Since fishing and bug catching is such a big element in the game, I think most sets should come with some kind of bug or fish. And not just the generic ones, but new colors, prints, etc. New molds, etc. A Lego Coelocanth would be awesome.
I was almost hoping for a "piece pack" like they did with the water animals in the friends line. A "sea fish" a "river fish" packs and some printed tiles for the bugs and new prints for the butterflies would be amazing. I hope that they fix this in time for when an animal crossing museum is about to be released because if not... What are you going to display then? Random animals?
If the series remains popular, I could easily see them making a bunch of new moulds for critters. A beetle piece would go a long way. They could reuse it in other sets too. I'm also hoping for new tools. That old shovel mould is classic, but it looks nothing like the actual shovels from Animal Crossing. The axe could be more accurate too. Also, they need to bring back the smaller fishing rod piece that was used in the CMF series. The string piece that came with it let you attack a fish to it, which was just perfect.
the tree stump indicates someone chopped the tree down to harvest the wood it gives to build furniture using the work bench. The little cards with the acorn's on them are DIY instructions for building new styles of furniture. Just thought I'd share that info from the video game.
It's not a duck, it's a Kappa demon(which is far more similar to a turtle) inspired by Japanese folklore, hence why his name is a play on the words 'captain' and 'Kappa'
I really think unlike Lego Mario you can look at these sets and say "they are definitely worth their price" an many are under the 50$ threshold. The cutesy aesthetic and generally kid friendly builds make this theme literally perfect for kids and adults alike, I'm guessing they went conservative but struck gold for sure
I really love this wave, I picked up all the sets this weekend and I am blown away how they all feel both like Lego and animal crossing at the same time! I hope that they can start adding more minifigures in the next wave since the can reuse the head molds for a lot of characters. I think for books cranny, I would have liked to see Timmy and Tommy since they could have used the same head mold as Tom nook since they are the same species in the game The only thing I'm worried about is that since these sets seem verry expensive to make, will Lego require them to sell that much more than a normal successful wave in order to keep the theme alive?
As an Animal Crossing fan, these sets are amazing and one of the best translations of a video game into Lego. Also one more thing: Kapp'n is a turtle, not a duck 🐢 I hope they include some duck villagers in future sets though
I feel like the lack of characters is also a disservice to the game itself! People love animal crossing, not just for the customizable buildings and island layouts (Which I love the modular approach to) but also the characters! There are over 600 unique villagers, and since so many in-game events are focused on big social gatherings and recruiting different villagers to come visit your island. I think the best approach would be to have some mini-figures for sale in their own small bag sets like with Pumpkin. It'd be the best way to get these expensive mini-figures out to people without making the sets too expensive (also it allows for more customization to your "island" as you can choose which villagers you want in your island!)
We are absolutely loving all the sets! We are hoping for the leaked Brickheadz, CMF and even going to hope for an Advent Calendar in the coming years!!!
He couldnt know, he is not into animal crossing. Nintendo itself calls them racoon and turtle, I guess they think we not Japanese people are to far away from their culture to understand the truth. But there are a lot Japan fans that teached us about these things, what I love. Thank you for your informations!
Awww I love love love the trees and the palms. They are georgeous, so much better than the lego creations. The water looks so good. I hope you will make a video about how the trees are made. Just one litte thing disturbs me. The original lego figures do not fit into this world. The villagers are normally as big as the animals or a little bit bigger. I would recommend the minifigures of kiddy craft, if it hasnt it to be lego. Thanks for sharing!
The Fauna’s House Visit set, personally I think it is FAUNA’S house and Isabelle is the one visiting the house, not Isabelle’s house with Fauna visiting. But that’s just me personally
The LEGO Shop had it as a bonus if you spent over £45 on a few specific themes last weekend - I think it was supposed to last until the end of this week, but maybe they ran out of the bonus? (Or it's just not showing up for me anymore)
i'm pretty disappointed with the villager selection with this first wave. none of them are a pickup for me. i'm really wanting something with tangy, opal, or peck. rosy is mildly tempting but i'm not very attached to her.
I would buy all the characters (if they make more) because apart from being super cute and bringing back a lot of childhood and pandemic nostalgia, it does feel like they brought back Fabuland, and I have been wanting some of those too. I would love to see a Fabuland character crossover in a new AC game in the future.
I hope it is, a good sign is that my lego store had no Isabelle sets since they sold out on day 1, and the other sets they were already running out, and it was not expected.
I couldn’t care on but about animal crossing but these sets are amazing Also Lego pls pls plsss make legend of Zelda sets we know you can your just stalling
I’m excited for these because even though I’ve never played Animal Crossing, just like you said at 27:51, I hope the Lego Fortnite minifigures coming in October are just a good as these since this sets a really high bar for what Lego is capable of doing for video game sets.
Love the mini fig s. But I need all the dream zzz set s mini fig s. Then I might get. Thea's mini fig s. .even tho I not played the game ..I'm trying to get more fabuland mini figs so Thea's mini fig s. Will go with them. 😊
These figures do not compare to the fabuland figures. They are smaller and their heads are not as good moveable like the fabuland ones. But I see why they remind you

I need them to make Blathers Museum and the Able Sisters

They should do an Animal Crossing CMF line! There's hundreds of villagers, they could pick a bunch of fan favourites :)
Omg yes that would be so perfect! Id go broke
I've never played this game but the sets are just so good!
Lego Animal Crossing is the modern Fabuland!
In my opinion, they should give the mailbox helmet holes so you can put a rangefinder on it to make the blue flag.

my favourite theme in years

Kapp'n is not a turtle or a duck. He's a Kappa, a mythological japanese creature that inhabit ponds and rivers.
@@kersingicame to reply this exact thing lol
Lol, the guy celebrating his birthday alone is sad but also really funny
He is of course not alone, the others are already on the way to join him. Let you phantasie play
I feel like the lack of characters is also a disservice to the game itself!

I can imagine they already planned something like that. Or a series with only AC-figures. I would love to add my human villager, too
Can't wait to get the rest of these sets! My Lego store was all sold out 😢
I would love merengue in a set, since I love rhinos.
We might as renome the lego mario plate pieces into The Nintendo Piece
Most of those sets are interchangeable. I can think of serval ways to combine one of the larger set with a smaller set to produce something amazing
We are absolutely loving all the sets! We are hoping for the leaked Brickheadz, CMF and even going to hope for an Advent Calendar in the coming years!!!
Wait leaked cmf for animal crossing? Haven't heard anything about that
What stores did you see sell the Maple polybag? Need to know, want to buy more of it.
Amazing
Lmao, that "duck" is actually a Kappa, a japanese mythological creature similar to a turtle.
Like how Tom Nook is a Tanuki, not a racoon.

Waiting for K.K. to come bye in the future.... We dont have a town hall. so he might come with a Townhall
And now we know you were right! 🎉
Awww

Rumours about a Fauna’s house set? But…. we already have Fauna and her house… i can see it in the video
I don't think we have that GWP here in the UK :/

Great video bro
Welcome back fabuland. In my most played switch game
Kapp'n is a turtle, not a duck. :p
i'm pretty disappointed with the villager selection with this first wave. none of them are a pickup for me. i'm really wanting something with tangy, opal, or peck. rosy is mildly tempting but i'm not very attached to her.
I love these sets so much too bad I'm broke asf 🤧

Do you think the theme will be a popular in Lego?First btw
I hope it is, a good sign is that my lego store had no Isabelle sets since they sold out on day 1, and the other sets they were already running out, and it was not expected.
@@LadyArete Both nook's cranny and isabelle's house visit were sold out since day 1. Luckily, I have those two.
I couldn’t care on but about animal crossing but these sets are amazing
Also Lego pls pls plsss make legend of Zelda sets we know you can your just stalling
A kappa is not a duck
I hope we get Ankha
Imagine you just fall in that staircase 💀

I just want nooks cranny and all the figs,
Is your Lego room your basement,?

Bro has never played animal crossing
I wanted to comment the exact same thing
He’s a turtle not a duck.. I feel like you’ve never played the game
That factoid is completely irrelevant to the review
Why your reviews are mad? Learn from racing brick and Jang bricks 😅😅😂
What do you mean?
