wow, thank you!
I love how this has turned out, it looks great
Amazing job Robin! I definitely would love to build this just like yours. I think this blows away the ideas set tenfold. It's just so colorful, and having the all glass dome is a genius idea. Haha, I remember that scene too. Yes it'll look good in the city and I'll be careful to put it somewhere very visible in BN2.0!
This build is beautiful. I’m going to have to replicate it for my city.
Keep up the good work.
Will do and send me a picture when it's done!
One of the Best buildings you have ever done. I like this one a lot.
Such an incredible set and I love the way you have made it your own!! Fantastic build, as always!! ❤
Thank you so much!
I just see Barry saying “Feed me Seymour”
As soon as I seen that plant that's what popped into my head
Same here 😂

Mentioned before the plant looks like the one in little bookshop of horrors. My name suggestion for her Audrey

Absolutely gorgeous! Excellent work!
Wonderful update chap
Thank you, as ever!
i love the idea of the climbing plants on the outside, you gave me a great idea for my botanical gardens.
Maybe if you have a spare pink tentacle piece you could have that coming out of the carnivorous plant as a tongue
You need to swap the character out getting eatin for a man with specs, to give a pop-culture nod to "Little Shop of Horrors" a fantastically funny movie BTW. I like both the "climbing vines idea"
Great build!!
Make the person getting eaten a dentist and have his motorbike parked outside
The gardener should have seymour krelborn specs. And have a treo of singers narrating the story
Absolutely gorgeous!
Should definitely call the carnivorous plant 'Seymour'
WOW, impressive build
It came out just great:) If I had the space, I would rebrick it.
Thisoks awesome. I’d say keep the climbing vines ince they look great and having them in the build makes you happy 😊
Love it!
So glad!

There is one more butterfly you don't have, part 6475767 (that came from the Family Tree ideas set). Not available on Bricks & Pieces yet though.
That's another collection started!

that is lovely!

You should earn an honorary Lego Design Team membership for this and your other MOCs.

I definitely think that the fly trap should be called Terry. Terry the Venus fly (or possibly human?) trap.
Apart from that, great video as always!
Name that big plant Seymour comes from the movie Little shop of horrors it's actually a pretty good movie
Is that how robin lost his skin? Playing inside carnivorous plants?
Being a real life BARRY I approve of the name BARRY
Yup. I like the name Barry too, even if most people want Audrey 3!
for me the plant is a Gerdie :D BUT, in my country there is a movie about a human eating plant called Adéla (movie Adéla ještě nevečeřela)
A butterfly house is called a conservatory, or lepidopterarium.
Barry shouldn't be called Trevor, he should be called Malcolm.
Make suggestion for the plant Charles it looks like a Charles or Charlie
Robin, you know you have to name the plant Audrey III
Is it possible to make the butterfly mobile spin by twisting the top bit of the dome with a piece change? I like the climbing plants. Maybe the petals of the sakura can have an interaction with the fast cars that will be in front?

dear Robin - could the waterfalls have some white water spray/splash elements ?? rather than looking like a flat glass window piece?
Oh yes that's what's missing some movement as such from the falls! It almost looks like 2 blue windows at the moment. Great idea 🤩
What if you use the smaller plant leaves 2423 to make a chain of them instead. You can then shape them up and around the windows to not block the views inside?
Amazing
Much appreciated!
you should put the underwater plant in a cave poking his head out
Yeah I want them catching divers!

Mind you, I love the exterior tree.... Just wonder if it prevents the viewer from really getting a sense of the interior.
