I also just came back from watching the robot hand video and I didn't even notice she didn't have a pinky! That being said though, I just started watching her yesterday yesterday
love this... i am planing to do this to my stairs when i take it out the old staircase and add the new one as well i am going to build a deck and have lights under it to give the appearance of a floating bed idea
Hey, i really hope you end up seeing this. I am trying to do the LED lights on the stairs the same way you did. What power supply did you use? Also, which LED strips did you use. Ive been trying to figure this out for weeks now! Please help. Awesome build!
very cool, looks great, I just found your site because of the plexi art work you made, could you have used plexiglas for the edges instead of the aluminum strips? Still searching for people that are using plexi to light up and create with. Good work.
Like it. (It is funny how you hold the angle grinder sometimes. I'm using such tools for about 30 years but I'd never cut with it flipped over. Haven't you ever experienced any kickback doing so?)
Thank you! For your question: yes, it is noticeable when you step on it, but it's placed at the back of every step so it's never really stepped on. Visually not visible :) Good question, thanks!
Very good idea but think I would have glued the carpet down and trimmed those wires back before soldiering to the LEDs so not to cause a short anywhere.and as someone else in the comments said that if you used a different set of led's you could have had rgb and remote controlled/pulse in time with the music.ive subbed to you though.great work.
Exactly what I thought. I would have started with the instalment of the leds and I would have gone with a bit better quality of carpet, since this will never stay flat unless glued. Overall it does look quite nice though. That's brilliant of these videos. They give you ideas and you can learn from what do do and don't do.
I’d probably go with white lights as well just because of past experience with RGB light having issues with individual colors burning out leaving you with a strip of lights that looks like crappy because the colors aren’t right.
good idea.. but i dont really like to see all if those dots from the led strip.. maybe using aluminium uchannel to hide the led strips would've been nicer to remove all the dots..
Very cool project, but careful how you cut the aluminum. A cut-off wheel is definitely not a good choice. See here: www.reddit.com/r/metalworking/comments/29x12u/advice_needed_on_cutting_aluminum/
Amazing how far this channel has gone and love how much more at ease martina and hansi are in later videos 📹
Came back in time just to look for a left pinky. Amazing. R.i.p Pinky... You will be missed. But the channel lives on and thrives in your memory

That stairway turned out really nice.
Beautiful!!!
Definitely a project my wife and I would do.
Cant wait to share this with her.
Great video!
Sweet! Looks great and brilliant use of the templates! Love the music too!
Thanks for noticing ;)
I normally don't comment on youtube but I love your channel! I wish I could spend time making all these things too, keep up the great work! :)
Thank you very much! That's really appreciated
@@Nerdforgewow
Priceless
just found your channel and I already have at least 3 projects in my head, inspired by you!
That's really cool to hear!
Outstanding work!!...
Looks amazing!
Thanks man!
Looks great a just reward for all your hard work well done :)
that's so nice
Very Cool!
😍 👍👍I see that you soldered the leds is this better than using connectors,Thanks
This is a very nice project, and an extremely impressive video documentation, considering the size of this channel ;)
Thank you, we're trying ;)
wow so cool!
Thanks Stan!
Nice made
love this... i am planing to do this to my stairs when i take it out the old staircase and add the new one as well i am going to build a deck and have lights under it to give the appearance of a floating bed idea
That sounds cool! Drop me an image ;)
Good idea to highlight the steps

Hello! Links for the LEDs are in the description, and this is the power supply: bit.ly/acdcsupply
Thanks for your feedback!
Five fingers on this one...
Amazing channel!! Thanks for uploading!
Really awesome you are brilliant
Looks nice kid ✔️

Good work.

I love it
amazing bro!
Thank you!
does it works directly to a switch?
this is good. i especially like th songs.
Nice one :)
Thank you, thank you
Wow, That's Awesome! Maybe when stripping the wires, don't strip so much off (less likely to touch the wire next to it and short circuit) :)
That's a great tip, thanks!
Your welcome, Keep up the great work!
Great job! Thank you for posting this tutorial! God bless in Jesus' name!
Here we see the origins of the paper templates
I would love to do this project but use a Raspberry pi and a light sensor to automate the leds 🙂
I am a bit late to the party but that seems serious overkill. A comparator with a FET can do that too
Great work on the steps but my only question would be about the velcro. Wouldn't that make a noticeable lump when walking on the stairs?
Thank you! For your question: yes, it is noticeable when you step on it, but it's placed at the back of every step so it's never really stepped on. Visually not visible :) Good question, thanks!
This is cool, but on a serious note...what font did you use???
👌👌👌
did you use 12V adaptor on that project or you directly connect it on a switch?
You Are Awesome... Love Ya! :)
thanks full
Hey.. Could you teach me how to do soldering 4 way RGB strip to the 4 way wire please?
I can already see someone spilling their drink on this.
Gamer Wannabe most of these lights are waterproof. and extremely inexpensive ;-)
what kind of plug did you use, i see the wire you used but can you tell me was it just a extension cord you spliced or some type of power cord,
Used a 12v DC adapter, and then soldered the LED strips to the positive and negative
I'm the #5845 Sub, your videos are great.
I really want to see more =))))
Best regards. :)
Hey!
Thank you, that's really nice to hear :)
How did u connect the LEDs? in series or parallel ?
always parallel, you would never want to connect something like this in series
In parallel yes!
Thanks, I'm not that good with anything electrical (even in college I sucked at it) so that's why I asked u electrical experts :)
I want this 😭
💕

Lovetex tape
You missed on the opportunity to make it RGB
:'(
+Natural Nerd it looks nice though, better than anything I can do

This is accent light or not? Sorry im new :)
Hope u can reply, thx^^
God the only part I wanted to see is hidden, how are each stair leds wired together to power source?

Thanks! Still learning, and that is nice to know

Dilenciiiiiiiiii
I bet you got tired of slipoing on those stairs in your socks. You have probably been thinking of putting carpet down for awhile.
This video was so annoyingly long that I now hate the idea of accent lighting on stairs.
how did you connect the LEDs are they individualy powered or at the same time with one switch ?
LOL
It requires total 20 switches to turn on 1 strip you can do rest of the math
